Up for auction is this low-mileage 2015 Porsche 991 Carrera Coupe presented in a classic combination of Guards Red over Luxor Beige.  Highlighting a desirable 7-speed manual transmission, must-have factory options and a clean history of ownership, this example makes the perfect all-around sports car.  Having spent nearly its entire life with its current owner in Florida, this immaculate 2015 Carrera is now being offered for auction showing approximately 12k miles on the odometer out of Alachua, FL.

This Carrera is finished in lustrous Guards Red.  Having always been garage-kept, the paint on this car is stated by the seller to be in excellent condition with virtually no wear present.  Detailed images depicting the condition of the exterior are provided in the photo gallery.  The exterior of this 991 remains completely stock aside from two easily-removable decal stickers that are placed on both front fenders.  This 991 rides on original 19" alloy wheels which come wrapped in Goodyear tires that are dated from 2015.

This Carrera is appointed with a Luxor Beige interior that is said to remain in outstanding condition.  A few small driver-centric modifications have been added including silver trimming around the gauges, silver pedal covers, and a black leather-painted steering wheel (removable).  Configured with practicality in mind, this Carrera offers all the creature comforts that can be expected from a modern-day sports car.  Commanding an original sticker price of over $91k, this example boasts the following factory options:

  • Luggage Net in Passenger Footwell
  • Smoking Package
  • Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
  • Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof
  • Power Sport Seats (14-way) with Memory Package
  • Premium Package
  • Ornamental Porsche Crest

All gauges, electrical systems and accessories are reported to be fully functional.

This Carrera is equipped with a 3.4-liter flat six engine that puts out 350 HP to the rear wheels by way of a highly desirable 7-speed manual transmission.  Utilizing this powertrain, this Carrera achieves 0-60 in about 4.8 seconds while reaching top speeds north of 170mph.  Included records indicate that this 991 has been kept up-to-date on all scheduled maintenance.  An inspection was carried out earlier this month by Porsche of Ocala in preparation for a new owner and is stated to be in excellent driving condition.

The sale of the 991 will include all original books and documentation, two sets of keys and comprehensive service records.  This vehicle is also accompanied by a clean Carfax report and a clear title.  As Porsche strays further from its analog roots, naturally-aspirated stick-shift cars like these are becoming increasingly rare.  If you have been in the market for a truly well-presented 7-speed 991, look no further.

@eurocol I mean it’s a reserve auction, might as well make a bid that may come close to sticking.

On the one hand, you never get a second chance to make a first impression and Porsche people are pretty persnickety, as evidenced by 2/3rds of this auction's comments being sticker related.

On the other hand, at least your auction is getting some traffic / comments. To use another cliche... Bad press is better than no press. I'm not in the market for a 991, so wouldn't have looked at this auction were it not for the curious yellow shields. ???

    GLWA!

Unfortunately the sticker is generating more comments than your beautiful car. Even more unfortunate is that I'm chiming in with my 2¢s as well.

For me it is the "Ferrari Yellow" background that makes the sticker notable. Ferrari has specified "Yellow Rose | RGB: (255, 242, 0) | (#FFF200)" as "their" yellow. While I can't use a color picker site on the image, it sure looks like Yellow Rose to me...

@momodou1978 please do you have the other options that are included in the Premium package?

  • Sgtdevildog (registered bidder) 4 years, 3 monthsago

@GT3DON4007 you do realize it’s not a Ferrari sticker right? Take a closer look. Do you know what Stuttgart means. It means Stutengarten which when you translate that it means stallion garden. Hence the stallion. The same stallion that is on that sticker is on your Porsche crest. Let’s be a little more educated before making comments like that. Don’t get me wrong that’s not my style either but it’s also not my car. Just my 2¢

    @GT3DON4007 not a Ferrari sticker.

@momodou1978 you have a beautiful 911 for sale. I hope you’re selling this one to put a different 911 in your stable. Everyone who loves Porsche and drives any generation of 911 gets hooked on the spirit of theses racing cars that have everyday drivability. The stickers whatever, they are little Porsche horses and are not Ferrari design. Tell all the downers that the mane, tail, and leg position are different than the Ferrari design. Looking at the build of your 911, what else came with the Premium package design with the 14 way seats for this model?
Good luck on the sale. Just because it’s not a vintage, air cooled, limited production model doesn’t mean it won’t be a blast screaming down the road in a RED Porsche 911.

Its a beautiful one owner, clean carfax, manual transmission car.... Whoever wins will be lucky to have it and can pull the decals off in 2 seconds if they wish. Good luck with the auction!

@momodou1978 For the record, and although I realize your reply may not have had me in mind, I made no reference to Ferrari. My comment was intended to help you as the stickers and their placement are unusual and their presence will turn off many of your potential buyers. I offer these comments in good faith and solely to help a fellow Porsche owner and enthusiast, as I have bought and sold numerous pcars over the past 20+ years and have a good sense as to the market and what appeals to it. Happy new year and GLWA.

Man, talk about picking nits!!: Buy the car, remove the stickers and move on with yourself, otherwise refrain from typing. OP Good Luck with Auction! Very nice car!

@GT3DON4007 To whom it may concern, If you don't appreciate the two emblems on my Carrera, of the Stuttgart Dancing Horse, you should study the history of the Porsche Logo. I have included an attachment with this email which describes the history of said logo.

Look closely, and you will see that the word Porsche appears on the aforementioned emblems, not Ferrari. Plus, the emblems can easily be removed. It is a moot issue, and should not be worthy of caustic comments by anyone who is attempting to find fault with an otherwise flawless Carrera. I can't imagine how anyone can not see the Stuttgart Dancing Horse in the Porsche logo!

The Ferrari sticker is a huge turn off. Marketing correctly is 90% of the battle. Word to the wise, remove the Ferrari designations.

Just a friendly tip for the seller: remove the stickers and submit new photos. The stickers will not help you.
