Now up for auction is this 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel finished in Dark Blue Metallic over a Platinum Grey interior. The diesel version of Porsche’s second-generation Cayenne offers impressive fuel efficiency and towing capacity, serving as the most practical variant in the model range. This 2013 example was ordered with a panorama roof system as well as heated and ventilated 14-way Power Seats, the Convenience Package, Bose Audio Package, ParkAssist, and the Walnut Interior Package. Cared for by two prior owners and regularly maintained by authorized Porsche dealers, this Cayenne Diesel is now being offered for auction by its seller out of South Carolina showing approximately 135k miles on the odometer.
This Cayenne comes finished in Dark Blue Metallic and sports the Exterior Package in High-Gloss Black. A rear tow hitch was also equipped from the factory along with 19" Cayenne Design II wheels which are currently dressed in Michelin tires. Diesel script model designations located on both front fenders help to distinguish this model from a standard Cayenne. Clear paint protection film has been applied over the nose and the seller reports several small stone chips on the front-end, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Platinum Grey interior comes with optional Walnut wood trim extending from the dashboard to the door panels, center console, and gear selector. This Cayenne is equipped with a 3.0 L turbocharged V6 assembled by Audi and specially tuned by Porsche. This diesel engine is capable of generating as much as 240 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque, driving all four wheels through an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and self-locking center differential. The combined EPA fuel rating is 23 mpg, and this model offers a towing capacity of over 7,700 lbs. CARFAX shows a long history of maintenance carried out almost exclusively by Aristocrat Motor Co. of Kansas including a major 120k-mile service in 2020.

I have a much better set of matching 4 Bridgestone factory spec tires I’m installing today. All 10/32. These will go with the car. Balanced and much nicer.

Good afternoon. I work with the seller and took all the photos of this amazing Cayenne. This is fantastic example that if you didn’t know the miles you would bet money it had 40k on the odometer. It is that clean and mark free. This Cayenne runs and drive exceptionally well and as it should. I would not hesitate jumping in and taking this truck cross country today. This truck will not disappoint the purchaser.
I will however ask our local dealer in Sarasota for advise. Just to be clear, no shuttering or issues with this one.

@TheBaron @TheBaron: I have heard that the transfer case is not a problem with the Diesels. Maybe this is incorrect? I have a 13 CD with ~103k miles and no TC problems, yet.

To @schumi ‘s point; as a current owner of three (3) Cayenne diesels;’13,’13, ‘14, the transfer case problem can AND will be a pricey issue if it has not already been replaced under warranty by Porsche…..just my experience!

@Schumi We just acquired the car from the second owner and I’m not aware of the transfer case being replaced after going through the service records posted. Also regarding the brakes, the service records indicate brakes being inspected several times during the scheduled Porsche dealer maintenance which seemingly was done perfectly. We could pull the wheels and do an inspection for you. We can look at the rotors and pads front and rear.

@JoeLA The Cayenne is exceptionally clean on the underside. No corrosion or damage. Based on the history this diesel seems to have been well maintained and cared for. It was serviced regularly at a Porsche dealership. Thank you.
