Marking the inaugural year of the turbocharged Carrera model, this 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera S Coupe delivers an output of up to 420 HP to the rear wheels through a Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. Featuring a rare sunroof-delete “slicktop” specification, it comes finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic over a black leather interior and includes optional Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Premium Package Plus, the BOSE Surround Sound System, and Lane Change Assist (LCA) as well as rear-axle steering and 20” Carrera Classic wheels. This Carrera S shows just under 9,500 miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona.
The exterior is finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic including an optional painted rear model designation and PORSCHE logo. Other options include exclusive Sport Tailpipes in Black, LED Headlights in Black, and 20” Carrera Classic wheels in Black (high gloss). The car currently rides on a set of Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 305/30 in the rear and 245/35 in front. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black leather interior includes optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus as well as a heated GT Sport multifunction steering wheel. The driver is also provided with Lane Change Assist (LCA), the BOSE Surround Sound System, and Premium Package Plus which adds auto-dimming mirrors, the Light Design Package, Porsche Entry & Drive, and front seat heating/ventilation.
A twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission that sends as much as 420 HP and 370 lb.-ft torque to the rear wheels. The car was offered as a Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle in October of 2021 and underwent service at Porsche Huntington of New York in September 2022.
