Now available for auction is this highly collectible 2016 Porsche 991 Carrera GTS Club Coupe.  Built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America, the 991 Club Coupe was limited to only 60 examples in total and was only available for purchase through a random lottery drawing among members of the PCA.  Offered in a unique Paint to Sample Club Blau finish over a specially appointed black leather and Alcantara interior, this limited-edition GTS also comes equipped with 20” Sport Classic wheels, the SportDesign Package, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, and PASM Sport Suspension.  It had remained under the care of its original owner in Texas up until very recently in 2021 when it was acquired by the seller in California.  Among the last of the naturally aspirated Carrera’s and one of the rarest 991 models of all, this Club Coupe is now being offered for auction with just over 8k miles traveled from new.

This GTS is presented in the nonmetallic Paint to Sample color of Club Blau.  Clear paint protection film was recently removed from the exterior and the seller notes only a few scuffs on the underside of the front spoiler.  Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean one-owner CARFAX report.  This GTS features the SportDesign Package which includes a revised front fascia and ducktail rear spoiler.   Other unique details include “Club Coupe” side model designations, black-framed Bi-Xenon headlights, black Sport Exhaust tips, and Fuchs-inspired 20” Sport Classic wheels painted in semi-gloss black with machined centers and outer lips.

Inside, this 991 features a black leather and Alcantara GTS interior with carbon fiber trim and special two-tone blue and red deviated stitching throughout the cabin.  Some noteworthy details include black seatbelts with red contrasting stripes, a central tachometer dial in Carmine Red, stainless steel door sills with “GTS Club Coupe” logos, and a leather SportDesign steering wheel with two-tone stitching and a red 12 O’clock marking.  A commemorative “60 Years Porsche Club of America” designation is located on the carbon fiber glovebox trim along with a “60” logo embossed on the center armrest.  The driver is also supplied with the Premium Package and 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus w/ Memory Package.

Marking the final model year of the naturally aspirated Carrera, this GTS is equipped with a 3.8L flat-six engine that sends up to 430 HP to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual transmission.  Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 4.4 seconds with a top speed of approximately 190 MPH.  Additional performance features include PASM Sport Suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), the Porsche Sports Exhaust System, and Sport Chrono Package.  All scheduled maintenance has been addressed through authorized dealers in Texas and corresponding records will accompany the sale.  A full service was carried out in February of 2021 by Porsche of Plano at 8,069 miles including a brake fluid flush, oil, and filter change. A DME report is provided for reference in the photo gallery.

This sale will include a set of two keys, service records, owner’s manuals, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a Club Coupe hat, PCA memorabilia, and a clean title.  A collector's item from day one, this rare GTS Club Coupe is a perfect choice for any discerning enthusiast, do not miss out.

@Bogeypax Yes I am the owner/seller so I am biased agreeing with you 100% but rightfully so. Yes, the production numbers are EXTREMELY low for this car and we all know how valuable, collectible and desirable these rare limited production Porsches are. I am sure (hopeful?) that the buyers recognize this and the bids will get to where they should be for this gorgeous car. Thanks for bringing up your opinion-knowledgable and correct.. with only 20 ever made we should see some spirited bidding towards the end of the auction.

  • Bogeypax (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Based on rarity alone, this should be selling for at least double it's current bid! Isn't this the most limited production 991.1 ever made? Is anyone aware of a more limited model? For example, Porsche produced 991 of the 911R, just 60 of these Club Coupes, and ONLY 20 with a manual transmission! For now, this is a steal, interested to see what happens...

@Takky yes will do so later today. There is scrapping under the from lip. I was going to have it painted at the dealership where I bought the car but due to me having to transport it from Texas to my facility here in Newport Beach, I opted to leave it alone due to possible further scrapings during transport. You have to get down on your hands and knees and look underneath to see it but yes there is slight scrapping. Thanks for your question.

  • Takky (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Seller, can you post a photo of the painted underside of the front metal lip? From one of the exterior photos of the front splitter, there is appears to be a suggestion of scraping on the underside.

  • bluemonkey (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Yup that’s the CJM Extended GTS Club Coupe Package.

  • cerb1958 (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

@momotime but i would like to know who did the fabulous photography

  • cerb1958 (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

    @momotime that was @clayman, not me ?

  • mathfuzzy 3 years, 4 monthsago

Hi - original owner of a manual Club Coup here. To help clarify the shifter, the red / blue stitching on the shift boot only came if the car was ordered with the extended interior package. I can't remember what else came, but it included leather edged floor mats, red / blue shift boot if a manual and I think the leather key pouch.

  • ClayMan (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Just because another car doesn't have it doesn't necessarily imply the they didn't come with it. Not to be difficult but these are special cars and the shifter is a special touch unique to it.

Here's a photo of a car with it:

The car was actually on PCARMARKET too:

    Hello
Please take several pics outside in the
    sun
    Thanks
    Dennis

  • momotime (seller) 3 years, 4 monthsago

@cerb1958 If I am incorrect I will be the first to admit it..

  • momotime (seller) 3 years, 4 monthsago

@ClayMan Totally incorrect. Google the 75 mile manual Club Coupe that was on Pcarmarket and check out the pics. SAME shifter. Then google Club Coupes and look at all the images of a manual Club Coupe and you will then perhaps change your comments.

  • cerb1958 (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

the car is beautiful, AND the photography is spectacular. Who did the photos?

  • ClayMan (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Manual club coupes came with a bespoke shifter with bi-colored stitching matching steering wheel.

  • momotime (seller) 3 years, 4 monthsago

@ClayMan please advise why you are asking this question. The car and all options on the car are exactly as it left Stuttgart! This car is 100% original and the original owner was fastidious about keeping the car perfect and original.

  • H2NO (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

@ClayMan what makes you think the shifter is not original? Did I miss something in the description? I have the same shifter/boot in my 991.1.

  • clemsonkev 3 years, 4 monthsago

Bid in the amount of $61,111

  • ClayMan (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Is the original shifter / gaiter included?

  • dsdepew (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Might as well get the party started. Beautiful car. It would look good parked next to our '14 50th.

  • dsdepew 3 years, 4 monthsago

  • townlineroad (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Very beautiful car! If you drive one they are so much fun with no turbos and wonderful brakes and PDK. I would love to own it but I don't need two.
