Representing AMG’s high-performance version of the W463 G-Class, this 2017 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG equips a 563-hp hand-built twin-turbocharged V8 powerplant, a dual-range transfer case, and triple electronically locking differentials, and a host of luxurious amenities. Finished in Designo Yellow Olive Magno over a Designo Exclusive Black leather interior, this example also features optional 20" AMG Twin 5-Spoke wheels, red brake calipers, the Stainless-Steel Package, Black Magno painted accents, AMG carbon fiber trim, an AMG performance steering wheel, Designo Manufaktur red contrasting stitching, and much more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Missouri.
The G63 is distinguishable by its styling from AMG which includes a revised grill and bumpers, additional trim, and chrome-finished side-exit exhausts. Finished in Designo Yellow Olive Magno (6671), this example is equipped with the Stainless-Steel Package, the CK2 option, which adds exterior parts in Black Magno, and rides on optional 20” AMG Twin 5-Spoke wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes STIII tires from 2023. Standard equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, a chrome front brush guard, running boards, and red-finished AMG brake calipers. The seller notes some areas that show wear, as well as light marks on the wheel cover, a small rock chip near the passenger headlight, and a small area on the hood where paint has been touched up. The cabin is upholstered in optional Designo Exclusive Black leather with heated and ventilated multi-contour AMG Sport Seats, diamond stitched seat centers, and optional contrasting Designo Manufaktur red stitching. Other options include an AMG Performance steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather and AMG carbon fiber trim. Diamond stitching also lines the door panels, while the Black Nappa leather dashboard features red stitching. Equipment includes black Designo Dinamica headlining, a Harman Kardon Logic 7 Surround Sound System, dual-zone automatic climate control, Comand navigation, Parktronic park assist with a rearview camera, Distronic active cruise control, blind spot assistance, a power sunroof, and heated rear seats. The seller notes a small burn mark on the driver’s side rear door armrest, a small V-shaped nick in the rear passenger side door panel leather, and a small piece of plastic trim that is split. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are said to function as intended, with no warning lights present.
Powered by a hand-built 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged M157 V8 engine, the G63 sends up to 563 HP and 561 lb.-ft. of torque to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and triple electronically locking differentials. Additional equipment includes an AMG high-performance braking system. The seller notes a recent service in March of 2024, performed at a cost of approximately $5k, included the replacement of the fuel & charcoal filters, the fuel pump, and additional regular maintenance items.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, some documentation, and a clean title. The CARFAX report notes the issuance of a manufacturer buyback/lemon law reported in 2018.

The vehicle was first brought into service on July 18th, 2017, purchased new from Mercedes-Benz of Orange Park in Jacksonville, Florida. In August of 2018, with 8,968 miles on the odometer, Mercedes-Benz reacquired the vehicle as a "Section 6 Buyback with no holds". Speaking with Mercedes-Benz of Orange Park, their service representative stated that a service ticket for a torque converter replacement and computer reprogramming remained open for a prolonged period due to the unavailability of a required part. This was a purchase for customer satisfaction and the vehicle could be sold immediately. We do not have copies of the records - only a spoken statement of why the history shows a Manufacturer buyback on the history report. The history shows that Mercedes-Benz resold the vehicle, now with 18,746 miles, to the second owner in Kansas City, Missouri. Throughout the duration of the second owner's possession, it has received maintenance and servicing from Mercedes Benz of Kansas City and Aristocrat Motors with the most recent service being March 18, 2024. The darker vertical stains above the door handles? is it a reflection or stains from hand grabbing/door closing?

@jng1984 The replacement of the parts was confirmed, verbally, by Mercedes Benz at Orange Park. The service representstive said their policy would not allow release of the invoice since we did not own the vehicle at the time.
thanks you for the response - but to be clear, where is the claim that torque converter parts replaced or computer programing completed documented? is this just something relayed in dialogue with Mercedes or Dealership, or is there a service record? pardon me if ive missed it
@jng1984 According to Mercedes Benz of Orange Park, they could not share the service ticket with us. In their words, the vehicle was purchased back to maintain customer satisfaction and not due to the repeated occurance of an issue with the vehicle or failed repairs. The parts were replaced after the buy back, once they were recieved by the dealership.
Any record of the torque converter replacement and computer reprogramming ever being performed, the issues originally responsible for the Lemon Buyback?
