The 991 generation Porsche 911 GT3 was introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show featuring a new 3.8-liter flat-six engine that revs up to 9,000 rpm along with a dual-clutch PDK gearbox and rear-wheel steering.  This 2015 example is finished in White over a Black leather and Alcantara interior and optioned with exclusive Guards Red seatbelts as well as the Front Axle Lift System, Sound Package Plus, LED headlights, and more. The car received a brand-new engine from Porsche under warranty in 2019 and was acquired by the current owner in June 2022. Showing approximately 46k miles on the odometer, this GT3 is now being offered for auction out of Texas while covered under an extended engine warranty and Porsche Platinum Protection Plan.

This 991 is finished in White and features GT3 specific-bodywork including bumpers with additional air vents, a front spoiler, side skirts, dual center-exit exhaust pipes, and a fixed rear wing mounted on the engine cover. Optional LED headlights are equipped and the car rides on factory 20” GT3 forged alloy center-lock wheels in Black, complemented by red-painted brake calipers. These wheels come mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires showing date codes from 2020 in the front and 2022 in the rear. The seller notes StarGuard paint protection is applied to the exterior, and the front bumper and spoiler were replaced under their ownership, and some chips are present on the driver’s side mirror housing. The car was also subjected to some track use. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The Black leather and Alcantara interior is accented by silver deviated stitching, polished Aluminum trim, and optional seatbelts in Guards Red. The car was also optioned with Sound Package Plus, the Light Design Package, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, a 24-gallon fuel tank, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a navigation module. Standard features include a three-spoke Sport steering wheel in Alcantara, a full Alcantara headliner, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and Bluetooth wireless phone connectivity. The seller notes a pair of WeatherTech all-season rubber mats have been installed in place of the original black carpet mats.

The 991 GT3 derives up to 475 HP and 325 lb.-ft of torque from a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine featuring titanium connecting rods and forged pistons. Power is directed to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission that provides acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3.5 seconds. Standard performance equipment includes rear-axle steering, an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The seller notes the engine was replaced per a manufacturer recall under warranty by Porsche North Houston in 2019 at 25,415 miles and an extended warranty was issued for the next 10 years and 100,000 miles. Additionally, a Porsche Platinum Protection Plan is effective until May 2026 and is transferrable to the next owner.

This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, a window sticker, service documentation, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction.  I have owned the car for 2 years.  All maintenance is up to date. The car has been well maintained with new rear tires installed in November 2022.  The engine was replaced in 2019 at 25,415 miles with a Porsche warranty for 10 years or 100,00 miles.  Porsche Platinum Protection Plan is effective until May 2026 and is transferrable to the next owner.  The car was lightly tracked by Current Owner who is aware from maintenance records that Owner 4 also tracked the car.  The car has a strong engine with no drive-train issues.  Used by the Current Owner as a daily driving car.  Except for the original purchase in Michigan and sale by Owner 1 in Dallas, the car was kept in Houston, Texas by all owners.”

Porsche Platinum Protection Plan covers car in event of mechanical failure for 60 months. Other coverage is Porsche Tire and Wheel which covers repairs and/or replaces tires and wheels due to damage from road hazard for 60 months. There is Protective Paint Film on front hood & sides of car. No scratches or dings that don't show up in the photos. Only known repair to car body was recent replacement of entire front bumper with part from Porsche dealer, which was installed and painted by State Farm insurance approved repair shop.

  • Cayman40 (registered bidder) 10 months, 2 weeksago

Are all of the items listed under Platinum and the two Al A Carte items circled, included in the Porsche Platinum Protection Plan mentioned?
Is there Protective Paint Film on the car? Are there scratches and dings that don't show up in the photos? Have there been any areas on the body that were repaired and/or repainted?

  • tfjonesiii (seller) 10 months, 2 weeksago

Per stickers on inside of engine & frunk hoods, original engine was F series. I am unable to see the engine block to determine what series is replacement engine which was installed in October 2019.

