Great looking car, GREAT driving car. Some lucky sum beach is gonna end up with a sweetheart. I'm a three pedal guy (that will never change unless I lose a leg) but, still a great car!

Hard to find these 2016 - I believe last year with Flat 6 Engine before they went with the 4 cylinder. Gorgeous looking car!

@scudmarks She looks awesome, and like all 981's, should be very reliable. No fuss, no muss. Recommendation to next owner: Immediately go to Porsche and order PSE. OMG.. worth every dime. Flat six + NA + PSE = orgasmic exhaust notes with burples, cracks and pops.

@997Cup Holy smokes, an extra 100lbs!??! How do one accomplish this? Can you load 50lbs in the frunk, and 50lbs in the back hatch or behind a seat? I just purchased a '16 981 GTS and am finally looking forward to AX and maybe track time. I'm not sure how one goes about getting into Club races, but I guess I'll figure that out.
To all: For market info, my new (to me) GTS is a cream puff. 23k lightly used miles by first owner. I'm #2. All maint up to date. PDK, Premium pkg, etc, though no parking sensor or rear view camera. Price: $71k OTD. Based on active comps , of which there weren't many, I think I got a good deal. Bought from a major brand luxury dealer (non-Pcar) where it was a trade-in. If it had been sold to a Porsche dealer, I think CPO would have added ~$2500 extra, so I'm glad I avoided that. First owner had 4yr/40k svc at Porsche a couple of months ago.

@997Cup Thanks you 997, great to know!

@Dbahnick PDK is essentially the same from 2009 to current day. Some software revisions over the years and more recently some hardware and an additional gear added, in the most recent PDK versions. Panamera had the 8th gear added in 2016 if I remember correctly and sport car line up received it with in the past 1.5 years. I may have my dates off a bit, but Im sure someone more knowledgeable could confirm exactly when. The gear selector on the center console is mainly a cosmetic change from what is pictured here to, what many refer to as the smaller "electric beard trimmer" selector. Many seem to prefer the 'old' style as on this vehicle. Either way the PDK transmissions are amazing. They're so good that in Porsche Club racing the PDK equipped cars must carry an additional 100lbs! And that is a lot of weight to be hauling around the race track!

@997Cup Thanks. I guess I'm not set up to bid (and that is why I don't see that option...)

@elcid86 At the bottom of your screen (when logged in) there should be a Heart, Comment and next to that a 'Please Bid' button. If I'm not mistaken you have to have a card on file for the 'Please Bid' link to show or at least be active on you screen. ???

Do we bid in the comments or some other way?

  • scudmarks (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

I believe so. Although I don't know if there have any any changes made to it. It is a 7-speed PDK. Porsche has a few different versions of the PDK for different cars, some are 8-speeds. The Cayman/Boxster has always had the 7-speed (its lighter)

  • Dbahnick (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

Nice car! The shifter looks dip. Is the PDK the same version of the current PDK transmission? Dave
