This 2014 Porsche 991 Turbo Cabriolet presents a White finish over a Black interior, accentuated by a custom TechArt GTstreet RS-style body kit. Under the hood, significant mechanical enhancements include a Porsche 991 Turbo Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust featuring 200-Cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters, Deluxe Quad-Style Tips, Sport Headers, BMC F1 Replacement Air Filter, and XperTune Performance Software. Originally configured with a sticker price exceeding $172k, this model includes desirable options such as the Sport Chrono Package, heated and ventilated seats, and more. Showing under 13k miles on the odometer, this custom Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.

This Turbo Cabriolet is presented in White with a black convertible top and is equipped with a TechArt GTstreet RS-style body kit featuring new front and rear bumpers, a carbon fiber hood, and front fenders. The TechArt-style parts are handcrafted in-house at Wicked Motor Works using custom molds and carbon fiber, including the front and rear bumper accents, fender louvers, side skirts, fender extensions, rear quarter air scoops, a rear wing with a functional pneumatic lift, and side mirror covers. Designed for the 991.2 generation, the kit required the purchase of OEM lighting and attachments from Porsche, upgraded to align with the new generation specifications. The paintwork on the TechArt-style parts is reported to be outstanding, seamlessly matching the factory paint on the doors and rear quarters. The Turbo donor originally had 5-lug wheels, prompting the installation of a new set of OEM Turbo S center lock wheel carriers, hubs, rotors, calipers, and other parts to accommodate the carbon ceramic center lock conversion. The calipers were repainted white to match the body color. A custom set of staggered 20” front and 21” rear ADV.1 ADV05S Track Spec CS wheels were fitted and color-matched to the car. These wheels are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires with less than 1,000 miles. TechArt-style graphics, emblems, and logos have also been applied, contributing to the distinctive appearance. Additionally, XPEL paint protection film covers the exterior, including exposed carbon fiber components, along with a full track package that covers the entire front clip, headlights, side skirts, rear quarters, and rear bumper. Detailed images are available in the gallery along with a CARFAX report, which indicates damage and an odometer discrepancy.

The Black leather interior is equipped with optional heated and ventilated seats, White instrument dials, and the Burmester High-End Infotainment Package. It showcases TechArt-inspired design elements, encompassing the dashboard, seats, door panels, steering wheel, gear selector, and floor mats. The leather upholstery combines solid Alcantara and starlight Alcantara, accentuated by contrast stitching, all of which were hand-selected by the seller. The factory carbon trim for the dashboard and door panels has also been fitted, along with custom-painted air vents and door handles. Additionally, custom TechArt-style carbon door sills contribute to the unique features.

Power is derived from a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine, driving all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Performance has been upgraded with the inclusion of the Fabspeed 991 Turbo Supersport Street Package which includes the Porsche 991 Turbo Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust with 200-Cell HJS Sport catalytic converters, Deluxe Quad-Style Tips, Sport Headers, BMC F1 Replacement Air Filter, and XperTune Performance Software. According to the seller, these enhancements contribute an additional 83 HP to the overall performance. The most recent service was conducted at Porsche of Warrington, Pennsylvania in April 2022, with the seller accumulating an additional 800 miles on the odometer since then.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and an air pump. The CARFAX report shows a Not Actual Miles (NAM) title issued, however, the car is accompanied by a clean title and the seller confirms the mileage shown on the odometer is accurate.

The seller would like you to know: “I first saw the TechArt GT Street RS during a 2020 trip to Monaco and instantly fell in love.  In the following weeks, I returned to the USA and called TechArt only to learn that the kit was limited to 10 vehicles which had long been spoken for.  Being an avid Porsche collector and customizer for most of my life I contacted a few folks in the industry to see if there were any high-quality “replica” kits available. All roads seem to lead to the same destination, Wicked Motor Works outside of Los Angeles, California.  So I flew out there and met the owner who at the time owned a beautiful white 2014 991 Turbo (with sport chrono package) with just over 11K miles on the clock. The shop had previously built two custom 993 Speedsters for me, so I knew their reputation and quality of work. By the end of the day, we designed the entire car which ultimately took 1 year (and $250K) to complete. This vehicle features an entire TechArt GT Street RS style body which includes new TA front and rear bumpers, a carbon fiber hood, and L&R front fenders. The TA-style parts are hand-made in Wicked’s shop with custom molds.  All the TA-style carbon fiber work is also done at Wicked which includes all the F&R bumper accents, fender louvers, side skirts, fender extensions, rear quarter air scoops, rear wing with working pneumatic lift, and side mirror covers.  The kit was designed for the 991.2 generation so all the OEM lighting and attachments had to be purchased from Porsche and upgraded to the new generation accordingly.  The paintwork on the TA-style parts is magnificent and a perfect match to the factory paint retained on the doors and rear quarters. The Turbo donor came from the factory with 5 lug wheels so we ordered a new OEM set of Turbo S center lock wheel carriers, hubs, rotors, calipers, and other parts needed for the carbon ceramic center lock conversion.  The calipers were painted white to match the body color.  A custom set of staggered 20/21" ADV.1 ADV05S Track Spec CS wheels were ordered and color-matched to the car.  The rims are wrapped in new Michelin pilot sport tires with less than 1,000 miles. Now that we had the look, we wanted the performance to match so we chose the Fabspeed 991 Turbo Supersport Street Package w/Sport cat. The package included Porsche 991 Turbo Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust with 200-Cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters, Deluxe Quad-Style Tips, Sport Headers, BMC F1 Replacement Air Filter, and XperTune Performance Software all of which Fabspeed claims adds about 83HP to the rear wheels.  From the cold start to higher speed driving, the throaty and aggressive performance exhaust note is absolute perfection. The exterior was then finished with carefully mirrored details inspired by the 10 lucky limited production vehicles including the TA-style graphic design, emblems, and logos.  Inspiration for the number 03 was drawn from TechArt’s 3rd kit installed on another white 991 Turbo whose owner and I share similar automotive design preferences.  The white paint and exposed carbon are protected by the XPEL PPF full track package covering the entire front clip, headlights, side skirts, rear quarters, and rear bumper. The exterior looked so insane that it made the black leather interior with silver-painted trim look downright shameful. So I decided to transport the car to one of southern California’s premier interior design and installation centers. We modeled the interior from the TECHART-inspired design which included the dash, seats, door panels, steering wheel, gear selector, and floormats. The leather, solid Alcantara, perforated starlight Alcantara, and contrast stitching were all hand-picked. I purchased the factory carbon trim for the dash and door panels, custom-painted the air vents and door handles, and ordered custom TA-style carbon door sills. The interior was finally worthy of the extensive build. In April 2022, the car was transported to Porsche of Warrington, PA where it was serviced. I have since added about 800 miles to the car driving it occasionally on weekends and for special trips."

