Now up for auction is this 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 finished in Black over Charcoal black leather with red accents. Based on the fifth-generation S197 Ford Mustang, the Shelby GT500 was developed by Ford’s Special Vehicles Team (SVT) and designed around Ford’s 5.8L supercharged Trinity V8 engine generating up to 662 HP. This made it the most powerful production Mustang available at the time, and the first Mustang to have a top speed of over 200 MPH. Equipped with desirable factory options like the SVT Track Package and the Electronics package, this GT500 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with just over 8,300 miles showing on the odometer.
This GT500 is finished in Black (UA) with red over-the-top Le Mans racing stripes and GT500 rocker stripes. Detailed images are available in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Some GT500-specific features include an aluminum hood with heat extractors, omission of a radiator grille to improve airflow, a front splitter, rear trunk lid spoiler with integrated third brake light, and a rear valance with quad exhaust tips. Standard features include HID headlights and sequential LED taillights. This GT500 rides on black 20" Project 6GR wheels dressed in Nitto NT05 tires.
The cabin features Charcoal black leather-trimmed 4-way manually adjustable Recaro bucket seats with perforated inserts, red stripes, and Shelby Cobra logos embossed in the headrests. A Cobra-badged multi-function steering wheel sits ahead of a 220-MPH speedometer and 8,000 RPM tachometer. This example was ordered with the Electronics Package, which equips navigation, dual-zone climate control, a glass sunroof, and a Shaker Pro 7-speaker sound system with a subwoofer.
The Shelby GT500 is powered by a 5.8L supercharged Trinity V8 engine, an evolved version of the Ford Modular V8 found in the first-generation Ford GT. Featuring an all-aluminum block, higher compression, an enlarged bore and stroke, and an Eaton supercharger, the Trinity V8 produces up to 662 HP and 631 lb.-ft of torque. It allows the GT500 to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3.5 seconds and on to a claimed top speed of 202 MPH. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The GT500 receives a host of upgrades over a standard 8-cylinder Mustang including re-tuned springs, a larger front sway bar, a three-row intercooler, twin fuel pumps, larger fuel injectors, a larger heavy-duty clutch, a reinforced transmission with an internal oil pump, a single-piece carbon-fiber driveshaft, and larger 15” 6-piston Brembo brakes. The optional Track Package also equips a nose-mounted differential cooler, a transmission cooler, and an air-to-oil engine oil cooler. All available service information is provided on CARFAX and there are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.
This sale will include a clean title. Don't miss your opportunity to own one of the most powerful and highly sought-after Shelby models on the road, with just over 8k miles traveled from new.

@az911 no they’re not. I didn’t receive them with the purchase. I considered buying a set but ultimately decided that the next owner can choose their preferred rim setup.
Are the factory performance package wheels included in the sale?

Good afternoon @apollo7. First of all, I want to apologize for my delayed response as i just returned back from a family renunion and it's pretty intense/exhausting. Other than the aforementioned modifications on the car (rims and tires), the only two mods are the exhaust (Cats are still on the car), and the Eibach lowering springs. Outside of that, the car is bone stock and ready to rip! This car is insanely perfect and very fun to drive. Let me know if there are any additional questions, and I'll be sure to answer them in a more timely fashion.
Beautiful vehicle. Is the vehicle stock from a performance standpoint (e.g. blower, tune)? Acknowledging the cosmetic upgrades and suspension. Thanks!
Good afternoon everyone, my name is Drew and I’m the seller of this jaw dropping car. I’m very lucky, and thankful to have this vehicle currently, and equally as excited to represent it on this platform for all of you. I personally don’t believe you’ll find a better represented GT500 than this one. Please bare with my responses to your questions through this weekend as I’m at an annual family reunion through Saturday night. I will answer as many as possible with as much respect as possible. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding!
