Up for auction is this 2017 Porsche 718 Cayman S finished in Black over a two-tone black and Bordeaux Red “Leather Package” interior. This 2017 example was configured at a cost of over $75k with options including 20” Carrera S wheels, the Sport Chrono Package, and a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Said to have been kept in the original owner’s family from new, this beautifully presented 718 Cayman S is now being offered with only 16k miles showing on the odometer by its seller in Tennessee.
The Black paint is said to be in excellent, garage-kept condition (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). A factory “718” rear model designation is equipped, and red S-type brake calipers can be seen behind the optional 20” Carrera S wheels finished in silver.
Inside, the cabin has been configured with a two-tone black and Bordeaux Red “Leather Package” interior. Other options include a luggage net in the passenger footwell, the smoking package, and Sport Chrono Package. The interior is said to be in exceptional condition with all gauges and electronics working properly.
This Cayman S features a mid-mounted 2.5 L flat-4 turbocharged engine that generates 350 HP, an increase of nearly 25 HP over the previous 3.4 L naturally aspirated version. The turbocharger utilizes Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) in order to achieve a more linear power delivery while putting out 14.5 PSI of boost. A 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission drives the rear wheels allowing this 718 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3.6 seconds. The optional Sport Chrono Package also enables the driver to clock lap times and adjust different performance characteristics while underway. All scheduled service is said to have been kept up to date with most of the work carried out through an authorized Porsche dealership.
