This 2015 Audi is among the final production units of the original R8 and features a hand-built 5.2-liter V10 engine, an S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission, and an advanced lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber body. This example is finished in Daytona Gray Pearl over a Black and Red interior, featuring 19” Forged Aluminum Design wheels, Laser Red painted brake calipers, the Full Leather Package, and Carbon Fiber Sigma interior inlays. This meticulously maintained R8 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York showing approximately 12k miles on the odometer.
This R8 is finished in Daytona Gray Pearl (6Y) with optional Laser Red painted brake calipers and 19” 5 Double Spoke Forged Aluminum Design wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Other equipment includes a power rear spoiler, side air intakes, and a dual stainless-steel exhaust. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior sports the optional Full Leather Package with dual-tone black and red upholstery. Additional options include Carbon Fiber Sigma inlays, contrast stitching in Red, a radio with Audi Music Interface, and aluminum illuminated door sills. @MotorEnvy There has been no modifications done on this vehicle. The shocks do not leak. The vehicle is mechanically 100%. Everything is in proper working order. It has always been garaged. The car is like a new car and drives as it should.
Does the vehicle have it's original magnetic suspension and if so are any of the shocks leaking? Also, how is the ride? Also is the air conditioning functioning properly? These are the two most common issues with these cars.
@Swindom I am not sure the data code as I am out of the office right now but I can tell you the tires were replaced recently and are in excellent condition.

@sl8r - It is very normal for those services to have been performed. Service intervals are based on a combination of mileage (usage) and time. High performance cars will typically have their maintenance performed on a time schedule rather than usage because they are not typically daily drivers. These cars are built to high precision with very tight tolerances so fluids, oils, filters and rubber will degrade over time without use and need to be checked, flushed and possibly replaced simply due to the passage of time to avoid unnecessary wear on the components. I have '16 Porsche Targa 4 GTS that just had its 50K mile service and only has 30K miles. Having said that, this car should be driven more, but that's just because its awesome.
@sl8r I cannot tell you what is normal or not normal but I can tell you that I would much prefer to purchase a vehicle that was overmainteanced and serviced versus a car that hasnt been in for normal mainteance/service. Sometimes when cars are older and driven much less, they will be serviced due to TIME rather then MILES.

Just curious… is it normal for a car with 12,000 miles to have had the 15K and 35K services performed as stated in the CarFax?

I live in Oyster Bay and saw this R8 driving around last week for what I assume was a photo shoot. Drop dead gorgeous spec! An absolute head-turner color combo. I've owned my '09 R8 since 2015 and love the car! GLWS

She drives Brand New. No stories. Pictures certainly don't do this vehicle justice by any means. Very rare find in this awesome color combo with this exceptionally low mileage.
