We are pleased to offer this rare 2016 Porsche 991 Carrera GTS Club Coupe.  Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America, the 991 Club Coupe was limited to 60 examples in total and was only available for purchase through a lottery drawing among members of the PCA.  It sports a unique Paint to Sample Club Blau finish, SportDesign aero package, Fuchs-style wheels, and a special black leather/Alcantara interior with red and blue deviated stitching.  This particular example also came optioned with the Extended Club Coupe Package which adds color-match keys, a leather key pouch, and leather-edged floormats with two-tone stitching.  This highly collectible 991 Club Coupe is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California while showing just over 2k miles on the odometer.

This special edition Carrera GTS is finished in the nonmetallic Paint to Sample color of Club Blau and features a SportDesign aero package with a revised front fascia and ducktail rear spoiler.  Other unique details include a black model designation, black Sport Exhaust tips, “Club Sport” logos along the bottoms of the doors, LED headlights in black, and the omission of a sunroof.  The car is said to have always been garage kept and covered. Factory-applied paint protection film remains in place and the seller notes a small chip on the top of the right front fender, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  This Club Coupe rides on Fuchs-inspired 20” Sport Classic wheels finished in semi-gloss black with machined centers and outer lips.  These wheels retain their original Pirelli P Zero tires.

Inside, this Club Coupe features a special black leather and Alcantara GTS interior with carbon fiber trim and two-tone red and blue deviated stitching.  The Premium Package is equipped along with 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus.  Some unique details include black seatbelts with red contrasting stripes, a central tachometer dial in Carmine Red, stainless steel door sills with “GTS Club Coupe” logos, and a leather SportDesign steering wheel with two-tone stitching and a red 12 O’clock marking. The Extended Club Coupe Package also adds special leather-edged floormats with two-tone stitching. A “60” logo is embossed on the center armrest along with a commemorative designation on the carbon fiber trim above the glovebox.  All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional and the PCM infotainment system is said to have been recently replaced by Porsche at a cost of $6,500.

Among the last of the naturally aspirated Carrera models, this first-generation 991 GTS is equipped with a 3.8L flat-six engine rated at 430 HP.  The rear wheels are driven by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.8 seconds.  Standard performance features of the GTS include the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust, Dynamic Engine Mounts, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV).  A recent service and inspection were carried out by Porsche Irvine at 2,246 miles and a prior service is said to have been done under the former ownership in April of 2020.

This sale will include a special car cover, a set of two painted keys, a leather key pouch, a commemorative leatherbound book, and a clean title. One of the rarest and most sought-after models of the 991 generation, this Club Coupe is a must-have for any avid Porsche collector.

The previous owner had disconnected the battery when he stored the car and we needed to reset to onboard computer in order to be able to smog the car in California. It took several visits to identify the issue and correct it. Hope that helps. CA smog is a pain in the derrière. Thx, R

@rabender Since you acquired this car in March on BringATrailer, the Carfax shows two trips to Laguna Canyon Smog and three stops at Porsche Irvine (one for the new PCM?). Just curious as to why all the service visits within 90 days?

    Happy Father's Day everyone!!

@Kerry The PCM was replaced 4 weeks ago by the Porsche dealer under warranty. Thx, R

    When was the PCM replaced

  • LeaderInLA 2 years, 10 monthsago

@Bogeypax The registry group is on Facebook. Search for PCA Club Coupes Register.

  • Bogeypax (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

@LeaderInLA As an owner of a Club Coupe myself, where do I sign-up for the registry?

  • LeaderInLA 2 years, 10 monthsago

@Bogeypax There is a registry group of Club Coupe owners. While not all owners are in the group, most are. By comparing VINs, we’ve been able to determine build order. Porsche did NOT number the cars (1-60) as they’ve done with previous short-run builds. Don’t know why.
CC #1 was a 2015 model year GTS shown all around the country promotionally. After all the other 59 cars (all 2016 model year) were delivered, PCNA gave away #1 to a PCA member. CC #2 is the car that was totaled, and THIS Club Coupe is #3.

  • Bogeypax (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

@LeaderInLA How do you know which # in the production order these were?

Yes. The window sticker was sent to PCMARKET to include in the presentation. I will ask them post them. Thx, R

  • LeaderInLA 2 years, 10 monthsago

This car is #3 of the 60 built by Porsche. As one of the 60 was totaled, there are now just 59 of these special edition GTSs remaining.
I own Club Coupe #35 and have driven it considerably more miles than this one without a single significant problem. This car will make you new friends wherever you drive it.

  • dennisconnie2 (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    Great car
Do you have the window sticker?

  • rabender (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

Hello Everyone. I need to part with this beauty as I have run out of space to store my
"investment" vehicles. It makes more sense to my wife when phrased that way. I would be
happy to answer any questions about the Club Coupe. It was just serviced and detailed
locally and is ready for its new owner to enjoy. Thanks for bidding. Regards, R
