@time_4_porsche Not sure what you mean. The GT3 is one of the most raw engaging cars on the market already. Speedster is essentially a luxury convertible GT3.

  • time_4_porsche 3 years, 1 monthago

@jeweijer lol, I guess it isn't anymore engaging? Bummer, I thought it would be a more raw 981 Spyder.

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@time_4_porsche @time_4_porsche: Its very similar to the GT3 - just double the price :)

  • time_4_porsche 3 years, 1 monthago

@jeweijer That's awesome. I'd love to hear some feedback on that car once you drive it some. I have a 981 Spyder myself and always wondered besides a 911R, what would be the best GT car for the road? 991 Speedster and 997 GT cars came to mind. Open top just seems to always add more to the sound experience (I live in the Bay Area so weather is mostly nice).

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@time_4_porsche Silver Metallic over black leather with red stitching :). Warranty until Jan 2026 . I am the second owner, but has less than 2,000 miles. Interested in buying it? LOL

  • time_4_porsche 3 years, 1 monthago

    @jeweijer ooo speedster, which color?

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Dozer Tires have 2,500 street miles. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Good condition.

Paint all original, other than two small spots which you won't notice unless you do a very close up inspection is in very good condition. It has the clear bra protection on the front and sides.

  • alert 3 years, 1 monthago

Very interested to see what this goes for, might have to sell my sapphire blue gt3 as well.

  • Dozer (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

Paint all original? How are the tires? Thanks.

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Tbt323 no worries I get the question. I own a few exotic cars and usually trade them in with the dealer get a new one or in my case i just purchased a speedster. I would keep the car, but my speedster is a manual too.

  • Tbt323 (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

@LeJerk as a possible buyer, I see it as a fair and valid question that I would ask any seller of a car I’m serious about.
You are obviously entitled to your opinion/comment, which has not helped me at all in this auction. I’ve made a binder of all the history I have found for my 3RS. Let’s just move on if the seller doesn’t want to answer.

  • LeJerk 3 years, 1 monthago

@Tbt323 "Why are you selling" is always a loaded question and always negatively impacts the seller. What would be a positive reason they can say to that, that would make you want to buy the car more? Even them saying something like "too much power", could be viewed negatively by some people who may not want a car that they couldn't handle.

  • Tbt323 (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

@TMR3 It’s all part of the story of the car. Is it a flip (likely not in this instance), has a new steed caught the current owners eyes (maybe), or has he run into issues with the car (well at least this comes with the warranty, right)? I know if I buy a ~2 year old car from a dealer with a $6k warranty it’s not with the intention of selling it in six months. If you are going to buy this car, wouldn’t you want to be able to explain to the next owner about this short stint of ownership? I would because care to understand the care and history behind a special car. Do I care about this for an Accord, 4Runner, Model 3? No

  • TMR3 (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Tbt323 always thought this was a strange question.

  • Tbt323 (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

Beautiful car. Can you please comment on why you are selling the car after only six months of ownership?

@jeweijer Feedback Porsche on service history:

    - Front lip replaced (car is quite low and the front lip can get damaged but replacement is easy and fairly cheap (~$200).

    - Tires replaced twice

    - vibration at idle in passenger door by speaker area- resolved (not sure about the issue) but it was resolved and I never had an issue or felt a vibration

    - Exhaust; the first owner also had a different exhaust on the car; removed factory one, installed after market unit. Upon trade in Porsche reinstalled the factory one, but when i purchased the car i installed the sharkwerk one at the dealer.

    - Brakes; I had the brakes tested and a brake flush performed. All is in good condition.

  • Bmwracer (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

@jeweijer cool, thanks! Just going by what my guy at the local dealer told me.

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Bmwracer The paperwork of the extended warranty is uploaded. It was purchased with the car in October. It is the Porsche warranty. No third party. Your comment that you cannot get extended manufactory warranty without CPO is incorrect. As I mentioned; CPO was an option but I preferred extended porsche warranty as it is transferable on a trade in. CPO is not.

Okay, last comment....maybe, lol. Just trying to get as much info as possible in the absence of the dme report. I’m really not trying to be a PITA, lol. First, if we could get the warranty paperwork uploaded that would be great. I sent cars info to my guy at our dealership and he was saying he didn’t see any warranty extension on the car and that it wouldn’t be possible to do that through Porsche without the car being CPO’d. He even sent me screenshots of everything he could find. So, was the warranty maybe through an aftermarket company? Just curious as to why you wouldn’t pay for the car to be CPO’d (which would carry additional warranty), but would then turn around 2 months later and spend $6k on another warranty? Again, not trying to be a dick, just trying to get as much info as possible since a bad report could greatly affect the value. I also talked to your dealer this afternoon to inquire about it and they said that a report was pulled in June 2020, but he couldn’t tell me the results. Maybe they could give the results to you, since you’re the owner? At least that would show how most of its life has been up till your ownership. It’s a badass ride and I’d love to have it, but just want to ensure it’s as advertised for the amount of money it would cost. Thanks

@Bmwracer Denver CO, had 27 Inch of snow in the last two days. The car is garaged and I am not planning on taking it out on the road until they are full clear which may not happen for another week. It will be hard to drive it to the dealer and hooked up for a dme report. Again; you will only find normal standard road use - at least for the time I owned the car - and i have driven it for almost 3,000 miles with zero issues.

My dealer did get back with me; they too are snowed in, and expect to provide additional color on the service history tomorrow. I will also ask the PC car guys to upload the paperwork of the extended Porsche factory warranty which was issued by Porsche in October 2020.

