An upscale, sport-focused version of the second-generation Porsche Cayenne, the GTS model is equipped with a 420-horsepower 4.8-liter V8 engine, an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission, lowered PASM air suspension, a sport exhaust system, the SportDesign Package, and a host of driver amenities as standard. This 2014 example is finished in rare Peridot Metallic paint over a Black leather and Alcantara interior. It comes equipped with optional heated and ventilated 14-way power seats, a panoramic roof system, Porsche Entry & Drive, Adaptive Cruise Control with Porsche Active Safe (PAS), ParkAssist, a heated multifunction steering wheel, and 21” Cayenne SportEdition wheels in black. The car was sought out by the seller for its unique specification and was acquired from the previous owner, a PCA member, just over 3 years ago. Showing approximately 75k miles on the odometer, this Cayenne GTS is now being offered for auction out of Wisconsin.
The GTS model comes standard with the SportDesign Package, adding a revised front and rear fascia, side skirts, wheel arch extensions, and a split-wing roof spoiler. This example is finished in Peridot Metallic, an extremely rare color associated with the 987.2 Cayman R. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights in black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), LED taillights and daytime running lights, gloss black exterior trim, optional black roof rails, a panoramic roof system, rain-sensing wipers, a power tailgate, parking sensors, a rearview camera, quad tailpipes in black, red brake calipers, and optional 21” Cayenne SportEdition wheels. The seller states that a deer struck the vehicle in December 2024, and the passenger-side doors were replaced with new OEM parts. The associated insurance claim resulted in minor damage to the right side reported on CARFAX in January 2025. The exterior is said to be in excellent overall condition, apart from a scratch on the rear bumper and a very small ding on a rear wheel arch. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather and Alcantara upholstery accented by brushed aluminum trim. Amenities include optional heated and ventilated 14-way power front seats, a heated multifunction leather steering wheel, automatic 2-zone climate control, Porsche Entry & Drive, Adaptive Cruise Control with Porsche Active Safe (PAS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) with Lane Change Assist (LCA), and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. An aftermarket Rennline MagSafe phone charger has been installed and is easily removable.
Featuring dry-sump lubrication, direct fuel injection, and VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, the naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 engine is rated at 420 HP and 380 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission sends power through an active all-wheel-drive system with a locking center differential. The GTS model comes standard with lowered PASM air suspension, a sport exhaust system, and 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake calipers with ventilated rotors. The seller indicates there are no outstanding service items to be addressed.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for looking at my Cayenne GTS. The color is what attracted me - I love this car, but I thought I would be able to bring myself to making it into a tow vehicle, a dog carrier, a mountain-bike carrier, etc. I have instead babied it; no dogs or bikes, or tow hitches have ever touched this car. I have too many cars to keep them all, and have decided to part with this one as another project is right around the corner. I've owned this car for 3 years, and it has spent most of its life in a heated garage. I'm hoping it will find a new owner who loves the Peridot Green Metallic as much as I do.”

@RalphManfrediDC Thank you, Ralph! Great to hear from you. I was mistaken, though, I thought you'd owned the car from new, it sounds like that was incorrect. I apologize for the error.
Hello bidders
I was the prior owner of this vehicle for a little over 4 years
I had all the services performed on schedule including brakes , oil and filters, drain cleaning air filter replacement etc. Additionally I had Danbury Porsche replace the transfer as part of a Porsche complimentary warranty program.
This car never had an issue and is truly a blast to drive
I’m sure you will be very pleased with her as the current owner is meticulous in his maintenance of I this GTS as well

Thank you to the bidders. I don't want to sound corny, but I definitely think this car will be easy to love.

