Marking the final model year of the first-generation Audi R8, this 2015 Audi R8 Quattro Spyder comes finished in Daytona Gray Pearl and is equipped with a 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine paired with a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. Of the 98 Audi R8 Spyders sold in the United States for the model year, this example is said to be one of only 3 featuring the optional Diamond Stitched Full Leather Package with contrast stitching. The car was also optioned with Carbon Fiber Sigma trim, Laser Red brake calipers, a rearview camera system, illuminated aluminum door sills, and the Bang & Olufsen Sound System. It was acquired by the current owner in December 2021 who has added approximately 1,600 miles since. This rare Audi R8 Spyder is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing just over 12k miles on the odometer.
This R8 is finished in Daytona Gray Pearl with a black convertible top and optional Laser Red painted brake calipers. Features include a vented engine cover, an automatic rear spoiler, LED headlamps and taillights, side air intakes, an aluminum-trimmed windscreen frame, an aluminum fuel filler cap, and integrated exhaust outlets with polished tailpipe finishers. The car rides on factory 19” double-spoke wheels mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. The seller notes two very small imperfections are present and clear paint protection film has been applied throughout the exterior. The black interior features the optional Diamond Stitched Full Leather Package with silver contrast stitching and Carbon Fiber Sigma trim pieces. Other options include illuminated stainless-steel door sills, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, the Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and an Audi MMi touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. The car is also equipped with a three-spoke multifunction sport steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles, heated and power-adjustable sports seats, automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and an aluminum R8-branded gear selector.
The naturally aspirated 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine produces up to 430 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque. All wheels are driven by way of a 7-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system with a limited-slip rear differential. Standard performance features include double-wishbone suspension with Audi Magnetic Ride adaptive dampers, hydraulic speed-sensitive power steering, and floating cross-drilled & scalloped brake discs at each corner. The seller indicates a new high-performance lifetime battery was installed in May 2023 and the fluids & filters have been changed during their ownership.
