Launched for the 2015 model year, the C7-generation Corvette Z06 features a supercharged LT4 V8 engine, lightweight carbon fiber body pieces, an aggressive aerodynamic package, magnesium-framed bucket seats, Brembo brakes, and an electronic limited-slip differential. This launch-year Z06 is one of 1,673 Convertible versions produced in 2015 and only 582 to have been equipped with the optional 7-speed manual transmission. It comes finished in Laguna Blue Metallic Tintcoat and is optioned with Pearl-Nickel Split-Spoke wheels, the 2LZ black interior trim package, and dual-mode performance exhaust. Cared for by two owners and with just under 7k miles driven from new, this Corvette Z06 is now being offered for auction out of North Carolina.
This Z06 is reportedly one of only 258 Convertibles to have been finished in Laguna Blue Metallic Tintcoat during the 2015 model year. It wears Carbon Flash Metallic Trim and optional Pearl-Nickel Split-Spoke wheels. Compared to a standard C7 Corvette, the Z06 version includes a unique carbon fiber hood and front splitter as well as larger front fender vents, a larger rear wing, and air blades over the rear fender inlets. The seller states a full paint correction has been completed followed by an application of ceramic/graphene coating. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2017 showing approximately 90% tread remaining. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Jet Black interior includes optional power-adjustable GT bucket seats with heating and ventilation as well as a color heads-up display, a 10-speaker Bose Surround Sound System, and a flat-bottom three-spoke leather steering wheel.
The 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine is paired with a 1.7-liter Eaton supercharger for an output of up to 650 HP. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 7-speed manual transmission with rev-matching technology and an electronic limited-slip differential. The Z06 comes standard with aluminum Brembo brakes and two-piece rotors as well as Performance Traction Management and double-wishbone suspension with Magnetic Ride Control dampers. This example also features an optional dual-mode performance exhaust. The seller notes the most recent oil service was completed in June 2022.
