It is our pleasure to offer this collector-grade 2014 Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition finished in Geyser Grey Metallic. Based on the 991 Carrera S, this special edition commemorates 50 years of the Porsche 911 and was limited to 1,963 units worldwide, a number that represents the year of the 911’s world premiere. Standard features include a Classic interior with Pepita fabric seat inserts, unique trim pieces, Fuchs-style wheels, wide bodywork, and the X51 Power Kit. Marked as #873, this particular example was configured at an original cost of over $137k with options including a 7-speed manual transmission, PASM Sport Suspension, the Bose Surround Sound System, LED headlights, and more. Showing under 1k-miles on the odometer, this 2014 example has been meticulously cared for by two private owners and is now being offered for auction in like-new condition by its seller out of California accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a collection of commemorative accessories.
This example is finished in Geyser Grey Metallic, one of only two unique colors offered on this limited-edition model. The only noted imperfections are some very faint scratches on one of the wheels as depicted in the photo gallery. Unique details on the 50th Anniversary Edition include special badging, chrome exterior trim, and wide bodywork normally reserved for the Carrera 4 model. It also features special 20” Fuchs-inspired wheels finished in matte black with machine-polished centers. A set of brand-new factory-spec Pirelli P-Zero N-rated tires were recently mounted in preparation for sale.
Inside, this model showcases an exclusive "Classic" black full leather interior with Pepita fabric seat inserts and decorative stitching throughout the cabin. Other special details include a limitation placard above the glovebox, brushed aluminum trim, and nostalgic green labeling on the instruments with white pointer needles and silver capped pivot pins. A detailed list of factory options is provided below:
For the 50th Anniversary Edition, the naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine features the X51 Power Kit as standard, providing for an output of 430 HP and 325 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a desirable 7-speed manual transmission, which allows this 991 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in under 4 seconds. This particular example was also optioned with Power Steering Plus and the firmer PASM Sport Suspension. A consistent history of maintenance is shown on CARFAX and the seller reports that a preemptive 20k mile service was recently carried out in preparation for sale. A recent pre-purchase inspection is also provided for reference in the photo gallery.
This sale will include a clean title, the original window sticker, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, owner's manuals, a commemorative hardcover book, an authentic scale model, and branded accessories. With its desirable manual transmission, tasteful factory specifications, and incredibly low mileage, this 911 50th Anniversary Edition is a true collector's item.

@jasinsf Congratulations!
@jasinsf You certainly put up a good fight and won the prize. I strongly suspect that in the not to distant future that the 2014 50th will be going up in value. Porsche is not building a 3.8 na again. Along with all of the special features and the analog feel, this is a keeper.
Had to stop somewhere but still hard to believe it came down to 250 bucks.
Enjoy in good health--it's an awesome car!
There's a sucker in every auction...if you look around and don't see one, you're it! :) Seriously, though, this car is a beauty and I'm blessed and privileged to be the new owner.
Thank you all. Stay healthy.

Good morning everyone,
We are down to the final hours of the bidding. I am here to answer any questions and I am very confident that someone will be taking home this incredible 911 50th Anniversary Edition today.
@HCMTEH Yes, these are the same spec'd tires that the factory uses. "N" nurburging rated. Ribbed in the front and not in the back.
There was one of these st the Carlisle swap meet this weekend. Pictures do not do it justice. These variants are beautiful. GLWA
Are these the new tires spec’d the same as from the factory? In other words, did the factory tires have the rib on the front tires and not on the back tires?
Bid in the amount of $130,000
If only it had a ducktail and 8-ball knob instead of the flimsy stock plastic shifter.
Bid in the amount of $129,000
@usedmachinetoolboy Yes, I have wondered why tire manufacturers will put a rib on the sidewall of the front tire of that same model tire and not the back tire? It is there to protect the wheel from curb rash but the rear wheel usually is the one to get curbed. And usually it is the right rear wheel that gets curbed the most.
Also, with a stiffer sidewall on the tire, that will help with traction with weight transfer from side to side. So I can see with a Porsche that this can help the front/ rear weight transfer and traction in handling in the turns on a road course.
@hitecauto Okay, now I see the rears are a different profile. I have a 997.2 911S with Michilen Pilots and they are all the same profile.
@usedmachinetoolboy Hi usedmachinetoolboy, Thank you for your bid and comments.
I am not sure as to what specifically that you are seeing with the tires. The front side walls are designed a bit differently from the rears. Maybe it is the lighting?
All four tires were purchased this month, mounted and balanced and have been on the car in our showroom since that time.
@usedmachinetoolboy Also photo 80 and 81
@usedmachinetoolboy , Photo #20 shows a different tire.
@hitecauto Question, you mention - "A set of brand-new factory-spec Pirelli P-Zero N-rated tires were recently mounted in preparation for sale" I noticed one tire looks different in your photos. Can you explain?

@HelpMeHelpU you should bid on this.
Drive around the block this weekend to get mileage to 991 miles. That would be icing on the cake. Beautiful ride.
Back in January 2019, I had a chance to buy this car from its original owner in Texas, but foolishly passed because I didn't want a glass sunroof. I've kicked myself many time for that decision. This car is gorgeous and will bring all the money - as it should.
I had my heart on a 2020 Targa manual and while patiently waiting for one to come available I saw #174 with 5,500 come up on PCAR. I’ve had it for a year and absolutely love it. I have no reason to continue to pursue a new Targa.
