Now up for auction is this 2017 Audi S6 4.0T Premium Plus Quattro S-Tronic finished in Brilliant Black over a Lunar Silver leather interior. Offered as Audi’s high-performance version of the A6 sedan, the S6 boasts model-specific trim, a Quattro all-wheel-drive system, and a powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This 2017 example also features the Cold Weather Package, LED headlights, and Carbon Atlas decorative inlays as well as upgraded Dynamic Steering and Sport Differential software. Representing the last generation of the S6 to feature a twin-turbocharged V8 and with approximately 18k miles now showing on the odometer, this S6 is being offered by its 3rd owner out of New York.
The Brilliant Black paint is noted to be in very good condition overall with only minimal signs of wear. Some curb can be seen on the wheels and bubbles are present in the tint on the rear window (detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the photo gallery). Details that distinguish this example from a standard A6 include its aluminum mirror caps, quad-tip exhaust, and model-specific 19” 5-parallel-spoke S-design wheels. New Continental Sport all-season tires are said to have been installed during February of 2020 within the last 8k miles.
Inside, the Lunar Silver leather interior features optional Carbon Atlas inlays as well as the Cold Weather Package which adds a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats. Other amenities include a power sunroof, auto-dimming/power-folding/heated exterior mirrors, Audi smartphone interface, the Bose Surround Sound System, Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, Audi navigation plus, 4-zone automatic climate control, and heated S6 Valcona leather front Sport Seats with 12-way power adjustment and driver memory. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
This S6 derives 450 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque from a twin-turbocharged direct fuel injected V8 engine, which is delivered through a 7-speed dual-clutch S-Tronic transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The seller has reportedly used a tuning application to unlock upgraded Dynamic Steering and Sport Differential software. A previous owner brought this S6 back to the Audi dealership following a check engine light at 9k miles, which resulted in the manufacturer buyback branded title. The camshaft actuator for cylinder #5 was replaced by Volkswagen North America and a disclosure statement is provided for reference in the photo gallery. The car is now said to be in excellent driving order with a 15k recommended service said to have been completed under the current ownership along with a recent oil change and thermostat housing replacement.

As a current owner of a 2018 S6, our third in this C7/C7.5 generation since 2014, I can say these cars are solid drivers with excellent power. Cylinder deactivation at highway speeds is seemless and helps achieve >25 mpg. Swaybars and a computer tune really improves the handling and acceleration. You cannot get a 4.0TT V8 anymore for under $100g. The C7.5 S6 is a great value and a great car.

Hi, good looking S6. I was actively looking for one back in December. However, I think 50% plus of these leave the factory in black over black. I was looking for one in either the silver interior like this or the red (my favorite). Couldn't find the color combo at a price I was willing to pay. I ended up buying a 2020 SQ5 Quantum gray over red. End of year Season of Audi deal was to good to pass up.
This looks like it could be a nice buy if you can get past the branded title. BTW the claimed disclosure statement is not in the gallery.
