Available for auction is this 2017 Mercedes-Benz G550 finished in Steel Grey Metallic over a Grey and Black leather interior. Tracing its roots back to the original Geländewagen military vehicle of the late 1970s, this 2017 example features a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, full-time all-wheel drive, three locking differentials, optional adjustable suspension, and all of the comforts and conveniences one could expect from a modern Mercedes-Benz. This G550 was purchased by the seller as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Mercedes-Benz of Morristown in 2018 and has been serviced exclusively by authorized Mercedes dealers ever since. Now with just over 30k miles showing on the odometer, this G550 is being offered for auction by its owner out of New Jersey.
This W463 comes finished in Steel Grey Metallic and features a chromed front brush guard and spare tire cover. A ceramic coating was professionally applied upon the seller’s purchase in 2018 and the car is said to have been garage kept ever since. The tailgate door was replaced by Mercedes-Benz under warranty in 2019, and a small paint repair on the driver-side rear quarter was completed under warranty in 2021. Other features include Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a power sliding sunroof, and premium 19” AMG 5-spoke wheels which come dressed in a set of Pirelli Scorpion tires. All four wheels are driven by way of a 7-speed automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case and locking front, center, and rear differentials. This example comes equipped with optional adjustable suspension, which allows the driver to change the damping characteristics to suit their driving needs. All scheduled service is said to have been carried out by authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers with the most recent annual service completed in June of 2021 which included a new auxiliary battery.

Thank you all for taking a look at my G-Wagon. I've enjoyed every mile driven over the past few years. There is nothing like the low rumble of this V8. Cruising on the highway or sitting in traffic, this truck sounds and feels great. I've only hand washed it myself or at APC (IYKYK) and parked it at the furthest corner of parking lots to keep it in this condition. Garage kept at home and at work. It's a real head turner. Happy to answer any questions on its history.
Yes, the bumper and wheels are original from the factory. The window sticker shows the wheels were ordered as a N/C option. There have been no modifications made.
So is the AMG lower bumper and wheels add-ons, or were they factory options in 2017?
