@Tybalt1000 haha I love it! That’s such a great memory to have with them!
@DKGT3 congrats! I routinely take all 3 kids with me in my 997.2 C4S Cab - its my daily with 3 kids!
A driving video has been added to the listing.
@Tybalt1000 we found out that we are expecting. I’m hating to have to sell this car. However, my hand is kind of being forced if you know what I mean.
@r32fan video was just taken. I will have it to you soon.
Out of curiosity, you've only owned the car for 2 months - why are you moving on from it?
Can you add a PoV driving video?
@vettefish you are exactly correct and sorry for the miscommunication. The front bumper and side view mirrors are the only components that are painted white to match the color scheme. The lines and white stripe on top is white PPF on top of the clear body PPF.
I guess I understood all the white components as being "removable vinyl" as mentioned in the description. A little misleading if the front bumper is painted white. Please clarify, thank you.
So the front bumper is painted white, not agate grey? Are any other panels not painted in the factory agate grey?
@burnrubr love it
This will be a non-guilt track toy
@newsark I understand. This is the paperwork I have and what I was told. I had the entire car inspected in detail and there are no paint defects that were noted. The items that were addressed were done so professionally and free of any notable defects. If you would like for me to take it to a Bodyshop or your choice near me to confirm what I’m telling you, I’d be happy to do that as well.
I'm curios, what portions of the car were actually painted after the repair from the fire, and what portions are a wrap or other finish? Wondering how much work it would take to get it back the the original, all Agate Grey, paint? I think it is common in these kind of fixes to not do all the paint in order to keep the cost of repairs lower. Would be super helpful(value wise) to see more pictures/receipts from the repair work.
@ErikLS2 if you contact Averill Automotive in Myrtle Beach and talk with Chad who aided the person who wanted to have the PPI, he can share any additional items that you need. I believe that a DME scan was performed, but I was not given a report since I was not the PPI request owner. I was told that everything came back perfect with the entire PPI. then I requested a copy of the PPI and that was it. I know the car drives perfectly as I have put miles on it myself. I’d be happy if you wanted me to take it elsewhere for you to have another PPI or DME report done at a place near me or even at a Porsche Dealer if you want to have it transported there at your own expense. I recently had an oil change done in the last two months as well. I have the receipt for that. That is all the documentation that I have on me.
Is a DME report coming? Despite only 5k miles, with the largely unknown history it would be helpful to see.
@rltoms white
Is the front bumper white or agate grey (under any PPF)?
@vettefish there are absolutely no rattles, no squeaks, no leaks, no fit and/or finish issues, and no other items to note as issues. The car truly is in exceptional condition and there are absolutely no items needing to be addressed. It truly is as exceptional as you can get.
Any squeaks, rattles, or fit/finish issues? Any weird smells or leaks? Anything need to be addressed? Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $81,500
@wab_jr the roof skin was replaced as well as the headliner with OEM new parts is what I came to understand from the dealer that I purchased it from. The roof did not need to be cut out.
Can you further explanation about the “roof replacement” in the description-
“The seller notes that the front bumper, headlights, taillights, roof, and rear spoiler were replaced”
Was the roof cut-off & replaced? The damage pics do not show the roof or headliner area. Is there a new headliner?
@burnrubr yeah this beast is absolutely amazing in every way!
Bid in the amount of $80,000
A spirited driving video will ignite more bidding, imo
This will be a great DEs/HPDEs car, and then some.
@newsark the white stripes were added on top of the clear PPF. You can see directly through the clear PPF onto the paint of the car.
Did you put the white stripes on it? And is it clear PPF on the car, or Agate Grey PPF?
Bid in the amount of $75,250
@zapp I was not the person that performed the repairs. The dealership I purchased it from performed all repairs. As seen by the attached PPI the car has no issues . I’d be happy if you wanted me to take it somewhere else at your own expense for additional verification.
Could you share invoices from the bodyshop work that was done to the car?
Bid in the amount of $75,000
I believe all of the checks were performed. The name of the shop that performed the PPI is Averill Automotive. You can speak with Chad who dealt with my car when the PPI was performed.
Bid in the amount of $40,000
How about a DME?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@newsark the fire ignition had nothing to do with any component from the vehicle or the engine. There was nothing on the engine that was impacted from the fire. It appears that the vehicle was placed close to the burning building. My understanding is that it was placed front end first.
Do you know if the fire was from the car engine? Or just in the surrounding garage?
@NOLAracer I recently had the oil changed. I can include the receipt. Tires are in like new condition and I believe code on tires as I see is 2318
@StickyBlackice no. It was performed by the dealer that I purchased it from. Their work was performed exceptionally well as seen by the PPI. I’d be happy if you wanted to also have another PPI performed that your own expense as well.
Do you have any service records? Are the tires original, date code? What is tread depth?
Sorry if I missed this, but was repair work done by Porsche dealer?
Bid in the amount of $250
@newsark the only items that needed to be repainted were the bumper, roof and the spoiler. According to the person that I bought it from the PPF was protecting the paint. Even the hood has the original paint on it.
Was the car repainted or is the wrap covering damage to the old paint?
@JPP I do not smell any smoke smell inside the vehicle.
Looks like it was in a garage fire ... Is there any smell of smoke inside the vehicle?
Photos of the damage have been added to the bottom of the photo gallery.
@Flyingchef47 if you copy and paste the VIN on google you will be able to see all pictures of the fire damage
@StickyBlackice if you copy and paste the VIN on google you will be able to see all pictures of the fire damage.
Any more details on the damage from '22? Front, back, AND roof repaired/replaced... More info please
Ummm, maybe a bit more insight to the fire matter might be helpful for both the seller and anyone interested in this otherwise compelling example.
