Configured at an MSRP of approximately $84k, this example features a 7-speed PDK transmission, painted safety bars & rear logos, Premium Package Plus, Sport Chrono Package, Sport Tailpipes in Black, 20” Carrera Sport wheels in High Gloss Black, and much more. Garage-stored and meticulously maintained, this one-owner Boxster was previously listed on PCARMARKET and is now being offered for auction out of New York with just over 13k miles on the odometer.

This 718 is finished in Jet Black Metallic with a matching cabriolet soft top and features painted headlight cleaning system covers, rear logos, and roll bars. It rides on optional 20” Carrera Sport wheels painted High Gloss Black with colored Porsche crests and Pirelli P Zero tires from 2018 and 2022. Bi-Xenon Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System were also opted for, along with Sport Tailpipes in Black.

The cabin presents two-tone Black and Chalk upholstery as part of the Leather Package. Optional features include 14-way Power Sport Seats with Memory Package, power-folding exterior mirrors, a navigation module for Porsche Communication Management (PCM), Porsche Connect Plus, the Bose Surround Sound System, and the Sport Chrono Package which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. The Premium Package Plus also adds Porsche Entry & Drive, automatically dimming mirrors with rain sensors, the Light Design Package, two-zone automatic climate control, and seat heating.

The turbocharged 2.0-liter flat-four engine delivers up to 300 HP and 280 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through an optional 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The Sport Chrono Package was opted for, allowing the 718 Boxster to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in less than just 4.5 seconds with a top speed of over 170 MPH. The seller adds that a manufacturer's wheel & tire coverage remains in effect until April 2024. The CARFAX report shows a total of 10 service history entries dating back to the initial delivery.

This sale will include a clean title (lien), two keys, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a car cover, and a battery charger.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for taking an interest in my vehicle. I am the original owner. I purchased the car in Los Angeles in 2019. I have meticulously cared for my vehicle throughout the 4 years I've had it. The car has never been driven in the rain or snow. I have two brand new back tires (Porsche has not recommended front tire replacement yet as of today). This Boxster is one of the sleekest and stylish designs I've ever seen for this model. The car gets plenty of compliments everywhere it goes. It is a big head-turner. It has Sport and Sport Plus driving modes for extra torque and a launch control feature for a very powerful start off the line. The 20" 911 wheels are in mint condition, adding extra style and beauty to this magnificently appointed 718.”

    @aaacooled911
That is fairly normal for drilled rotors that have a few miles under their belt. You get crud in the holes and that transfers to the pads creating the "grooves". If you look close, you will see that they line up with the holes. They are more visual than actual deep cuts.
There is a huge debate on the use of drilled/slotted rotors in general; just google it, but this is no cause for concern.

@JDeRosaNYC Thanks. That is exactly the reply I was hoping for. That is all the transparency I need

The riisk to the bidder involving a potentially large loan on a “no reserve” auction with a lien attached is not adequately addressed by the PCarMarket website.

Glad to hear bidders can bid here with confidence.

    Thanks for the quick reply

  • JDeRosaNYC (seller) 5 months, 1 weekago

@1LegalEagle the lien has no bearing on what you pay for the car. The winning bidder will not have to pay ‘extra’ on the price. The amount of the lien is irrelevant. You would first pay off the lien to Porsche then you would send me the remaining monies depending on what the winning bid number is. It’s simple subtraction. The lien is just a few thousand dollars . Hypothetically let’s say the winning bid is 40k and the lien is 5k. You pay the lien to the bank and then send 35k to my account. Nice and easy. Good luck!

  • 1LegalEagle 5 months, 1 weekago

Bid carefully. According to PCarMarket, THE BUYER pays off the lien to the bank, then pays the remainder to the buyer. No word from them yet regarding their protocol involving a jumbo loan that exceeds the winning bid. Does not knowing the lien amount place the bidder on the hook for an owing an amount in excess of their bid?
I will pass on any communication I receive from PCarMarket on this unclear portion of their contract.

In the mean time, I ask the seller, please, what is the amount of the loan outstanding on this wonderful car? Just tell me if it is below the current max bid for my peace of mind before bidding. If it isn’t I will not bid until I hear back from PCarMarket

@halvkd launch control has been used a couple of times. It’s FUN!!

And unfortunately I don’t have the time to have the tire replaced. However I’m happy that the new owner can have it replaced at no cost under the included tire insurance policy.

  • halvkd (registered bidder) 5 months, 1 weekago

Two q's: Approximately how many times has launch control been used?

Is is possible for you to have Huntington Porsche replace the bubbled tire before delivery to the buyer?

  • Cheecho (registered bidder) 5 months, 1 weekago

@aaacooled911 they look brand new to me, those look like the grooves from factory, that re present before they are worn in.

@aaacooled911 no track time. Calipers are in mint condition.

  • aaacooled911 (registered bidder) 5 months, 1 weekago

@JDeRosaNYC Was the car tracked or auto-X. ?
Appears to be a fair amount of wear (grooves) on brake rotors for a 13k mile car.

Good day everyone! Upon preparing the vehicle for delivery, I noticed a small air bubble in the front right tire. Please keep in mind this will be 💯 covered under the Porsche transferable wheel and tire coverage policy in place until April 2024. Thanks and good luck!

  • JDeRosaNYC (seller) 5 months, 1 weekago

@wcf13021 Thank you for your inquiry. Please contact PCarMarket directly for any questions regarding financials.

  • wcf13021 (registered bidder) 5 months, 1 weekago

Will the lien be paid prior to end of auction? How will lien be paid ? By seller ?

  • TCar996TT 5 months, 1 weekago

So the car is not yet paid off, correct? What is the amount of the lein?

  • JDeRosaNYC (seller) 5 months, 1 weekago

@nav5 also I wouldn’t worry about replacing any tires until absolutely necessary. There is still a wheel and tire insurance policy in place until Apr 2024. If anything happens to a tire or rim including road scrape/rash, Porsche repairs or replaces at no cost to the vehicles’s owner.

@nav5 Hi! Only the front tires have been replaced as per Porsche’s recommendation last year. Porsche still hasn’t recommended rear wheel replacement as of today.

Regarding all of the tires that were replaced, is it fair to say that all 4 have been replaced at least once? Just wondering if of the 4 tires, one will be needing replacement soon? Thanks

Hello Everyone! Welcome to my auction! I’m the proud owner of this magnificently appointed 718 Boxster for nearly five years running. Meticulously maintained and in mint condition, this model has several upgraded options compared to traditional 718 Boxsters. Among my personal favorites (besides the stunning 911 20” painted wheels) are the optioned Sport Chrono package with Sport and Sport Plus modes for faster torque and power. Additionally, this example features Porsche’s coveted Launch Control option, adding even more speed and power straight off the line, with the ability to rival almost any car on the street. Beautifully designed and never been driven in the rain or snow. Only 13k mikes to boot this vehicle is a true 718 masterpiece. Happy bidding everyone and good luck!!
