The track-focused RS version of Porsche’s 991 GT3 was launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show featuring new lightweight bodywork, aggressive aerodynamics, full bucket seats, and a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 500 HP. This 2016 example was originally ordered by an avid Porsche collector out of Washington and comes finished in the custom Paint to Sample color of Viper Green over a Black and GT Silver leather/Alcantara interior. At an original sticker price of over $206k, it also showcases optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), illuminated carbon fiber door sills, colored seatbelts and instrument dials, painted interior trim, Satin Black wheels, the Sport Chrono Package, and much more. Having covered less than 500 miles, this GT3 RS was recently acquired by the seller from its original owner and is now being offered for auction out of Arizona.

This GT3 RS was ordered in the historic 1970s Porsche color of Viper Green as a custom Paint to Sample option. Compared to the standard GT3, the RS version incorporates Turbo-style rear air intakes as well as vented front fenders, a lightweight magnesium roof panel, and a larger rear wing for increased downforce. This example was also optioned with Bi-Xenon headlights in Black and 20”/21” center-lock wheels in Satin Black. The seller notes that a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires were installed during a service earlier in 2023. The Black and GT Silver interior is upholstered in leather and Alcantara including carbon fiber full bucket seats. Optional details include illuminated door sills guards in carbon fiber, seatbelts in Racing Yellow, instrument dials in Guards Red, painted air vents and PCM trim, a steering wheel and gear selector in smooth black leather, and the Sport Chrono Package with a clock dial in Guards Red. Other additional features include an extended-range fuel tank, Sound Package Plus, a fire extinguisher, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation.

This GT3 RS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that revs up to 9k-RPM while sending up to 500 HP to the rear wheels. Using a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and a sport exhaust system with center tailpipes in black. The seller notes a routine service and inspection were carried out upon their acquisition earlier in 2023 and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
