This 2018 Porsche 991.2 GT3 is finished in GT Silver Metallic over a black leather and Alcantara interior with Platinum Grey stitching. It touts a desirable 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission paired with its naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine. It was configured with optional Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the Chrono Package, Satin Black wheels, painted interior trim, the Front Axle Lift System, illuminated door sills, Alcantara sun visors, and more. Originally specified for European Delivery at the Porsche factory in Stuttgart, this example has been driven just over 3k miles from new and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
This 991.2 wears GT Silver Metallic paint contrasted by 20” 911 GT3 center-lock wheels in Satin Black, exclusive LED headlights in Black, and tinted taillights. The car rides on a set of factory-mounted Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Clear European-style side marker lenses have been installed and paint protection film is applied over the nose section. The seller states the front bumper was replaced following damage caused by improper towing procedures and notes the car saw track use on one occasion during their ownership.
Inside, the driver is greeted by a black leather and Alcantara interior with deviated Platinum Grey stitching and optional painted trim pieces. Other optional details include an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a 12 O’clock marker in red, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, a BOSE Surround Sound System, sun visors in Alcantara, illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel, and aluminum pedals and footrest. The seller states that all floor-mounted computer modules, connectors, and amplifiers were replaced and professionally reprogrammed following the flood damage reported on CARFAX in October 2021, and a rebuilt/salvage title was issued as a result.
The 991.2 GT3 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing up to 500 HP and 339 lb.-ft of torque. This example equips a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission that drives the rear wheels through a mechanically locking differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). Other standard performance features on the GT3 include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and rear-axle steering. The last recorded service was completed by Porsche of Larchmont in December 2021 at just over 2k miles.
This sale will include a rebuilt/salvage title.

Sold for $135,000
Bid in the amount of $135,000
@britco4 to be honest, I got It for more than that, that’s not an accurate number
Sold Copart 1 year ago $112,000 + repairs + target profit - 1000 miles...
I doubt it's RNM.
$131.5K + $5K fee + $tax and registration + 4 year service ($2k) = ton of dough for a flood car.
best of luck to the buyer!
@visionxp the real question is if the reserve was met...
it's all yours!

Apologies on the title, I did not see it earlier.
@KCnSF I’ve posted plenty of info, responded to as many comments as possible, I’ve responded to someone’s comment about the title as well, there’s plenty of photos, even a pic of the title, all the info is there
@KCnSF lmao this guy tryna throw everyone else off the sale so he get it cheap
@KSIM FWIW seller, you're doing yourself a huge disservice by not having the simplest of items addressed. 1) Not titled in over a year, so no idea if there will be titling issues for the new buyer, 2) no DME report or other requested documentation, 3) and just an overall feeling you've done the absolute minimum to list at auction. You'd be receiving a ton more interest and bids had these small issues been addressed. Good luck to you as this could be a smoking deal for the buyer, but it's just way too much risk for me to take on. RNM is my guess.
@Aiello11 no issues registering, it’s rebuilt title meaning it’s already gone through the salvage inspection and is ready to register
Okay so is this a rebuilt title then any issues with registering.
@KCnSF no I usually Use a dealer plate
@KSIM So in a year you never had the car plated/registered?
Bid in the amount of $75,500
@visionxp unfortunately I couldnt Get a dme report in time with my schedule and the dealers schedule, and yes that is my old 350z plates I had a written temp reg on the car to take it out for photos. I’ve only had the car for about a year and It is now due for an oil change which I will Have done before buyer takes ownership
one last question - is the car currently registered AND titled in your name? The license plate on the car pulls up as belonging to a 2006 Nissan 350Z, which is odd.
do we have the DME readout? @KSIM - has the service you mentioned was going to happen this week been completed? Is this an oil change only? Or the 4 year service with spark plugs, serpentine belt, air filters, oil change, etc? I know there is a multi thousand $ cost difference.
It sounds like the only fluids replaced after the car flooded were the engine oil (drain and fill without oil filter replacement) so i was hoping the tech notes from this latest service and a DME readout would be available prior to close of auction today.

