For the last production year of the first-generation R8, Audi released the Carbon Edition, featuring a styling package inspired by the R8 GT as well as model-specific titanium-finished 19” split-spoke wheels. This 2015 V10-equipped Spyder was ordered in Panther Black Crystal Effect over a black Nappa leather interior and was first titled in Texas before spending time in Georgia and eventually Alabama. It comes optioned with the Black Optics exterior package, a Sport exhaust system with black tips, and the full Diamond Stitched interior leather package. It is currently fitted with an aftermarket black mesh grille and rides on OEM Lamborghini Gallardo bronze-finished wheels, and the original wheels are said to accompany the sale along with a set of BC Racing coilovers, a KW suspension module, a carbon fiber front lip, and the original grille. With just over 16k miles on the odometer, this R8 V10 Spyder Carbon Edition is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Alabama.

The exterior is finished in Panther Black Crystal Effect (LZ9Z) with a black power-operated convertible soft top. The Carbon Edition includes carbon fiber mirror caps with integrated LED turn signals, a carbon fiber front spoiler, and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. The optional Black Optics Package also provides black exhaust tips, black trim, and a black front grille. Other exterior features include full LED headlights, LED taillights, an aluminum fuel cap, V10 fender badges, an aluminum windscreen surround, silver carbon ceramic brake calipers, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual vented fairings behind the cabin. The 19” bronze OEM Lamborghini Gallardo wheels are mounted with General G-Max tires from 2017, and the original model-specific 19” wheels are said to be included with the sale in their original Michelin tires. The front end is preserved under clear paint protection film and the seller notes the car remains entirely stock apart from its grille, wheels, and removable films. The interior is upholstered in black Nappa leather with silver contrast stitching and 12-way heated sport seats with diamond-stitched centers and matching door panels. Carbon Sigma trim surrounds the driver’s area, covering the door handles, center console, and illuminated door sills. Amenities include Audi Navigation Plus including MMI logic, Audi music interface with iPod cable, the Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and a premium 12-speaker 465-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Surrounded by carbon fiber, the 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 is factory rated at 550 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through an S-Tronic 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system, launching the R8 from 0-60 MPH in just 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 196 MPH. Performance features include a magnetic suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a sport exhaust system. The sale will include upgraded BC Racing coilovers and a KW suspension module. The seller states a full service was completed at Audi Marietta in October of 2021.

This sale will include the original model-specific 19" split-spoke wheels and Michelin tires, the original front grille, a set of BC Racing coilovers, KW suspension module, an extra carbon fiber front lip, a set of black Audi emblems, a car cover, owner's manuals, two keys, and a clean title.
