Up for auction is this 2015 Porsche 981 Cayman GTS finished in White over a black leather interior with Alcantara. Equipped with premium factory options as standard including the Sport Chrono Package and Sport Exhaust, this 2015 GTS was offered originally as Porsche’s flagship Cayman model. It also comes optioned with 20” 911 Turbo Design wheels, Sports Suspension, a PDK 7-speed transmission, and the Convenience Package. With just over 15k miles currently showing on the odometer, this GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.
The exterior is finished in White and the paint is said to be in excellent condition. The seller reports that the rear bumper cover was professionally refinished following a minor scratch, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. This particular example features “GTS” side designations and optional 20” 911 Turbo design wheels that come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara, and the seller describes the condition to be like-new. Optional features equipped for this example include an Alcantara headliner, fire extinguisher, the Smoking Package, a SiriusXM satellite radio receiver, and the Convenience Package which includes dual-zone automatic climate control and heated seats.
This 981 is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4 L flat-six engine paired with a rapid dual-clutch 7-speed PDK transmission. 340 HP is transferred to the rear wheels allowing this GTS to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.5 seconds. Standard performance features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the Sport Chrono Package, and Sport Exhaust. This 981 has been further optioned with Sports Suspension for enhanced driving characteristics. CARFAX shows this vehicle's last service to have occurred in October of 2020 at 15,059 miles.

@imaputz The flickering is in the video from my phone. The lights are not actually flickering when you look at them live.
It might be a setting on my phone for video.
Why does the dashboard lights rapidly flicker like that during startup in the video? Is that normal?
@mee418 look at the photo on the center console by the PDK do you see a PASM button? Look at the built sheet it says X73 suspension. You can order the GTS either way but this one does not have PASM period.
@Mmsp I googled it and found several sources including Car and Driver that says PASM is standard on the 2015 Cayman GTS.

@Dbahnick there are two manual adjustments. One in front and one lever on the side. There is also an electric switch on the side.
It doesn’t appear to have a separate lumbar adjustment.
This is one of the very few cars that y back does not hurt when driving over an hour in it. The back support is excellent
Do the adjustable seats have lumbar controls?
As to the earlier question posted, the PASM and X73 suspension are both no cost options, the buyer could opt either one. I have a 2015 MT GTS---absolutely a fabulous car, on tight turns it seems otherworldly.
I have a 981GTS in Agate Gray with PDK. I love it. Drop it into Sport mode, stiffens it up, opens the pipes, the throttle response, braking, turn in, all outstanding as are fit, finish, a superb interior. A terrific car, fast and elegant. I took it out to Barber on slicks in Sport Plus, incredibly competent, amazing performance, a thriller. It's a magnificent machine for someone looking for a true sports car.
i have the convertible version of this and have loved every second of it, it literally makes me cheat on my other cars. the 981 is a superior version of every year of Boxster imo. and those rims are top flight. : )

Not sure how this works but I think the reserve means that there is a minimum correct and if so what is that ?

The small scratch is shown in the photo to show how minor it was. The newer photo shows the bumper after it was refinished properly at a high end shop.
The reason you see two different inspection stickers is because I have had this car for a while and I use it occasionally. So I kept the sticker current.
In some photos the rear bumper is damaged and appears to need paintwork. In other pics it looks great. Some photos show MA inspection sticker with June and one in August. Hard to gauge which car/condition is being sold and listed here. Also what is the name of the selling dealer?
