This 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera Coupe was specially ordered with a Brewster Green finish from Porsche’s Paint to Sample collection. This example was further optioned with an Agate Grey interior, a 7-speed manual transmission, Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, SportDesign exterior mirrors, 20” Carrera Sport wheels, and much more. Upgraded with a HydraWorks Stage 2 tune and SOUL Performance catalytic converters, this Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing approximately 17k miles on the odometer.

A custom Paint to Sample option, this Coupe was ordered with a Brewster Green (22B) finish. Additional options include SportDesign exterior mirrors, a model designation deletion, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), and 20” Carrera Sport wheels with colored Porsche crests. It rides on Pirelli P Zero tires from 2021. The seller adds that the brake calipers have been finished in yellow and XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film was applied to the front end in August 2020. A paint imperfection on the rear bumper and slight curb rash are noted. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The driver is presented with an Agate Grey standard leather interior featuring power-adjustable Sport Seats Plus. As a 991.2 model, this Carrera features a completely redesigned center dash with an all-new Porsche Communication Management System interface which allows for pinch, scroll and swipe functionality. The Porsche Entry & Drive system was additionally opted for.

The 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine was rated at 370 HP and 331 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual transmission. The seller adds that a high-flow engine air filter, SOUL Performance 991.2 (with PSE) Sport catalytic converters, and a HydraWorks Stage 2 ECU tune with a performance increase of 118 HP and 110 lb.-ft of torque has been installed. This example was additionally optioned with Power Steering Plus, the Sport Exhaust System, and the Sport Chrono Package. The seller adds that the original catalytic converters will accompany the sale and the ECU tune can be reverted to stock. The CARFAX report shows that a 40k-mile service was performed in 2021 at approximately 16k miles.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and a battery charger.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for checking out this awesome 911. It’s a garage queen that has been meticulously taken care of and a beautiful car with such curb appeal. Low mileage, driven gently, and always kept inside. Hope this car ends up in the hands of a purist who will enjoy it as much as I did!”

@Moyster13 Thank you for clarifying. No there won't be any issue passing. I have a 1988 targa with a Steve Wong chip and aftermarket cats and exhaust and that thing passed easily. Straight piped is the issue. These cats are 100 cell so they are high flow but still do their job. I also have the factory cats which will go to the buyer with the car.

I believe @Porsche415 was asking will there be any issues smogging and registering in CA

  • Benjay221 (seller) 11 monthsago

The reason I asked about warranty was because car was sold as CPO in 2021 and CPO is a 2 year warranty. I believe if still intact which I don't see how owner wouldn't be aware of this it could be extended.

As far as service it should be serviced annually even if miles not driven again not sure how this isn't known? When sold it should have gotten the big 40k service to CPO car?

  • ThreePedalPlease (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

@Poorsche - can't tell you how grateful I am for your input and background. I really appreciate it.

  • Poorsche (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

@ThreePeal - can only say it left me at approx 15,700miles Aug 2021 and I sold it to local St-Petersburg Porsche dealer Bert Smith Porsche. I know for a fact they completed full dealer service (which may have meant new pads and believe new tires) they had it for sale for a month at least....They would have these records Seems new owner only added about 2000miles so even if not serviced since, certain no added harm as oil would have timed out at worst. It's such a beautiful car.

  • ThreePedalPlease (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

@poorsche - thanks! Were you to owner when the last service was done? I would love to see the service record showing brake wear etc.

  • Benjay221 (seller) 11 monthsago

It’s a 2017 so there isn’t a porsche warranty that I know of. The car can also be flashed back and I have the factory cats in hand.

There is no issue with Porsche if flashed back. They also don’t care the dealers get paid by porsche if they warrantee cars and do work anyway…

But I would recommend the flash as it just unlocks a little bit more of the cars potential and the cats just sound so much more pure. It’s not much louder the tone is just much better. Watch the videos :)

Thanks everyone for the comments and engagement

The next service is the 20k mile service which I haven’t hit yet. No servicing has been done under my ownership. I have put on maybe 1k mikes miles since I bought the car in November of 2021. No lights have come on has never given me any issues

  • johnnyv555 (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

Are there paint meter readings available? It looks like @wanna123 asked about CPO warranty and service information but I don’t see an answer?

  • Poorsche (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

@ThreePedal - I did not....it was all stock when it left my hands.

  • ThreePedalPlease (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

@Poorsche - did you put on the tune and new cats also?

  • Lipdog 11 monthsago

I'm very wary of tunes in general. Basically you are cranking up the boost to create more power and the internals aren't designed for that level of power.

If the tune is "removed", how can you be sure Porsche won't know and the warranty won't be voided

I'm the previous Florida Owner (the guy that spent the money on the PPF, etc)....it truly was a garage queen and the perfection of the paint intimidated me a bit but also made me "just drive the damn thing" on a few P cars that replaced it over past couple years. Would not have gone Yellow on brakes but not fair to judge other's tastes which is owner's option.
Main point here....I purchased car from CALIFORNIA and doubt noted mods would jeopardize smog.

  • Benjay221 (seller) 11 monthsago

@johnnyv555 I filed taxes in Florida for the last few teals and was a resident there. Came back to CA from FL and brought car with

  • porschedriver958 (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

, Such a great looking car, and clearly someone knew what they were doing when they ordered it. However, the tune and aftermarket cats are problematic for me, so I’m out- best of luck to the new owner as I’m sure it’s a beautiful vehicle.

  • wanna123 (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

To be clear last Porsche dealer or ? service was 2021?

CPO is expired? should be till June 03?

  • johnnyv555 (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

Unique build, no ventilated seats or moon roof... interesting. The car is in California but registered in Florida, why?

  • Benjay221 (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@ThreePedalPlease yes will pass. Still has a cat just a higher airflow one

  • ThreePedalPlease (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

Beautiful car. I sent a private message. Does the car pass California smog with current tune?

Very classy and unique color combo and well optioned. Excellent condition and care. This should do very well.

  • Benjay221 (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@vinknee no it hasn’t had any real mileage on it since then it’s still at 17,300

  • vinknee (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

Has the car been serviced or looked over since the last service in August of 2021 reported on the carfax? Apologies if I missed it.

  • Mannym5 (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

    Fantastic spec! GLWS

  • Benjay221 (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@wanna123 no issues at all. Tune is a very reputable one and these 911s are all supposedly (not trying to start any controversy) built off the same blocks and the S and base are essentially tuned down so they all can handle the spooling up of the turbos and that extra boost. It’s never had any engine lights other than change oil.

Any? issues with tune and cats? ANY? such as check engine lights or repairs for drivability? I used to love tuned cars till Rennetch screwed me over with my S Class now I cant stand them. I will assume even if refreshed ECU still shows tamper?

    Thanks
