Following in the footsteps of the legendary 959, 911 GT1, and Carrera GT, the 918 Spyder was introduced as Porsche’s flagship supercar in 2013. It features an advanced plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a 4.6-liter V8 engine derived from the RS Spyder Le Mans prototype race car paired with 2 electric motors on the front and rear axle for a combined output of 875 HP. This 2015 example is #916 of 918 units built in total and comes finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over an Onyx Black leather interior with Acid Green piping. It was originally delivered to Keyes Porsche of Woodland Hills, California, and changed hands in 2020 when it moved to Florida where it was acquired by the seller’s client in 2022. The car was imported to British Columbia and subsequently modified with OEM Weissach Package carbon fiber rear diffuser side fins and front air outlet inserts. It underwent a major 30k-mile interval service in September 2023 and is now being offered for auction with approximately 1,400 miles showing on the odometer.
The 918 Spyder’s bodywork is made entirely of lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and features a removable two-piece Targa roof as well as the Porsche Active Aerodynamics system which includes an automatically deploying rear spoiler. Other features include dual top-mounted exhaust outlets, front fender air outlets, side air intakes, a carbon fiber front splitter, LED headlights, a driver’s side fuel cap, a passenger-side charging port, Acid Green brake calipers, and 20”/21” center-lock wheels. This example is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic and features OEM Weissach Package parts that were installed in 2022 including carbon fiber rear diffuser side fins and carbon fiber inserts for the front fender air outlets. The seller notes the car remains in outstanding condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is situated in an exposed carbon fiber cockpit appointed with Onyx Black leather, brushed aluminum trim, and contrasting Acid Green piping. Accessories include lightweight carbon fiber bucket seats, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with a drive mode selector, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Burmester surround sound system, a fire extinguisher, an elevated center console housing a 7” touchscreen display, and an 8” information display above the center console.
Derived from the RS Spyder LMP2 race car, the 918 is equipped with a mid-mounted 4.6-liter MR6 90° V8 engine featuring a flat-plane crankshaft, titanium connecting rods, and an output of 599 HP. The engine is supplemented by 2 electric motors on the front and rear axles which provide a total system output of 875 HP and 944 lb.-ft of torque. Power is fed through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transaxle and an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential. The adaptive suspension includes rear-axle steering and the car derives stopping power from cross-drilled carbon ceramic disc brakes coupled with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. It also comes standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), and electro-mechanical power steering. The seller indicates some services were completed at Porsche dealers under warranty between 2015 and 2018. Notably, a major 30k-mile interval service was performed in September 2023 including an engine and transmission oil change, a brake fluid flush, new spark plugs, cabin filters, wiper blades, key batteries, and a multi-point inspection. Corresponding service records are included in the sale.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a car cover, a battery charger, the original amber side marker lenses, documentation, and a clean title.

Just heard back from our broker and we believe this car can re-enter the US duty free. US customs will have the last word on that but given that it only entered into Canada in April 2021, it is looking very likely that there will not be an issue. Again, please check with your importer as well. Provided in the gallery is a photo of the cluster, compliance label and CarFax's showing entry into Canada.

I just uploaded photos of the cluster in miles with the brake light showing and the compliance label. Again this was a previous US car so re-entering the US will not be an issue but those that are looking into this, will need these photos.
I am also confirming with our broker to see if in fact this can or cannot re-enter duty free. Will confirm shortly.