    Again;

  • Bmwracer (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

@jeweijer , when you hear back from them can you ask about the dme report and if they have any history from it? I’d think they’d probably run one when granting the extended warranty? If not, would it be possible to get someone to you to check out the car and run it for me (if I can find someone in your area)?

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Numbersguy7 Thank you for your interest. Per the carfax, the car is clean, and always been serviced at the local dealer; Porsche Colorado Springs.

During my ownership I had zero issues with it, but had it in for service three times. Upon purchase I installed 4 new tires. Within the same month (200 miles later) I had a puncture (screw) and replaced the applicable tire with a new. Separately I did a brake flush. Each visit is / was logged - (3 carfax logs). I am not aware of any previous issues but I do know the car has been well serviced. Even during the time the car was for sale by Porsche - there were a few Carfax service log- including carwashes. I don't know how these carfax logs work.

I made an inquiry to verify the extend on previous maintenance and will advise back if / when i receive feedback.

  • Numbersguy7 (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

Great color and spec. Interested in bidding. The car has had all service done at the same service center, have you inquired about the nature of the prior service visits ? This car has had 17 service visits in three years. 6 in 2018, 6 in 2019, and 5 in 2020.

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Hammbone50 If u want the stock muffler, a friend has an extra in stock with 1,000 miles since new. Happy to sell it for a few bucks or exchange it for the sharkwerk one currently installed.

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Bmwracer It was an option but i didn’t want to pay for it as it 1) is under extended warranty which is similar to cpo and 2) cpo is not transferred when trading in a car, factory warranty is.

  • Bmwracer (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

Do you know why the car is not showing up as CPO by Porsche?

  • Ddesimone17 (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

As an owner of a .2 gt3 the sharkwerks exhaust nice upgrade sounds way better
If you really want an original center I’m sure they can be found in rennlist for not much money
Level 3 and above porsche will question / deny the warranty on the motor

    Gorgeous car !

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Bmwracer The car is great, hasn’t been tracked, has extended porsche factory warranty for which I paid $6k in October. It covers engine and systems. I can ask the pcar guys to upload the warranty paperwork as I did provide this to them but it’s like 10 pages. I can’t comment on what your local advisor told you, but my advisor - porsche Colorado Springs who original sold the car, serviced it, and sold me the car - told me the car is under full warranty until dec 2023. You re welcome to contact them. I don’t know what applied when you abuse the car, as I treasure it, treat it as such and don’t race it. I have been very upfront with everything including highlighting the tinniest paint imperfections. I want the next person to be extremely happy with it as I have been.

  • Bmwracer (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

So is there no chance of getting a DME report before the end of the auction? Just asking because my max without the report is a lot lower than it would be with a clean report. I actually spoke with my service advisor at the local dealership about a car’s report that had a level 4 over rev just the other day, and he told me that the motor would not be covered if an over rev was found. I can’t remember at what level he said, but it was either at 3 or 4 where he said that any warranty claim would not be honored.

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@Hammbone50 it’s not. It’s a fair question but please do some research (YouTube :)) and you will find that you don’t want the original exhaust ones you have a sharkwerk, it’s an upgrade and you don’t want to go back. The exhaust is made for the car. It’s not some knockoff muffler. I’m sure most people or dealers would greatly trade in this exhaust for the factory one for free. Not sure why u would...

  • Hammbone50 3 years, 1 monthago

Is the original exhaust included in sale?

@subzerowins I don't have a DME report. The car runs great, no issues, and no track time. In the event there would be an issue - the car is under extended Porsche warranty, engine included, good until Dec 2023.

  • subzerowins (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

Would it be possible to get a DME report for the car? Thanks.

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@10figs The car has not been resprayed or not been in a body shop.

Bid in the amount of $115,000

  • 10figs (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

@jeweijer I meant “respray” in previous comment not the spell checker “resorts” ?

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@10figs I don't have a paint-reader, and neither did I think it would needed. I tried to be as transparent as possible to highlight the slightest discrepancy.

The GT3 is supposed to be an awesome track car but I have never tracked it. I have taken it for an occasional drive in the mountains, highway drive, or city but relatively easy driving. In the event there would be an issue - the car is under extended Porsche warranty, engine included, good until Dec 2023.

  • 10figs (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

@jeweijer thanks for the reply, the paint meter check was more to see if there was any discrepancy in the level of the paint due to resorts, etc.

Any DME report available? Wanted to see the rev range activity? Have you tracked the GT3?

    Thanks again for being responsive!

  • jeweijer (seller) 3 years, 1 monthago

@10figs @10figs; The car and paint are in great condition. If you walk around it you won't see any imperfections unless you do a very close up check. I didn't want to hide anything so I did take close up pictures.

    1) The scratch on the roof/top is so thin that it can likely be corrected through a simple wax job. It is not deep and I didn't even notice it until I made these pictures last week.

    2) there is a very small fade at the very bottom near the rear tire . It was there when I purchased the car and it is not noticeable unless you know it is there and would do a close up inspection. Again it is not a deep scratch, but a very light fade.

The car is 2018, with 7,500 miles. I don't have a painter meter reading which I think is more common for older cars? This car has been taken care off, always hand washed, never been waxed (at least not during my ownership), always garaged and looks great.

  • 10figs (registered bidder) 3 years, 1 monthago

Are the paint imperfections superficial and can be buffed out? Or are they too deep for paint correction? Please provide close up pics and paint meter readings if available. Thanks!