@ISeaBlue Then you know I speak the truth about the interior of Porsches, don't you? You are also saying exactly what I said when I went looking for this car - I want the newest one with the naturally aspirated V8. I wish the videos did justice to the sound of this motor, both from inside and outside the car. It sounds great in normal mode, and even better in Sport mode. For those that don't know - there are two ways to change the exhaust note. One just opens the baffles and makes the sound better (center bottom of image 39). That's the button that looks like the exhaust. If you instead put the car in Sport Mode, it not only changes the exhaust sound, it also holds each gear a little longer as you accelerate so you get to hear the 'high notes' for a little longer. This also serves to have the engine closer to the "power band" if you are driving spiritedly. That said, this V8 has excellent grunt from any rpm, really.
@JimHawkins hi Jim, We have 4 Porsches now, but would kind of like to replace my 2014 Cayenne GTS. I’ve driven ours to close to 200k miles. I love the fact that 2014 is still the V8 naturally aspirated 🏁 We will definitely keep a eye on your post. Cheers from California, a fellow Porsche lover
@ISeaBlue This car has never been smoked in, not even once. When you get in the car, it looks brand new. Porsche interiors are spectacular that way. There are no worn touch-points, no funny smells, nothing.
Is this a non-smokers car?

@luis.seneriz Thank you for the bid and questions. The transfer case has been replaced, by Porsche.
Same comment as a previous commenter, underneath rust looks bad. Car has always been in cold climates. Anyway how really bad is the rust? I have a 2006 Volvo Ocean Race V8 now with 180,000 miles that looks pristine underneath. Yes, I bought it here. Finally has the transfer case been replaced? I was looking for a Cayenne GTS when I got the Volvo and probably will eventually get one anyway. Happy 4th of July.

@futureman Good morning and Happy Independence Day if you're in America. I raised the car and looked more carefully underneath and have uploaded some photos. Some settings on my computer seem to have down-sized the photos, I might be able to upload higher resolution if needed. I also have a video to share but the self-service page for the listing doesn't allow videos to be uploaded so that may need to wait for @pcarmarket staff.
The rust situation is not bad. There is surface rust in some spots, but no corrosion into the metal. The video shows that well, hopefully the photos also convey a sense of that.

Hello - to be honest, I was a little surprised when I looked at the pictures, so I understand your concern. I am finishing a long stretch on call tomorrow morning, and hope to be able to get it up in the air and look closely at those areas. I will take more and better pictures as well, and give a report here.
I know pictures are somewhat not telling of the whole story, but the underside of this vehicle looks to be eaten alive with rust. Could you please elaborate on the extent of the rust, i.e. about to collapse, not much...just surface rust, or something in between?
I reviewed the CarFax adn have a couple of comments that may helps someone.
- The first owner moved the car's ownership to an LLC that he has in Montana which apparently is a way for people to lower their registration fee burden. It was the same person, but sold it to himself. When I bought it, it was registered in Montana.
- The oil change at the Porsche Dealership in Madison, WI (most recent oil change) is not listed on the CarFax. I'll look for that documentation and post images if I can find it. Kelly's Automotive is a local guy who was a certified Porsche Mechanic / German car specialist in a big city and moved to our small town for quality-of-life reasons.
That's an awesome color! Very cool Cayenne GTS!
Hello and welcome to my auction. First, just to get this out of the way, my name isn't Jim Hawkins. He was the young boy in the Treasure Island novel. I signed up for PCarMarket a while back after reading that book and used that name for fun. My name is Alex Wade, MD, I am a small-town surgeon in rural Wisconsin. I am a PCA member. I have a Cayman S set up for track use. I had purchased this vehicle about 6 months after placing an ad in the PCA magazine hoping someone had this exact vehicle, year and color and everything. I got a call 6 months later from a PCA member who is a chiropractor on the East Coast and he was hoping to make a win/win sale as he was downsizing to a smaller car to get better fuel economy. Btw, this car gets 24-27 mpg on the hiway. I bought the car sight-unseen and had it shipped. I had dreams of placing a tow hitch to hold my bike rack, and to allow me to pull my race car to the track. I've done none of that, and the dogs have never ridden in the car either. I love this car, and although I don't drive it daily, I do take it out on sunny days and cruise around our curvy roads. I have come to accept that this car is more special than utilitarian, and I am hoping to find someone who sees this color and thinks it would be perfect for them. I'll try to answer any questions you have. Maintenance has been kept up-to-date and no major issues with the car. A deer ran out of the woods the day after Christmas and hit the passenger front door. Only one door was replaced, as well as the headlight which failed the body shops adjustment test after the rest of the repairs. Please ask any questions and bid with confidence.
