In addition to luxurious amenities and advanced technology, the B6 features a unique aerodynamic package, an Alpina-tuned suspension, an Akropovic titanium exhaust system, and a special hand-built version of BMW’s 4.4L twin-turbocharged N63 V8 engine that produces over 530 HP. This B6 is finished in the exclusive color of Alpina Blue II Metallic (X06) with high-gloss Shadowline trim. Some distinctive exterior features of the B6 include a carbon-fiber front spoiler with Alpina lettering and integrated brake ducts, a unique rear diffuser with quad exhaust tips, and a signature rear trunk lid spoiler. Other details include adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lights, integrated LED turn signals in the mirrors, chrome fender vents, and chrome door handle trim. The seller reports some minor pitting behind the front wheels, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The Alpina hand-built 4.4L twin-turbocharged engine generates as much as 533 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through an Alpina-tuned 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The B6 reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 4.4 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Compared with the standard BMW engine, this Alpina V8 features upgraded 44mm Honeywell turbochargers with modified exhaust turbines, high-performance Mahle pistons, revised engine programming, and a titanium exhaust system manufactured by Akrapovic with electronically controlled bypass valves. The suspension was also modified by Alpina with stiffened spring rates, a lowered ride height, upgraded traction and stability control protocols, electronically adjustable dampers, and active roll stabilization with Alpina-specific software. Maintenance history includes service at multiple authorized BMW dealerships including recent oil service, brake fluid, and coolant flush. A maintenance inspection was performed by Rallye BMW in March of 2021.
