An homage to the Corvette C7.R race car, the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition features a unique appearance package with visible carbon fiber accents as well as yellow interior stitching, Corvette Racing sill plates, the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group, and the Z07 Performance Package with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. This example is #350 of 650 produced worldwide and comes finished in Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat over a Jet Black leather and suede interior. Said to be one of only 129 yellow coupes equipped with a manual transmission, this Corvette C7.R Edition is now being offered for auction by its second owner out of Illinois while showing approximately 16k miles on the odometer.
This example is finished in Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat, one of only two colors that were offered on the C7.R. It is distinguished as a C7.R Edition by a special exterior graphics stripe package, a visible carbon fiber hood insert and ground effect package, Spectra Gray Metallic grilles and air vents, yellow brake calipers, and black 19”/20” Z06 wheels with yellow accent stripes. It comes standard with the Z07 Performance Package which includes a front splitter, front dive planes, and a rear wing for increased downforce. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires showing production date codes from 2019 and 2020. The seller states the tires bear approximately 3k miles of use and the full front end of the car is preserved under clear paint protection film along with the mirror caps, rocker panels, and rear quarters.
Inside, this C7.R Edition features a Jet Black leather interior with Competition Sport Seats, yellow contrast stitching, a high-gloss carbon fiber trim package, and sueded microfiber accents on the doors, instrument panel, seats, steering wheel, and shifter. Special details include Corvette Racing sill plates, C7.R embroidered headrests, and a numbered C7.R Edition plaque. The car is equipped as standard with the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group which adds the following items:
A supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 engine delivers up to 650 HP and 650 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed manual transmission with active rev matching. The Corvette Z06 comes standard with an electronic limited-slip differential, a rear differential cooler, a multi-mode performance exhaust, and a dry sump oil system. The Z07 Performance Package further enhances the car with a specially tuned Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension as well as upgraded Brembo ceramic brakes. The seller states that all routine service has been kept up to date and a complete collection of maintenance records will be provided to the next owner.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a special edition car cover, a battery charger, service records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This C7.R is #350 out of 500 for the US market, is 1 of 129 yellow coupes with MT out of 650 produced globally, and is completely stock. There is no track time, and the car has never seen a cloudy day much less driven in the rain. Winter storage in a climate-controlled facility. New Michelin Cup 2 tires installed at 13,959 miles. PPF by Chicago Auto Pros in 05/2023 and Scrape Armor skid plate protecting front splitter installed by Blackdog Speed Shop 08/2023.”

If the buyer is interested in storage, I can connect them with the local facility that I have used for several years and where this C7.R spent last winter. The storage section is a separate part of the Knaus Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Center facility in North Chicago, IL. Last year storage was $200 per month with a 6 month contract. Payment per month or in 3 month increments is also offered for a slightly higher rate. They allow access twice per month and like a one day notice to get the car out of storage. No customers are allowed in the storage area which I really like and no matter how well they know you an ID is required to get your car.
Down to the last day with 5 hours to go. I'm a bit sad, but also excited that my C7.R will find a new owner and home. It took me a long time to find her and she met my every expectation. I am available to answer any questions and best of luck to everyone.

A bit of history. When I was looking for a C7.R, I wanted a yellow coupe with MT, at least 10K miles, all maintenance records and no outstanding issues. I flew to FL in February to meet the seller, do a test drive and be present for the PPI. I then had the car shipped in an inclosed trailer to a local storage facility. The car's first trip was to Chicago Auto Pros for PPF and then to Blackdog Speed Shop for the skid place (pictures in gallery - gorgeous facility and where the Northshore Corvette Club meets!). The limited time and miles I added have made me smile.
sksongwriter - in September I had a reoccurrence of a long dormant health issue. The car is amazing and I had no intention of selling which is why I added the PPF and skid plate for the splitter.
Thanks for your comment.
