@CJWRacing33 totally agree - this car is a steal considering the depreciation - buy a new one and your 200k is worth less than 180k when you drive it off the lot

@geb217 that's my favorite comment from used car buyers- 'hey they have a new one coming' - yes indeed. for 2x the price! this is a hell of a car for the price- HP to seat ratio is really nice!

@Skenn1977 fair statement - but will cost you close to 200k for same build. This car is a powerful beauty

  • Skenn1977 (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@geb217 Beautiful car, but it's now also the second generation of three with the new '21 turbos hitting the market.

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Bidders - keep in mind this is a $173k 2017 build
( close to 200k for same car today - not much of a difference in the model) with low mileage, CPO, and btw, 0-60 in about 3 seconds.

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

OK - one more oversell comment. A search of Porsche’s pre-owned car locator, Hemmings, and Dupont registry all show this car as likely being the lowest mileage 2017 Panamera Turbo avail in the U.S. today

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Good morning all bidders - final day of auction. Look for a copy of the July ‘19 invoice showing Xpel wrap, ceramic coating and detailing ( +/- $5700), should be posted soon. I’m generally available all day for last minute questions. At the risk of over selling - if you love the Panamera Turbo - you won’t find many nicer than this. Good luck!

@fehrevilo I appreciate the comment. This really is an awesome car that deserves to be driven more than a few thousand miles per year. Anyone that knows the Panamera Turbo and wants one will know the value and bid accordingly. Hopefully the car will get its due in the last hours of the auction. We’ll see

@geb217 Thanks for the information! :)

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@Mikeweiss On 10/31/19, w 16k miles, full service was done at Gold Coast Porsche. In December, new tires mounted and balanced. No service due at present.

  • Mikeweiss (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Hello geb217, has the Porsche 10,000 service (due on or before 5/18) , 20,000 service (due on or before 5/19), and the 30,000 service (due on or before 5/20) been performed? -Thanks

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Worth noting that that the areas of higher paint meter readings are those that were wrapped in Xpel by Detailing Dynamics in Mineola NY - they also did the ceramic coating on the entire body and wheels.

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@Skenn1977 Also - all photos were taken last week, the day before the auction

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@Skenn1977 As you can imagine - the challenge of doing the pre inspection after the auction is done is that if for any reason you decide not to purchase - i have wasted the auction. This car is without any issue at all (I realize that's just my word) - and the CPO should give you comfort if anything significant happens post purchase. You could still conduct a PPI tomorrow if you like - not convenient for me but I can try to accommodate by bringing the car somewhere local. For what it's worth - I always joke that I would love to buy a car from me - as I take care of these like the special cars they are. Hope this helps

  • Skenn1977 (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@geb217 Similar situation, not sure we can get a PPI executed before bidding ends. Also, when were the original photo's taken? Are they current pictures? Thx.

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@Mikeweiss thanks for your interest. Yes, the car was and still is CPO through May 2023. You are welcome to do a PPI but prefer that be done prior to the final bid. That way you can bid with confidence if needed.

  • Mikeweiss (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Hi geb217, would you be willing to allow a PPI after the bidding is over prior to final purchase? When you purchased the car on 8/2019 was it a CPO?

@robertoflay hey - no offense at all. Was a serious question. I too use BAT and this site, I just make a car a “favorite” and it keeps me update on it. The bidding always happens at the end, I know. (I am also not one of those guys that waits until there is 30 seconds left to click “submit” - another strategy I don’t fully get). In any case - this is probably the nicest touring sport sedan made - and in impeccable condition - so good luck and keep your eyes on it. I’m avail for any questions ( about the car that is!) thx

  • robertoflay (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@Mar wise guy for sure, but a bidding wise guy, not a commenter/watcher

  • robertoflay (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@geb217 Like someone else has stated its a way for me to keep on top of the auction as I tend to bid towards the end of the auction the way 99 percent of bids work here and other auction sites run, I've bought and sold cars on BaT standard practice... if I offended you... i don't care =)

  • Mkark21 3 years, 7 monthsago

Bid in the amount of $3,000

  • Lundclan (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@Mar I am not bidding on the car. I just popped in to admire it. I love this country. I have served and defended it my entire life. I also love freedom and letting people live. I tire of the nanny state mentality though. It is like HOAs...everyone wants to tell you how to live. Let's just love the cars and enjoy the bidding process. They start low and end up where the market dictates at any given moment. Early bids have little meaning other than maybe a little fun for the bidder and an easy way to track an auction once you put your hat in the ring. It is no bid deal. Congrats to the guys willing to put their hats in the ring and get the bidding started. Wait for the last 10 minutes. That is when it is interesting.

