Believed to be of only 500 special editions built for the U.S., the Z06 C7.R Corvette came equipped with the Z07 Performance Package, the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group, unique exterior details, and a model-specific Jet Black interior upholstered in leather and suede with Competition Sport Seats and yellow contrast stitching. This 2016 example was delivered new to Maypole Chevrolet of Toccoa, Georgia, and was acquired by the seller in May of 2022. It was optioned with the C7.R Package at an additional cost of over $23k as well as a paddle-shifted 8-speed automatic transmission, a rear cargo mat, and Carbon Flash-painted side mirrors. It is reported to have been stored in a climate-controlled garage as part of a collection and has never been tracked. Showing under 300 miles on the odometer, this limited Corvette Z06 C7.R is now being offered by its seller out of South Carolina.

The exterior is finished in Corvette Racing Yellow (GC6), one of only two colors available for the special edition. The C7.R package equips a carbon fiber ground effects kit, a carbon fiber hood insert, high-gloss Spectra Gray grilles and side vents, the C7.R graphics package, and black-painted 19”/20” aluminum wheels with yellow accent stripes and Corvette Racing center caps. The car rides on original Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The Z07 Performance Package also adds front splitter end plates and a wicker bill rear spoiler. Details include a removable carbon fiber roof panel, yellow Brembo brake calipers, HID headlamps, LED parking lights and indicators, optional Carbon Flash-painted heated and power-adjustable door mirrors, and Solar-Ray light tinted glass. The interior features heated and ventilated competition sport seats trimmed in Jet Black leather along with yellow stitching, suede inserts, and embossed headrest logos, along with carbon fiber trim, Corvette Racing sill plates and a commemorative racing victories plaque located below the climate control panel. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, a heads-up display, a premium BOSE surround sound system, a performance data/video recorder, front and curb-view cameras, a Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless entry, push-button ignition, remote start, and a suede-wrapped multifunction steering wheel that fronts a digital instrument cluster.

Under the hood, the Z06 C7.R is equipped with an LT4 6.2L supercharged V8 engine that generates up to 650 HP and 650 lb.-ft of torque, mated to a Hydramatic 8L90 8-speed automatic transaxle and electronic limited-slip differential, allowing this Z06 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3 seconds. The Z07 Performance Package adds a specially tuned suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control dampers as well as upgraded Brembo calipers over carbon ceramic rotors. Performance features include a differential cooler, speed-sensitive power steering, a driver mode selector, and a  performance exhaust system. The seller reports that all routine maintenance is up to date, and oil changes have been performed twice a year.
