The F80 is the fifth generation of BMWs famed M3 sports sedan, and the first M3 to use a turbocharged engine. This 2017 example was ordered in Mineral Grey over a Sakhir Orange Full Merino leather interior and was optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission, the Competition Package, the Executive Package, the Lighting Package, and a carbon fiber roof panel. It sports a professionally applied 3M Gloss Green Envy vinyl wrap and has been fitted with an M-Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler, carbon fiber mirror caps, carbon fiber front splitters, an M-Performance steering wheel and shifter, and aluminum charge pipes. This 2017 M3 Competition is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania showing approximately 54k on the odometer.

The exterior is finished in Mineral Grey (B39) and has been professionally wrapped in 3M Gloss Green Envy (G336) vinyl by Bay Image Autospa of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. The seller reports the finish underneath remains in excellent condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Equipment includes full LED adaptive headlights with retractable headlight washers and automatic high-beams, a carbon fiber roof panel, model-specific bumper covers, black quad exhaust tips, high-gloss black Shadowline exterior trim, and blue brake calipers with tri-color M insignias. An M-Performance carbon fiber trunk spoiler has been added as well as M-Performance carbon fiber mirror caps and M-Performance carbon fiber front splitters. The 20” BMW Style 666M wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2021.

The interior was optioned with Sahkir Orange Full Merino leather, which includes additional upholstery on the upper and lower dash, door panels, and door pulls. The power-adjustable and heated sport seats feature M tri-color embroidered seatbelts and are complemented by carbon fiber trim and an Anthracite headliner. The optional Executive Package equips a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, Parking Distance Control, full side and top view cameras, Parking Assistant, and heads-up display. Standard features include Comfort Access keyless entry, automatic climate control, a Harmon Kardon sound system, and BMW iDrive infotainment with navigation, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay connectivity. An M-Performance Alcantara and carbon fiber steering wheel has been added as well as an M-Performance carbon fiber shift knob with an Alcantara boot.

This M3 Competition is equipped with a twin-turbocharged S55 inline six-cylinder rated at 444 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and an Active M limited-slip differential. The optional Competition Package features revised settings for the Adaptive M Suspension, Dynamic Stability Control, and Active M electronic limited-slip differential, as well as new springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars. The seller reports that a set of aluminum charge pipes have been installed to replace the original plastic units, and that regular maintenance has been performed under their ownership. The seller also notes that the brakes are due to be replaced in the next 7-10k miles and the oil is due for a change in 1-2k miles.
