We are pleased to present this 2017 Mercedes-Benz G550 4x4² finished in Designo Night Black Magno over a Designo Black Nappa leather and Dinamica suede interior. Introduced in 2017 as a special limited-production version of Mercedes’ W463 G-Class, the 4x4² boasts extreme off-road capabilities with factory-equipped portal axles, geared hubs, triple locking differentials, and a rally-inspired parallel coilover suspension. This 2017 example has also been treated to Brabus customizations by Tag Motorsports of Vista, California at a cost of over $60k including automatic power running boards, a valved exhaust system, an ECU upgrade, carbon-fiber exterior trim, revised front and rear bumpers, custom lighting and much more. Now showing just over 2k miles on the odometer, this Brabus-upgraded G550 4x4² is being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado.

This 4x4² came factory finished in the exclusive matte color of Designo Night Black Magno (056), a $3,950 option.  The exterior has been preserved with clear paint protection film applied over the front end. The exterior has been customized with Brabus parts including a front spoiler with integrated LED daytime running lights, dark-tinted headlights, a G63 grille with an illuminated Brabus logo, a rear bumper and push bar with integrated brake and reverse lights, a matte carbon-fiber hood scoop, matte carbon-fiber mirror covers, matte carbon-fiber side marker inserts, powdercoated automatic running boards, and black Brabus badging with a red “500” emblem on the tailgate. Factory details include exposed carbon-fiber fender flares and roof fairing with LED running lights, dual side-exit exhaust tips, and red-painted brake calipers.  The 22” painted alloy wheels come fitted with Brabus center caps and 36” 325/55 Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires.

The interior is trimmed in black Nappa leather accented by white contrast stitching, Anthracite Dinamica suede upholstery, and high-gloss carbon-fiber inlays. The optional Designo Exclusive Package adds diamond-stitched inserts to the seats, an Anthracite Dinamica suede headliner, and a Dinamica suede-wrapped multifunction flat-bottomed steering wheel. Amenities include heated front and rear seats, Mercedes COMAND navigation with Bluetooth and smartphone integration, dual-zone climate control, the Harmon Kardon LOGIC 7 Surround Sound System, a rearview camera, a power sliding sunroof, and tinted glass. The interior has also been fitted with Brabus accessories including branded floor mats, illuminated door sills, pedal covers, and shift paddles. The cargo area is lined with a black rubberized mat and features an illuminated Brabus entrance panel.

The G550 4x4² is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged M176 V8, which has been upgraded with a Brabus ECU tune that offers a claimed output of up to 493 HP and 523 lb.-ft of torque, an increase of 78 HP and 74 lb.-ft over stock configuration. A 7-speed 7G-Tronic automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels. The 4x4² is equipped with triple locking electronic differentials, portal axles, and geared hubs borrowed from the extreme G63 6x6 model. The 4x4²  offers nearly 18” of ground clearance, a water fording depth limit of 39”, and approach, breakover and departure angles greater than a Hummer H1. The suspension features Ohlins dual springs and variable dampers at each corner, which are electronically adjustable from a switch in the cabin. Braking is handled by 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-pistons in the rear, both paired with cross-drilled rotors. This example is said to be up to date on all scheduled maintenance and the CARFAX report shows regular service at Mercedes-Benz of Westminister, Colorado.
