We are pleased to present this twin-turbocharged 2017 Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 Super Trofeo widebody.  As the successor to the venerable Gallardo model, the Huracan became Lamborghini’s flagship V10 supercar in 2014.  Offering a desirable rear-wheel-drive configuration, this one-owner LP 580-2 was purchased new by the seller in 2016 from O'Gara Coach of Beverly Hills and was subsequently modified with a genuine Lamborghini Super Trofeo widebody kit, a Sheepey Racing Stage 2+ twin-turbo kit, BBS wheels, upgraded carbon-ceramic brakes, and an adjustable JRZ suspension with a lift system.  Producing a claimed output of up to 1600 HP, this incredible twin-turbocharged Huracan is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of California while showing approximately 6k miles on the odometer.

This Huracan is factory finished in Grigio Telesto and features a removable white vinyl wrap preserved under a clear protective film and ceramic coating.  A genuine Lamborghini Motorsport Super Trofeo racing widebody kit has been installed including louvered fenders, a carbon front splitter with dive planes, side air intakes, a vented front hood, flared rocker panels, a rear diffuser, and an adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing with swan neck titanium uprights. Carbon-Kevlar accents have also been added to the front fender liners and engine bay.  Additionally, a custom-fabricated pie-cut titanium exhaust system has been installed which is showcased through the grille opening in the rear.  Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  Carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow-painted calipers are tucked behind 20” BBS LMR multi-piece wheels which come dressed in Toyo Proxes R888 R tires.

The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with yellow contrast stitching. A custom fighter jet-style steering wheel with carbon-Kevlar accents has been installed along with carbon-kevlar shift paddles and a full custom sound system with a JL Audio subwoofer enclosure mounted between the front seats. The seller notes that a steering wheel error message was triggered resulting from the aftermarket steering wheel.

The mid-mounted 5.2L V10 engine has been upgraded with a Sheepey Racing Stage 2+ twin-turbo kit providing for a claimed output of up to 1600 HP. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with upgraded clutches and clutch basket. The Sheepey Racing Stage 2+ twin-turbo kit includes dual Precision 6466 mirror image turbochargers, a Motec Standalone ECU, billet drive gear, flex-fuel package for E85, a TCU flash developed by UNITRONIC, billet intake manifolds, and an OMP fire suppression system.

Also equipped are upgraded carbon-ceramic brakes and a full JRZ suspension setup including a cup lift system that allows the driver to increase ride height for extra ground clearance. The seller notes that maintenance has been kept up to date with service through a Lamborghini dealer up to approximately 3k miles and all following services through Sheepey Racing.

This sale will include a clean title. With the looks of a Super Trofeo racer and power far beyond that of nearly any other car on the road, this one-of-a-kind twin-turbocharged Huracan presents an incredible opportunity.

@tampagarage the car was painted when the body kit was installed. The original color of the car from factory was grigio telesto. When I installed the body kit I painted the car Grigio telesto again. Then clear bra and ceramic coat was installed. Then I wrapped the car in gloss white on top of the original paint and clear bra

@tampagarage 0 problems. Drives amazing. I want to build something new!

  • tampagarage (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

Hi Seller- Any current issues with drivability? Any signs of problems with engine internals? What is your reason for selling such a beautiful car?

  • tampagarage (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

Hi Seller- Sorry, I am a little uncertain. So there is one layer of wrap and one layer of clear bra over the original factory paint? Please confirm that the car was not repainted by the hot rod shop.

@pmorawiec also the quality of paint is amazing. A hot rod shop painted the car and the job was over 22k. The paint underneath has also been protected with a full clear bra and ceramic coating on top.

  • 2002R34 (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@pmorawiec the whole car is painted actually underneath the wrap. Yes I can remove the wrap if requested upon winning the bid.

  • pmorawiec (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

Good morning. i'm assuming some of the body panels (fenders) are painted. Can you comment on the quality of the work? Would you remove the wrap if requested upon winning bid? Thanks.

  • 2002R34 (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

@supercoupe430 the twin turbo was put on the engine I would say at the 1000-1200 mile mark. Clutch snd transmission were upgraded shortly after. There has been upgrades done as the years have gone by like fuel , billet manifolds etc. The car has been running like this for a few thousand miles.

  • supercoupe430 (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

When was all the engine and transmission work done to this Lambo.

@pmorawiec Also I have all records of service and documentation as well as invoices from SheepeyRace that will come with the purchase of the car. You are open to call SheepeyRace as well and ask for Alex, and let him know your interest, and he can definitely answer more questions if need be!

  • 2002R34 (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

@pmorawiec Thank you for the interest and questions. They are extremely valid. I had similar concerns. My concerns of the engine use and transmission use have been addressed as follows. Purchasing a full stand alone engine management system like MoTec, gives you the ability to install fail safes for the car in case something were to happen to the engine. When you keep the factory computer ECU , you cannot have all these fail safes as you can with MoTec. For instance, if the MoTec senses lack of fuel, or any knock on the motor, or oil level low, or fuel pressure low, it will automatically take the engine into limp mode and wont let you go full throttle until the issue is looked at and resolved. Its an amazing safety feature I had to have added to the build in order to protect the engine from going boom! As far as the transmission goes, the amount of power level that I am at currently only requires the clutch and clutch basket to be beefed up. The transmission does have a custom TCU flash on it to help with the additional torque as well, but theres no real issues there. It should also be noted that this car comes with 5 different map settings for power levels, Im usually at the 800-1000 level and rarely go up to 1400-1600 hp. This car is also very well known by Alex from Sheepeyrace (installer of the twin turbo kit and tune), if any issues arrise, this car has diplomatic immunity with him. There is some coverage to an extent that Sheepey race will cover as well. The car is very healthy, always on corn fuel (e85), and runs very well. I hope this helps answer your questions!

I was about to order a new Evo when I saw this pop up and I keep going back to it. Certainly my biggest concern is the excess wear on the motor and transmission. I've purchased a highly modified race car only to find metal shavings in the oil pan. What kind of information or records do you have that might put a potential bidder like myself at ease? Having said all that, this build is gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of authentic racing parts on street legal cars. Nicely done.

Very cool, good luck with sale

  • 2002R34 (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

Hello everyone and welcome to my auction. If you have any specific questions on the build please don’t hesitate to ask.

I have all invoices for every single part on the car to over 600k. Buyer will get all of those. Good luck!

@nyucfsu thank you for the kind words!

@pterodactyltactics This is one of the coolest cars I've ever seen. That exhaust manifold is art. This one is out of my price range unless you'd be interested in trading a 997 Turbo and a partially functioning liver. In all seriousness, GLWTA!
