We are pleased to present this 2018 Porsche 991.2 GT3 Touring finished in Paint to Sample Dolphin Grey over a black leather interior with cloth seat centers.  Sought after for its understated styling, 4.0L flat-six engine, and mandated 6-speed manual transmission, the GT3 Touring remains one of the most elusive modern Porsches on the market.  This 2018 example was ordered in a custom nonmetallic color and features an optional extended range fuel tank, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), full bucket seats, and the Front Axle Lift System.  Previously listed and sold on PCARMARKET, this GT3 is now being offered for auction by its owner out of California with just over 4k miles showing on the odometer.

At an additional cost of $12,830, this GT3 was ordered in the custom Paint to Sample color of Dolphin Grey, a rare nonmetallic shade originally offered on the 356 and 911 models of the mid-1960s.  This example has also been fitted with custom yellow Porsche side script graphics from KI Studios to match the PCCB calipers. A clear paint protection film is applied over the front end and detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  This 991.2 was ordered with the Touring Package in Black as well as Bi-Xenon headlights, deletion of the rear model logo, and silver 20” GT3 center-lock wheels which are currently dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The cabin is appointed with black leather upholstery and optional full carbon bucket seats with cloth centers.  Options from Porsche’s Exclusive Department include seatbelts in Silver Grey, a steering column casing in leather, and sun visors in Alcantara.  Other noteworthy features include painted air vent slats with vent surrounds in leather, floor mats with leather edging, the Bose Surround Sound System, and the Front Axle Lift System which provides extra front-end clearance with the press of a button.  A complete list of factory options is provided below:

  • Touring Package in Black
  • Extended Range Fuel Tank, 23.7 gal
  • Preparation for Exterior Paint to Sample
  • Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB)
  • Front Axle Lift System
  • 6-speed GT Sport Manual Transmission
  • Deletion of Model Logo
  • Luggage Net in Passenger Footwell
  • Smoking Package
  • Bi-Xenon Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System
  • Steering Wheel and Gear Lever/Selector in Black Leather
  • Bose® Surround Sound System
  • Air Vent Slats Painted and Air Vent Surrounds in Leather
  • Floor Mats with Deviated Carpeting, Leather Edging, And Stitching
  • Interior Trim in Leather in Interior Color I.C.W. Leather Interior
  • Full Bucket Seats
  • Automatically Dimming Mirrors with Integrated Rain Sensor
  • Sun Visors in Alcantara®
  • Steering Column Casing in Leather
  • Seat Belts in Silver Grey

This second-generation 991 GT3 features a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine that revs up to 9k-RPM while producing 500 HP.  Power is directed to the rear wheels through a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission, providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 3.2 seconds and a top speed of over 190 MPH.  Rear-axle steering and PASM suspension are equipped as standard, and this example has been optioned with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and equipped with an upgraded GMG exhaust system (original components included).  The seller confirms that all scheduled service has been kept up to date, and a DME report is provided for reference in the photo gallery along with some maintenance invoices.

This sale will include a set of two keys, owner's manuals, the original exhaust, some service records, and a clean title.  With its rare Paint to Sample Color, low miles, and premium factory options, this Dolphin Grey 2018 example may very well be the GT3 Touring you've been waiting for.

Do you have any photos of this beauty in the ‘wild’? Would be good to see how this PTS color looks in the real world outside the studio. Best

@toddjude Hi and thanks for your interest. The paint protection covers the front third of the car, including the front bumper, front quarter panels, the hood, the pillars and the first six inches of the roof. The paint protection was cut around the crest and yes there is a very faint line at the edge which is really not noticeable in person. These are the pros and cons of putting your car in an incredible lightbox studio for photos! The stripes have been applied over the paint protection and may be removed without issue at any time. Hope this helps, Pete

  • toddjude (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

is the paint protection just on the front clip?

did they cut the film out around the crest on the hood? is that why there appears to be some dirt around the crest?

are the side stickers under the paint protection film or can they be removed?

    thanks!

@Pschendel Got it - yeah you are right - sometimes it looks like there are divits there. Wasn't sure and thanks for clarifying on the muffler and the super fast response. Would have to part with something from the collection but this might be the one the makes me cross that bridge :)

  • Pschendel (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@Bergwerk I've never noticed those before but they do appear to be factory - check out the listing for the blue touring that sold here recently https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2018-porsche-gt3-touring-5/ same indents, same photographer, same studio. They also feel very factory to the touch (if that's a thing.)

The GMG is currently mounted on the car, I plan to deliver it like this, but the stock muffler will be included as well.

    Thanks for your interest!

    Pete

  • Bergwerk (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

Hi, Do you know what the 4 indents in the rear shelfs are (where the seats are removed on the GT3). It certainly does not look like there was a roll bar but it doesn't look factory normal to me either.

Also just to clarify your wording - The GMG is what is installed now and it is also coming with the stock muffler un-installed or the stock muffler will be re-installed for sale?

    Thanks much

  • Pschendel (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

Hi everyone, I am happy to answer any questions about the car. Just to reiterate, the sale includes two keys, the original stock muffler and the original window sticker. This car is a beast with absolutely no stories. The original owner applied the paint protection and installed the GMG muffler, I updated the side stripes with KI studios. The results of the Porsche South Bay PPI and DME report are included in the photos. Thanks and happy bidding!