  • Mar (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@Lundclan my bid would be a bit more appropriate if I were in the market for that car. The great thing about America is that we ALL can say what we want including you and your bid. We all know it’s a pipe dream bid and that’s your right as an american (assuming you are) to say and submit anything you’d like. One of the many great things about this great country. It’s also my right to comment on anything I’d like and to do it anyway I’d like.
Cheers to you my friend. My best wishes for you and a successful bid!!!

  • Lundclan (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Do you all really need to tell everyone else how to bid? Why don't you mind your own business and let people live. Where are you very high appropriate bids? The bidding always takes are of itself. Just chill.

  • Mar (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Geb217 - I think you should be the one kinda offended. If someone would like to be the first bidder, provide a real bid - not some bs fictional number. I get the ball has to get rolling but let it be a bit more realistic as to the value of the car. A true car guy would never throw out a number like that - just a bottom fishing dreamer. My best wishes for a successful sale!!

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

@manuals4ever hey no intent to offend you or anyone - I appreciate the interest. I am familiar with BAT - just didn’t get your strategy. Thx

  • Mar (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Just a wise guy bidding 2.5k. I commented on a previous post that it’s one of the nicest Panameras I’ve seen. And very much appreciate the extra pics.

  • manuals4ever (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

For me, it's a way to keep track and watch the auction. Once you bid you get alerts about other bids on the car. I assume you are aware of Bringatrailer.com. Bidding starts low and ramps quickly with most of the bidding happening at the end. Same concept here. Sad that you had to call out low bidders. GLWTA

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Curious - why would someone submit bids like those below ? Is there a strategy to that? Not being sarcastic - just trying to understand the point of bidding $2500 on a car like this. Thanks

  • MTMark1957 (registered bidder) 3 years, 7 monthsago

Thank you for the trunk and undercarriage photos !

  • robertoflay 3 years, 7 monthsago

    Gorgeous Panamera!
    GLWTA!

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 8 monthsago

Should be seeing pics and vid of Trunk and some quick pics of undercarriage ( best I could do without throwing it on the lift - but should show quality/cleanliness) If not enough, let me know.

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 8 monthsago

@PCarMartJM The actual mileage as of today is 18465. I believe the 17000 was an estimate I gave the guys at Pcar - thanks for catching that.

  • PCarMartJM (registered bidder) 3 years, 8 monthsago

    Hi

I noted in last page of Carfax it shows recent inspection in NY with mileage of 18,317 versus the 17,000 noted in your ad. Could you please clarify the mileage

    Thx

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 8 monthsago

@rocketman I believe I am the 2nd “driving owner”. I think the first transfer was between dealers. Either way, CPO is fully transferable as per Porsche, as long as sale is person to person or thru Porsche dealer.

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 8 monthsago

@MTMark1957 thx for interest. I’ll try to get some trunk and undercarriage photos uploaded today. (But safe for you to assume totally clean). The front tag is mounted to the tow hook ( no drilling) and I have the matching cap for the access hole)

  • MTMark1957 (registered bidder) 3 years, 8 monthsago

    Any undercarriage photos ?
Any photos of the trunk ?
Is the front license plate bracket drilled through the front bumper fascia cover ?
    Thanks

  • rocketman (registered bidder) 3 years, 8 monthsago

You are the third owner ?
Does the CPO warranty cover everything that the original factory warranty covered ?
Is the CPO warranty fully transferable to a new owner ?

  • Mar (registered bidder) 3 years, 8 monthsago

One of the nicest Panameras I’ve seen in quite a while!! From what I see from the pictures, the car reads as new.

  • geb217 (seller) 3 years, 8 monthsago

Seller here - happy to answer any/all questions. Really love this car, very much “like-new”. Why selling? Not using it much as I’m not driving into the city any longer. Have a modest collection and would like to add another older classic. Have bought and sold on sites like this so will be accessible - as I have always felt that helps. Let me know.
