We are pleased to present this 2016 BMW F82 M4 GTS finished in Mineral Grey over a black leather and Alcantara interior. The M4 GTS is one of the latest offerings in BMW’s long line of track-focused high-performance 3-Series models, dating back to the legendary E30 M3 Evolution. Production of the M4 GTS concluded with 803 examples worldwide, of which only 405 were delivered to North America. Fitted with a water-injection system, carbon-ceramic brakes, adjustable coilover suspension, a four-point roll bar, adjustable carbon-fiber aerodynamics, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, the GTS held the title as the fastest production BMW to lap the Nürburgring, besting the standard M4 by 24 seconds. Having been driven just over 400 miles from new, this rare M4 GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The exterior is finished in Mineral Grey Metallic (B39), one of only four colors offered for this limited-production model. The M4 GTS features extensive use of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) to save weight, including the GTS-specific hood, roof panel, trunk lid, rear valence, adjustable front splitter, and rear wing. The M4 GTS is the first production BMW to feature organic LED taillights, which produce a larger, wider light pattern and have different modes depending on driving settings and conditions. The GTS includes black kidney grills and Shadowline window trim as standard. The large gold-painted carbon-ceramic brake calipers sit behind BMW Style 666M wheels which feature Acid Orange inserts, a machined face, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cockpit of the GTS features a track-focused design and lightweight manually adjustable sport seats finished in black leather and Alcantara. The dashboard and glove box are wrapped in black leather, while the steering wheel, center console, and emergency brake handle are upholstered in Alcantara as well as a strip on the dash that reads “GTS” in contrasting orange. An Acid Orange four-point roll bar sits over the rear seats, which have been deleted in place of Alcantara-wrapped CFRP panels. The door panels are constructed from lightweight recycled materials first seen in the BMW i3, and feature M-striped fabric door pulls that match the M-striped seat belts. The thickened Alcantara-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel features M-colored deviated stitching and an orange 12 o’clock marking at the top. It frames a 200-MPH speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and a color LCD information screen. Standard features include BMW iDrive navigation, a head-up display, automatic climate control, and Parking Distance Control.
The M4 GTS is powered by a twin-turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine with Double-VANOS variable valve control, rated at 493 HP and 443 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential. The GTS features a special water injection system that sprays a fine mist of distilled water directly into the intake system over 5k RPM, reducing overall internal engine temperature and allowing for increased turbo boost pressure. The M4 GTS can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 190 MPH. Weight savings continue in the mechanics of this car in the form of a carbon-fiber driveshaft and a titanium exhaust system. The carbon precision strut over the engine is designed to reinforce the front end while imrpoving steering feel. CARFAX shows service to have been carried out in September of 2020 by Competition BMW of Saint James, NY at 225 miles.
This sale will include the original window sticker and a clean title. One of the most high-performance road-going vehicles BMW has ever produced, do not miss your chance to own this very low mileage M4 GTS.
