I don't understand why this car sold for such a low price. There just are not many 981 Cayman Ss with PTV and options as this car had. Search the market--they are next to impossible to find. Search the private market...or Porsche's National Pre-Owned database...and you won't find many like this one...and those you do will have asking prices--I get it, those are asking prices--mostly $15k higher than this selling price. Very strange.

As the auction draws to a close, I realize there may be questions that come up and, as I will be at work through the time of the close of the auction, I may not be able to respond as quickly as I otherwise would. I do not want to appear inattentive you any questions or comments, and therefore want to let you all know ahead of time the reason. Please know that the car has been very well taken care of and is presented as well as I could in the pictures. I purchased as I had always admired and respected the car and its reputation - a reputation that is well deserved - and also researched for quite a while until I came across one that had all the features an enthusiast driver would want. I am meticulous owner who kept this car clean, garaged and only drove the car for pleasure. I realize that my lifestyle (and family commitments) will not allow me to actually get everything out of this car that it deserves, but hope among you is an enthusiast owner who will.
