We are pleased to present this 2018 Porsche 991.2 Carrera T finished in GT Silver Metallic over a black leather interior with Guards Red stitching. Built in limited quantities, the Carrera T was debuted as a lightweight driver-oriented 911 with standard performance features including PASM Sport lowered suspension, the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust, and a 7-speed manual gearbox with limited-slip differential.  With just over 11k miles on the odometer and an original window sticker totaling nearly $120k, this Carrera T is now being listed by its selling dealer out of Rochester, NY.

The GT Silver Metallic finish is said to be in beautiful condition with only minor chips present on the front bumper (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). A protective ceramic coating has also been applied over the full exterior. This Carrera T was factory optioned with the deletion of the side logos as well as a “911” rear designation. The rear tires are said to have been replaced within the last 2,500 miles.

Inside, the black leather interior has been optioned with deviated Guards Red stitching. Unique features for the Carrera T include lightened rear and side glass, deleted rear seats, and a short-throw shifter. A breakdown of the factory options is included below:

  • Carrera T Interior Package
  • Luggage Net in Passenger Footwell
  • Smoking Package
  • Deletion of '911 Carrera T' Side Logo
  • Model Designation "911"
  • Bose Surround Sound System
  • GT Sport Steering Wheel and Manual Gear Lever in Alcantara
  • Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way)
  • Premium Package
  • Chrono Package with Porsche Track Precision App
  • Sport Chrono Clock Dial in Guards Red
  • Sun Visors in Alcantara
  • Leather Interior in Black with Carrera T Interior Package, Contrasts in Guards Red

This second-generation 991 comes equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that produces 370 HP, which is sent through a 7-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels.  A limited-slip differential is equipped as standard along with the Sport Chrono Package and Sport Exhaust.  This Carrera T is said to be in pristine driving condition, having been kept up to date on all routine service through the selling dealership.  Service records are included and a DME report is provided for reference in the photo gallery.

This sale will include the original window sticker and a clean title. Offering the best of modern performance coupled with a visceral manual gearbox and other driver-oriented features, this Carrera T is not to be missed.

I consider myself fortunate to have bumped into my 911T, found by chance last fall. Original owner traded it back to the selling dealer towards a GT3. His loss, my gain. Owned many 911s over the past 40 years and this ones a keeper. Rear wheel steering makes this car turn like my 993, worth the money. My research shows under 1200 imported to North America. GLWS

@NotAnother911 , We are not trying to mislead anyone about where this car has been listed. We are a Porsche dealer and part of a larger dealer group. We did have the car listed for sale on our website before listing it with PCARMARKET. I am not an IT professional so I can't tell you the technical reasons why it popped back up on one of our other websites but it did. As soon as it was brought to our attention the situation was fixed. I am not sure what more you want.

This is a great car with ZERO overrevs in any range, no paint work, a clean CARFAX, both keys, original window sticker, books, and original sales brochure that we have represented honestly and accurately! If you aren't interested in the car you are under no obligation to bid.

@wilkins I didn't click the link in the other comment. I went directly to the dealer's website to see who they were and figure out if it was or was not a CPO car before bidding.

drivegarber.com had this car for sale on their own website until after I posted my comment at about 10:15 pacific time this morning. Now they're being less than truthful about where it had been posted. Really not cool.

  • GarberPAM (seller) 3 years, 3 monthsago

@noahkl @noahkl, that was our exact reasoning behind offering the CPO warranty as an option. Either way The next owner chooses to go the car has gone through the same thorough inspection process. No negotiating price and no hassle.

If they want the CPO warranty we have offered to add that at what it cost us, if they don’t they do not have to pay extra for it.

  • GarberPAM (seller) 3 years, 3 monthsago

Hello to all interested parties, we did pull this car off of our website as well as all others but apparently it has reappeared on a couple websites. We are working to correct this again.