@visionxp The oil has been drained and refilled with new oil to inspect and yes I actually Have an appointment for an actual oil change this coming week and will provide documents for that
Thanks for responding. Can you also answer the other questions?
2. Which fluids have been replaced post flood?
3. When was the car last serviced? It would have been due for the 4 yr service, regardless of mileage. The video shows that the oil change is due “now”.
4. Do you have documentation for the service and fluid replacements, if any of it was done during your ownership?
@visionxp used parts, I have The receipts for all, all parts were very low mileage, the water did not get as high as the speakers and to be honest I dont Think it even reached the wheel hubs, everything works properly and the dealer inspected everything
@GazDriver most insurance companies total cars out completely over something as small as that, I know Cause I’ve bought flooded trucks that look like they never touched the water and they lasted 4 years before I sold Them to upgrade the fleet. The carpets with the foam were dried out for over a month and if there was anything left in them the car would most likely smell bad and there would be moisture on the glass which there is not, I’ve driven the car 1500 miles since I purchased It and had done the repairs and it hasn’t skipped a beat, there’s no oil analysis and there’s only one key, This is how I got The car, I do Not have a window sticker but I did Get a build sheet which is posted in the gallery
Surprised no one has asked this. The carfax glossary states a salvage title is issued when a car’s damage exceeds 75% of it’s worth. That’s probably around $130k in damages, which would lead me to assume a major component? In a modern 911, the exhaust port is about where the seat rails are…if level. I’m curious if there is an insurance appraisal document or State inspection document that discloses the “damage”? Was there a post-flood oil analysis, of engine case or transmission? Flood photos that were presented to insurance? Is there a second key? Or window sticker or manuals? Were the foam floor pads replaced? Flood water can carry some unfriendly biological material. Sorry for the many questions, but the gallery just barely scratches the surface for me.
This should be very interesting. Depending upon the reserve, someone might get a great car at a super bargain.
Bid in the amount of $35,000
A few questions:
1. Where the modules listed replaced with new Porsche parts or used? Do you have receipts for parts? It looks like dealer only programmed them.
2. Which fluids have been replaced post flood? If the water got as high as the speakers, i would think you’d want to replace engine oil and gearbox fluid at a minimum.
3. When was the car last serviced?
4. Do you have documentation for the service and fluid replacements?
5. Have the center locking hubs been checked for water intrusion?
6. Where damaged speakers replaced, and do they all work now?
Thanks!

@xios3 contact me, tomorrow night might work
@KSIM Let me know if I can come tomorrow
@britco4 water never got that high, fluids were checked, yes this was an Ida storm car, it was parked when it happened, the front has ppf but the front bumper does not. It was replaced and painted due to improper towing
Did any water showed up in fluid changes after the flood damage? Were all fluids replaced after the flood? Is there any thing else to disclose on the flood & resulting needed repairs? Was high water from storm Ida rain waters? Does it have front end PPF? Thanks & GLWTA...
@xios3 yes, it’s gone through salvage inspection in NY and has a NY title so it’s good to go, and of course you can come see it
can this car be registered in NY? can i come see it?
@tkenna2 yes in the pics there’s a receipt from the Porsche dealer after repairs were made, they programmed the new modules and inspected the car, I am Working on getting a dme report, it’s been difficult getting an appointment, I will Have one posted soon
Is there Porsche dealer paperwork about the post flood cleaning and repairs?
Also, is there a DME report for over rev history?

What’s up everyone, just putting this comment to answer possible questions. Vehicle is ready to register, salvage inspection has already been done in NY, insurance is not an issue as I have Insurance on it right now, it was a fresh water flood and only got as high as the carpet, all connectors were thoroughly cleaned to avoid the slim chance of any corrosion, all modules on the floor were replaced and then programmed by dealer, carpets completely dried out, car still smells new, everything was taken care of properly. any questions at all please feel free to leave a comment and I’ll respond to it soon as I can
