The Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition is a specially appointed version of the second-generation Cayenne featuring Platinum Silver Metallic painted accents, Power Steering Plus, ParkAssist, the Convenience Package, and Bose Surround Sound System as standard. This 2014 Diesel example comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over a Black interior and was additionally optioned with front seat heating and ventilation, the Comfort Lighting Package, Lane Change Assist (LCA), a heated multifunction steering wheel, Porsche Entry & Drive, and more. It was acquired by the seller as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche of North Houston in 2015 and is now being offered for auction out of Texas while showing approximately 99k miles on the odometer.
This special edition Cayenne is distinguished by Platinum Silver Metallic painted accents on the front air intake grilles, window moldings, rear spoiler, and lower tailgate trim. It comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and features Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) as part of the Convenience Package. Other equipment includes LED daytime running lights and taillights, a power-operated tailgate, power-operated and heated mirrors, a rear window wiper, “Diesel” badges on the front fenders, an optional rear trailer hitch, and 19” Cayenne Design II wheels dressed in new Michelin Latitude tires (2023). The seller notes some chips on the right side of the tailgate hatch, some clearcoat is peeling on the front bumper, and rock chips are present on the hood and windshield. The Platinum Edition comes standard with the Bose Surround Sound System, ParkAssist front & rear, Power Steering Plus, and the Convenience Package which includes Porsche Communication Management (PCM), Driver Memory Package, a moonroof, and auto-dimming mirrors. The Black interior of this Cayenne is also optioned with heated and ventilated 14-way Power Seats, Porsche Entry & Drive, a heated multifunction steering wheel, the Comfort Lighting Package, Lane Change Assist (LCA), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
This Cayenne is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine producing up to 240 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque. An 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission sends power through an active all-wheel-drive system with a self-locking center differential. The seller notes the EGR valve was replaced in August 2022 and a routine service and inspection was most recently completed by Porsche of North Houston in July 2023. The seller adds that an extended emissions warranty remains in effect until March 2024.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, all-weather Porsche floor mats, a Porsche windshield sunshade, service records, and a clean title.

@HankDG yes, lift handle on side of seat cushion…backrest drops down and locks.
@HankDG Never-mind, I was able to zoom on a few of the pics, pretty sure the black on black is showing the newer style rear seat fold ffor max space. Decisions :)
When the rear seats are folded down, do you lift the base forward like the old models like my 09, or do they lay flat. It's the difference between me being able to lay down or not in a Cayenne :)

@Kish1- couldn’t agree more. Bought my 1st Porsche ( totally base model 914) in 1973. Had an ‘08 Cayenne Turbo that was my daily driver for 100,000 miles. My wife and I loved it. But, our 2015 Diesel- wow! It does everything effortlessly. These cars have been vastly under appreciated. Looks like the secret is starting to get out!
My stepson spent 8 years in the Marine Corps HMLA-369. Love it when our sons step up to be men. I know you’re proud!

This second generation 2014 Cayenne Diesel is one of the best cars we have ever owned. We have a 40+ year history of Porsche ownership. The sale of this Cayenne is required to make room for a new Porsche addition to our collection. When we purchased this Cayenne, we traded a first gen 2008 Cayenne GTS ( also purchased from Porsche of North Houston). A very sporty SUV, however totally outclassed by this second generation Cayenne . During our 8+ year ownership, which it was shared between my wife and me as our daily driver. We made only one road trip, We attended our Son's wedding at Point Loma Naval air base in San Diego... a 2500 mile round-trip from our home in Texas. Average speed 85 mph. Average fuel consumption 31mpg. We fell in love with this Cayenne!
By the way, It has never been driven off-road.
