Representing the last generation of the naturally aspirated 911 Carrera, this 2013 Porsche 991 Carrera S Coupe features a 400 HP flat-six engine paired with a 7-speed manual transmission. Finished in Black over a matching leather interior, this example was configured at an original window sticker price of approximately $114k and features the Premium Package Plus, Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, Porsche Dynamic Light System, ParkAssist, a SportDesign steering wheel, a leather rear center console, and much more. Showing approximately 16k miles on the odometer, this two-owner Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Iowa.
This Coupe comes finished in Black and was configured without a sunroof along with an understated “911” rear model designation. It rides on 20” Carrera S wheels with optional colored Porsche center crests and a set of Pirelli P Zero tires from 2020 and 2019. The Carrera S can be differentiated from the standard Carrera by its red-painted brake calipers and double-tipped exhaust outlets. Additional options include 5mm wheel spacers, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), and Sport Exhaust tailpipes. Some signs of road wear are noted on the front bumper, and the seller adds that polish and wax have been applied in preparation for the sale.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather and features optional 14-way Power Sport Seats as part of the Premium Package Plus along with front seat heating, Porsche-crested headrests, a model logo on the center console, and a rear center console in leather. Other options include a SportDesign steering wheel, automatically dimming mirrors, power-folding exterior mirrors, ParkAssist (front & rear), and the Sport Chrono Package which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 400 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed manual transmission modified with a short shifter. Performance features include Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), six-piston front brakes, four-piston rear brakes, and the optional Sport Exhaust System. @211Broadway No, Smoker's Package is a free option that a lot of Porsche owners add to get the cigarette outlet placed more conveniently in the center console area, and to get rid of the coin tray that is equipped if you don't. @RoccoCollector there is not any aftermarket seats. This car is in stock condition, and has never been tampered with, besides the shifter install. The shifter install is shown in the service records, done at a Porsche dealer. The seats in the car are the seats that came from the factory, 14-way with Crest in the headrest. Nothing odd about it.
@roccoCollector I do not know the brand of the shifter, but it is not "jerky" it moves very precisely in and out of gears and feels very nice. From what I can tell, the vehicle has not been tracked. When speaking to the service manager that got all the records, he made it sound as if it only came in for yearly inspections, and all routine services. The intervals make sense for a car that has only seen road use, not track time.
How often was the car tracked if at all? Please add crucial underbody photos. Feels odd that a RWD S wouldn’t have been spec’d with the base seats — my guess is there are also aftermarket bucket seats that replaced the base seats. If so, do you have them?
Please list the *brand* of the short shifter. The shifter seems to move in a jerky fashion, and the brand will tell a lot about its feel (and probable cables used).

@mmcervantes the short shift is an aftermarket add, but feels awesome shifting up and down. Very precise and makes it feel even more sporty. My opinion tells me this is not a track car. It does not show signs of being tracked from what I see. The paint is flawless on the body, free of any dents, dings, scratches (I had it professionally polished and waxed before listing). the front bumper does have some road wear, but this is the most prone area to debris on the highway. I have shown closeup photos of that for you, now in the gallery. The hood has one rock chip, also shown!

The short shifter is not in the build list. Is it an aftermarket modification..? and,
Do you know if this was a track car? Exclusively, partially, or never tracked..?
Regarding the paint.. always difficult to photographically represent. Can you describe the most notable marks and where. Some can be expected so for the next owner they come down to accept as is, owner to retouch, or a shop fix/respray.. Many thanks for your considered responses to all queries..

@mmcervantes as I stated I do not have any of the Manuals. I spoke to Porsche Autobahn in Texas, he said he has serviced the car its whole life, and it has always been in routinely for inspections and recommended services. I’m waiting for an email back with the summary of service history!

@targahawk Can you please provide better pictures of the date codes on the tires. I was able to pick out two one from 2019 and the other from early 2020. In addition can you provide better pictures of the road wear on the front bumper.

Thank you for your prompt response and additional posting regarding the window sticker, manuals etc. Is the Maintenance Record booklet also missing? This record would have the date place and services performed, with dealer stamp, for each. It is one of the 10 or so booklets that comprise the factory manual set in a case. A complete factory replacement set runs $300-400.

@mmcervantes I have a build sheet, but not the original window sticker or manuals. I have two keys, original floor mats plus a set of coco mats I will throw in that are black and red weaved.

@pm2207 I have confirmed with Porsche that the major service (drive belt, spark plugs, fluids, and filters) was completed in August of 2021.
The car saw yearly visits at the Porsche dealer and always maintained a clean bill of health!
@pm2207 I have records from the inspection and work my technician has completed, though I do not possess physical records from previous owners.
The car has been fully inspected by my tech and is not in need of major service as it sits. We inspect everything and look for any signs of fault or degradation. You are also welcome to get a PPI scheduled if you would like to! Just as an extra attempt to gain my insight, I have called Porsche Autobahn where the car was serviced to get a list of all the work they completed, as some of it may not show on the Carfax. Happy to report that once I get in touch with them!

Any maintenance records? Not much maintenance listed on Carfax.
Based on the supplied carfax it didn’t have its first oil change until 7/14/16.
Needs spark plugs changed every 4yrs, brake fluid every 2 yrs, drive belt every 6 years, transmission fluid every 12 yrs.
Miles are low on the car but trying to understand if there is a big maintenance bill waiting?

@BUDNIK18 Good catch, though oddly I took this DME only 200 miles ago. I will run another one to see if the computer updates the date and mileage for me. It should still be squeaky clean! More to come!
