The 6th generation Ford Mustang was introduced in 2013, internally designated as S550, and was equipped with a new independent rear suspension system instead of the Mustang’s traditional live rear axle. This 2018 Mustang GT coupe was ordered in the premium color of Triple Yellow Tri-Coat over an Ebony Cloth interior and was optioned with the rarely seen combination of the Performance Package (PP2), Recaro sport seats, and an active valved performance exhaust system. Acquired by the seller in 2019, this Mustang was said to have been only driven during the summer months and always stored in a garage. Remaining under the coverage of the factory Ford powertrain warranty until March of 2023 and reported to have received annual fluid flushes, this 2018 Mustang GT is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of New York with approximately 26k miles on the odometer.

The exterior is finished in Triple Yellow Tri-Coat (H3), a 3-stage paint selected at an additional cost of $495. Equipment includes automatic LED headlights, LED fog lamps, a black grille, a vented hood, manually folding power-adjustable door mirrors, LED sequential tail lights, black side skirts, a black rear diffuser with integrated quad exhaust tips, and a PP2 Performance Package-specific black front splitter and rear spoiler. The seller reports the paint is protected by a polymer coating, and paint protection film has been applied to the front fascia and lower quarter of the hood under previous ownership. The seller notes a stone chip in the PPF at the lower driver’s side of the front bumper, some chips in the black front grille, curb marks on two of the wheels, and the decklid around the rear spoiler has been touched up under Ford's warranty. This Mustang rides on staggered 19x10.5 front and 19x11 rear aluminum wheels as equipped by the Performance Package, which are mounted on extended wheel studs with Cooper Zeon RS3-GT tires displaying date codes from 2018 measuring 305/30/19 at all four corners. 

The interior features 6-way adjustable Recaro sport seats upholstered in Ebony cloth with silver contrast stitching throughout, with matching door panels, and black carpet, accented by silver trim across the dashboard. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8” color display with navigation, Apple Carplay, a reverse camera, and Ford Sync 3, a digital driver’s information display in the instrument cluster, push-button ignition, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, auxiliary gauges in the center stack for oil pressure and vacuum/boost, Mustang-branded illuminated door sills, black floormats with red stitching, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, reverse sensors, customizable interior ambient lighting, and Ford Track Apps, which displays performance information on the driver’s information display.

The Mustang GT is equipped with a 5.0L “Coyote” V8, and this example features the Ford Performance Tune and a larger throttle body which is said to increase the output up to 480 HP and 438 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a Torsen rear axle with 3.73 gearing and limited-slip differential, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 157 MPH. Performance features include  Magneride adaptive dampers, electronic power-assisted steering, an independent rear suspension, line-lock, a valved performance exhaust system, and multiple selectable suspension and driving modes. A Ford Performance tune, a larger throttle body, and a Blowfish transmission mount have been added by the seller. The seller reports that under their ownership the oil has been changed twice a year, and the transmission, differential, and brake fluid have been changed annually.
