With a dramatic presence and screaming V12 engine, the Aventador was launched as Lamborghini’s new flagship supercar in 2011, replacing the Murcielago, and was more recently announced as the final model to be powered solely by a gasoline engine. The Aventador S LP740-4 debuted in 2016 with revised styling and technology, reworked suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and a more powerful engine rated at 730 HP. This 2018 Coupe is finished in Rosso Efesto over a Nero leather interior and had spent time in Florida before being acquired by the current owner. It features optional Exterior Details in Carbon Fiber, 20”/21” Dianthus forged center-lock wheels, Rosso Alala interior stitching, and an upgraded Heffner exhaust system. This Lamborghini is now being offered for auction out of Arizona while showing approximately 6k miles on the odometer.
With a claimed increase in downforce of 130% compared to the original model, the updated Aventador S features a redesigned front end with a larger splitter and additional air ducts, as well as a new rear diffuser with triple exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Rosso Efesto, added at a cost of approximately $15k, along with matching brake calipers. The engine is showcased beneath an optional louvered glass cover and the car rides on optional 20”/21” Dianthus forged center-lock wheels in gloss black. Additional options include the Style Package, Visibility and Light Package, and Exterior Details in Carbon Fiber. Inside, this Aventador S features a Sportivo interior in Nero leather upholstery with contrasting Rosso Alala stitching and accents. Additional options include matching red seatbelts, the Branding Package, interior details in high gloss black, a multifunction steering wheel, power-adjustable and heated seats, interior trim in leather, and a garage door opener.
The Aventador S equips a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces up to 730 HP and 509 lb.-ft of torque, sent to all four wheels through a 7-speed ISR Graziano automated manual gearbox. The Coupe accelerates from 0-60 MPH in as little as 2.8 seconds and goes on to a top speed of 217 MPH. Standard performance features include carbon ceramic brakes and Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Attiva (LDVA) active suspension with selectable Sport, Strada, Corsa, and Ego (individual) drive modes. The seller states that this car has been fitted with an upgraded Heffner exhaust system. The CARFAX report shows a total of 25 service history entries dating back to the initial delivery.