  • noahkl (registered bidder) 3 years, 3 monthsago

I own an DD a '19T that I purchased used from a P dealership 13 months ago. I asked them why it was not a CPO car. And they truthfully answered that since most S. FL buyers are on a 3-4 year turnover with their 911 s their is no need to force the customer to pay extra for the extended warranty rather it is an option. And yes driving a T is AWESOME!

@NotAnother911 For the uninitiated, the auction website will charge your credit card for the premium as soon as the auction closes if it hits reserve. If the winning bidder gets annoyed because the dealer tries to tack on the admitted $3,500 for the CPO warranty or something for tire insurance, wheel insurance, ceramic coating, a second key fob, or whatever else, and they back out of the deal, the $4-5k auction fee is non-refundable.

We're bidding and paying a premium for the right to negotiate with a Porsche dealership.

  • NotAnother911 (registered bidder) 3 years, 3 monthsago

@wilkins the car is still very much active on the dealer's website right now.

Someone asked a while ago about CPO and the seller just responded now it's NOT a CPO car if it sells here unless you pay an extra $3,500. So... we win this auction and then get to start negotiating with a dealership on the rust undercoating? YIKES!

  • PCARMARKET 3 years, 3 monthsago

@NotAnother911 Please make no mistake that the car is exclusive to PCARMARKET and should sell today via the auction. We have had some issues with the sellers web dept and due to the long-term relationship with the seller have allowed it to stay on there during the course of the sale. Any interested parties were directed to Bid on the car.

  • wilkins 3 years, 3 monthsago

@NotAnother911 Not questioning that it may be for sale somewhere else, and if it is, that's messed up. But I looked yesterday and again just now and am not seeing it for sale on that dealer's website. Am I missing something? The original link provided earlier by amiracle just gives a list of all cars for sale by that dealer, and this car is not among them.

As someone else already pointed out, this exact car is still currently listed as CPO on the selling dealer's Porsche/Audi website. I'm a very serious buyer, but this auction is probably a waste of our time. The dealer took new pictures for this auction to make it look more like a private sale. Not cool.

Pcarmarket doesn't require sellers to remove cars being auctioned from other online sales platforms?

I have one of these wonderful cars but in Racing Yellow. I've owned (7) 911's and this one is one of my favorites. Feels light and has more than enough power. I will attach a video from it being tested on Car and Driver Lightning Lap 2019. The manual is the way to go and are in demand by Porsche fans everywhere.

@indapaint , This 911 T is equipped with the steel brakes and the much more usable 18 - way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus.

Does this car come with ceramic seats and ceramic brakes? Thank you

  • GarberPAM (seller) 3 years, 3 monthsago

Hello All, I haven't been able to get PCARMARKET to update the listing today but they do have the DME report showing NO over revs in any range. This vehicle comes with the original window sticker, both keys, all manuals, and an original sales brochure. Please let me know if I can answer any questions or help in any way.

  • GarberPAM (seller) 3 years, 3 monthsago

@Manpot @Manpot, I believe PCARMARKET used the general information they had on the 911 T. The rear seats are standard unless the car was ordered with the Full Bucket Seat (P11) option.

  • Manpot 3 years, 3 monthsago

Nice late model, desirable P car..but for a car with "rear seat delete" those certainly look like rear seta with belts.

  • GarberPAM (seller) 3 years, 3 monthsago

@Keadog @Keadog, Thanks for the questions. I have sent a DME report to PCARMARKET. The car has ZERO over rev's in any range. It is not CPO'd but is eligible for it for an extra cost of $3,500. The original 4 year / 50,000 mile warranty expires 4/23/2022 and Certification would add an additional 2 years.

  • Keadog 3 years, 3 monthsago

Could you post a recent DME report with date/mileage when logged and clarify if the car is CPO and, if so, what is the CPO warranty end date?
If I missed either or both, apologies.
Nice build. I would have only added leather MFSW and LCA. This car should do well...
