Now up for auction is this 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over a black interior. Acclaimed for its efficiency and accommodating driving characteristics, the Cayenne Diesel offers a permanent all-wheel-drive system and a turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine which offers up to 29 mpg of fuel economy. This 2013 example was ordered with a host of driver amenities including the Bose Audio Package, ParkAssist front and rear, a heated multifunction steering wheel, and Power Steering Plus. Having been cared for by two prior owners in Illinois, this Cayenne Diesel has recently undergone a major service at a Porsche dealership and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee while showing approximately 123k miles on the odometer.
This second-generation Cayenne comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and features a factory-equipped trailer hitch as well as 18” Cayenne wheels with optional colored Porsche center crests. Script “Diesel” logos on both front fenders help to distinguish this Cayenne from a standard model. The seller reports some minor chips on the front bumper and fenders as well as one small ding on the hood, additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The factory wheels come dressed in healthy Yokohama YK740 GTX tires dated from 2020.
Inside, you will find a black interior with the Premium Package which adds 14-way power-adjustable seats with Memory Package, ParkAssist front and rear, heated front seats, automatically dimming mirrors, Bi-Xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a navigation module and universal audio interface. Other options include a heated multifunction steering wheel, the Bose Audio Package, and a moonroof. The only noted imperfections are very slight wear to the carpets and seat bolsters. All instrumentation and accessories are said to remain fully functional.
Assembled by Audi and specially tuned by Porsche, this Cayenne is equipped with a 3.0L V6 diesel engine capable of generating as much as 240 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque. The combined EPA fuel rating is 23 mpg, and this model offers a towing capacity of over 7,700 lbs. The 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission features an auto stop/start function and is paired with a permanent all-wheel-drive system and a self-locking center differential. The optional Power Steering Plus feature also enables variable steering response for improved maneuverability. CARFAX shows routine maintenance to have been carried out by Joe Rizza Ford of Orland Park, IL. for much of the vehicle’s life. A major emissions service was also recently completed by Porsche along with the replacement of the ABS sensors.

Thank you for the under chassis photos. Can you get some further photos at the far rear of the muffler and tow hitch? I want to see how the Illinois salt did on the non stainless parts.

@Tomstoy I believe it is over by mileage now. However my dealer repaired everything under warranty
@Tomstoy This was just at Porsche a couple weeks ago and received 4 campaigns. They replaced multiple sensors, DPF, and also did a software update. My guess is that it has not updated yet. I can upload the invoice. The extended emissions warranty on many of these Diesels is running out this year. This one has until November I believe but luckily has all just been gone through. Many of the Cayenne Diesels I get, have not been completely gone through as this one has. Ill grab some photos underneath as well. Thanks! Miles

@rherrick I have some recent records but the Carfax accounts for most of the history on the car. I have personally put 2000 miles on this Cayenne over the last couple months and I would trust it to go anywhere and do anything. Has been a great vehicle. It is all set to tow with the exception of needing a brake controller if you plan to use a trailer with electronic brakes. There are plug and play kits for these out there. Thanks! -Miles
Do you have service records in addition to the Carfax report? I intend to use it to tow a boat and enclosed trailer, do you have any concerns regarding this particular Cayenne?