PCARMARKET does not declare this as a "No Reserve" sale . I believe we must assume it has a Reserve $ ... ??
We'll have to wait now to see where it goes and then determine rather we are still in the game or not.

No problem but you understand a buyer needs to be sure of all the factors. Unfortunate to have the NOM and showing 4 rather short term owners. You may have to re-list it to create a clearer image of what you're selling... This car is way over the top in mods and alterations. Not necessarily "Bad" but difficult to evaluate. Typically Mods are usually $ down the drain for sellers...We just don't get that back. I see a narrow appeal here, except to right buyer, at the right value. I like it.

@SStone you can work with the RMV and Carfax to get that rectified.

  • SStone (seller) 2 months, 4 weeksago

@Blackburn: The mileage is known. The car has 12,500 miles.
It seems that when I filled out the title I inadvertently checked the box for unknown vs actual mileage.

Interesting... Lots of mods, mileage unknown, unstock at best. could be risky depending on actual sale price.

    Hello nzamani,
Yes, I have contacted Carfax to explain the the situation.
They interviewed me and am waiting for them to get back to me.
As we are close to the end of the auction I can make a sale continent upon a getting the Carfax corrected.

  • nzamani (registered bidder) 2 months, 4 weeksago

@sstone you mentioned that the CARFAX issue will be corrected. Has that been done? Please send some documentation.

Although this aesthetic may not be for everyone, this one speaks to me. However, it does not speak to my budget. I can see where people may not like certain aspects.....sure, I get it. But I can appreciate the intricate detail and level of effort that went into creating such a vehicle. I would be elated to be able to drive this every sunny opportunity I could!!! Best of luck to the seller...and new owner! VERY cool car IMO.

Techart conversions have always been over the top however, their 991.2 GT Street RS is simply a new level.
There were 10 factory kits made and by the time I had even heard about them, all 10 were sold out.
01 is green, 02 is red, 03 is white and so on, but all 10 of the cars have the exact same look. To build a tribute that was "toned down" would defeat the purpose of being able to replicate one of the 10 GT Street RS's in the world. When the "R" comes up for sale it brings over $400K. If an "RS" should ever come to auction I suspect it would sell $600-$700K+. The buyer for his car will be someone who loves and appreciates what Techart has created and what I have done to replicate the TA design. It also doesn't hurt that this car is a fraction of the price and that you can drive it everyday without worrying too much! :-)

@BarryLe I agree! I would love to own this car. But, with all due respect to the owner, the modifications and color decisions made on this car detract from, rather than enhance its value. Paint at least the wheel well surrounds, the front quarter panel vents, the rear quarter panel scoops in body color and wheels in all black to get a reasonably accurate overall market value.

  • BarryLe (registered bidder) 3 monthsago

I own a number of 911’s. To my eye, this body kit is a bit over the top. I love exposed carbon fiber and I love this car but sometimes, too much is too much. I would paint the eyebrows over the four wheel wells in the body color to tone the car down just a bit. The owner has a fortune invested in this build. I don’t see a path to recouping more than 50% of his investment.

@SealofStuttgart: You are correct. Glad to meet someone from the Huntingdon Valley area! I removed the bumper and fender in the parking lot and posted those exact pictures in this auction. There was no serious damage. The bumper and fender were replaced and the car is perfect. Title is clean. More detail was mentioned in my post from yesterday. Hope this rain stops soon!!

Pretty sure I saw this I want to say it was about a year ago it was parked at European antique design in Bryn Athyn all banged up. Was that the incident? I have pictures somewhere on my phone. So this was not a rebuilt title?

    Hello,
This car has a clean title and was involved in one previous minor accident.

In April of 2023 I brought the car to a local car show where it was featured in the custom category. As I was inching out of my parking spot, a car coming from the left (not paying attention) grazed the left corner of front bumper causing damage to fender and bumper cover. It felt like I had been stabbed with a knife. The car was drivable so I was able to get the car back home. Upon removal of the fender and bumper cover I was relieved to learn that the damage was purely cosmetic. There was no damage to the hood, headlight or any internal part behind the fender and bumper cover. That very day I spoke to Wicked and ordered a new bumper and fender. 30 days later I shipped the car back to California and had them professionally installed and the car returned to its showroom condition.

I will post some pictures of the damaged parts as well as the mechanicals to demonstrate no damage to the vehicle itself other than the bumper cover and fender.

Regarding the mileage, I am not sure why carfax is reporting a discrepancy and I am wondering if I mistakenly filled out the title incorrectly and checked the wrong box to report actual miles. The car has 12,500 actual miles and I will call carfax and get this straightened out.
