Up for auction is this low mileage 2018 Porsche 718 Boxster S finished in Paint to Sample Gulf Orange over a black interior. The latest generation of Porsche’s highly acclaimed mid-engine roadster, the 718 was debuted with updated bodywork and a new turbocharged-flat four engine. This 2018 Boxster S showcases a 6-speed manual gearbox as well as factory exclusive styling including high-gloss black exterior accents, 20” Carrera S wheels, the Painted Exterior Package, and Sport Tailpipes in Black. Highlighting a clean one-owner history on CARFAX while remaining protected by its original factory warranty, this generously optioned Boxster S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts with just over 3k miles traveled from new.
This 718 was custom ordered in the classic nonmetallic Paint to Sample shade of Gulf Orange. The exterior finish is carried throughout the car with the exclusive Painted Exterior Package, painted model designations, and painted supplemental roll bars. Other unique details include optional Sport Tailpipes in black, door handles in high-gloss black, a rear wing in high-gloss black, and model designation decals along both doors. This example rides on factory optioned 20” Carrera S wheels finished in high gloss black and dressed in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.

Powering this Boxster S is a turbocharged 2.5L flat-four engine featuring Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG). 350 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox, providing for a 0-60 time of just over 4 seconds. All maintenance is reportedly up to date including a recent preemptive 20k mile service in 2021 consisting of a brake fluid flush as well as oil and filter changes.

That’s a gorgeous car but I wonder if the Lava Orange reference is correct? I don’t see such a reference on either the sticker or spec sheet. I have a Lava Orange Carrera T, and this shade is significantly darker than my car. Good luck with the auction, someone is going to get a nice car here.