  • Drock905 (registered bidder) 10 months, 2 weeksago

Ok guys like Paul Harvey here is the rest of the story. I saw this car today and Thomas es so nice he let me drive the car. Drives good I even went on thf highway with it if you have the sport exhaust off and the pdk sport is an excellent behave car that you can cruise around in it doing 40 miles per hour in fifth gear no issues no drone comfortable enough to drive around for long trips. Since I’m a big guy I wanted to check
How comfortable the seats were and these are great I can’t fit comfortably on the hard back sport seats. Now if you turn on the pdk sport and the sport exhaust that’s when the fun begins the engine is strong. I stepped on it a couple of times is all there. Good thing about the car is that it has the 23 gallon tank so you can take it on long road trips or track it for a while. Car has been track there are no questions about this if I buy it the first thing I’ll be doing it’s removing the front bumper and cleaning up the radiators. The car needs some detailing depending how good you want it to look. The brakes squeak Thomas k told me the brake pads are ferrodos they would do that the front rotors are slotted the back ones are factory. I spoke with porsche north here in Houston the engine is under full warranty until February 2, 2025 as this is the day the car was put into service. Porsche north couldn’t answer the question about the porsche platinum warranty and Thomas has just provided that for us. Anyway I’m my opinion this car is better than average we all know how thf guys drive these cars, whoever having driven my 650 horsepower manual turbo and my 2750 lbs manual early 996 I personally can’t see how this car it’s much funnier to drive than my two current cars I may still buy it at the right price

  • Towski 10 months, 2 weeksago

Apologies if I missed it, but what caused the flooding in the driver footwell? And do I read correctly that the impacted electronic parts were dried, cleaned and reinstalled rather than replaced? Thank you

My understanding was that 10 year engine warranty began at the original sale date not at the engine replacement date?

    Found at: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-gt3rs-gt2rs-and-911r/1005204-991-1-gt3-cog-our-meeting-with-pcna-pag-plus-porsches-official-announcement.html

    Official Announcement from Porsche:
"Porsche will extend the warranty on the engine of all 991.1 generation GT3 vehicles in all markets with respect to failure modes related to this issue. The extension will provide coverage for 10 years from the original in-service date, or 120,000 total vehicle miles, whichever occurs first. (The base bumper-to-bumper warranty remains unchanged at 4 years or 50,000 miles for the US, as do all other warranty terms and conditions.) The warranty extension is fully transferable to any future owner. All US owners will be informed in writing and the change will be applied and processed with no additional owner action required. If a vehicle shows the described failure patterns (e.g.,misfire at high revs and check engine light) and the inspection in the workshop shows the failure patterns, Porsche will replace the defective engine with a new engine having the latest parts. Porsche confirms that the issue is isolated to the 991.1 GT3, and that the 991.1 GT3 RS and the 991 R are not affected."

  • 911gt3 (registered bidder) 10 months, 2 weeksago

Found a copy of a Porsche letter online that went out to an owner. It says 10 years from the in-service date of the car. Maybe this was changed?I’d like to bid so hoping there’s some documentation. Otherwise I may call a dealer.

Per the Porsche dealer's invoice attached at the end of the photo gallery, the engine was replaced between October 8, 2019 (when the car was delivered to the dealer) and October 18, 2019 (when the car was ready). The end date of the 10 year Porsche engine warranty should be 10 years from the date the car was delivered to the former owner or October 18, 2029.

  • 911gt3 (registered bidder) 10 months, 2 weeksago

Seller, can you clarify the end date for the 10 year Porsche engine warranty?

@akkando the document should be added to the lisitng rather than sharing offline. Other bidders may be interested. Thank you

  • akkando (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

There should be zero chance of an F revision engine in the vehicle if it was replaced after 2017. I've never ever seen Porsche update the sticker when they replace a 991.1 gt3 engine so it doesn't tell the tale. I'll contact you directly with my email.

  • tfjonesiii (seller) 10 months, 3 weeksago

Thank you for your question. The attached photos of the decals on the inside of the front and rear hoods show the VIN and the engine designation MA175 F 02451. If you want, I can email you the dealer’s repair report showing the replacement engine. The report identifies the replacement engine with the part number 9A1-100-975-EX, which when Googled is identified as replacement engine.

  • akkando (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

Do you have any documentation on the engine swap? Or can you take a picture of the stamp on the engine so we can see what engine revision is in the vehicle? You can search youtube for "How to find a 991.1 GT3 engine code" to see an example of how to find the enginecode stamp.
