The Sapphire Blue Metallic finish has been kept in exemplary condition with Xpel paint protective film applied over the entire front end, behind the wheels, and above the rocker panels.  See the photo gallery for a collection of detailed images.  The GTS model comes with black exterior accents replacing the standard chrome trim and black-finished 20” RS Spyder design wheels.  Optional features on this example include LED headlights, a rear trailer hitch, and roof rails in black.  The rear bumper is said to have been professionally refinished for cosmetic purposes and the wheels were dressed in new Michelin tires within the last 4k miles.

Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0 L V6 engine with up to 17.4 PSI of boost.  360 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque is distributed among all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.8 seconds.  Adaptive air suspension with PASM is equipped as standard providing for a sporty and comfortable ride.  All scheduled maintenance has been addressed through an authorized Porsche dealership and this Macan is ready to be enjoyed with an extended factory warranty valid through 2025.

This sale will include a set of 2 keys, the original books and window sticker, WeatherTech floor mats, a cargo mat, trunk organizer, and a clean title.  If you are in the market for a sport crossover, the tastefully configured 1-owner Macan GTS is not to be overlooked.

@spatrol the love-fest comment got me thinking.

Every time I drive this Macan GTS or any of my two prior Porsche's, I smile. It has been delightful to own in every way.

Without the specifics, I have been forced to leave my profession due to health issues. As far as this car, I just cannot bear to drive it in a way like a regular car.

I will add to the MGTS love-fest. I have a 2017 in Yachting Blue (pts order). I love the car; tremendous handling, speed and comfort. Even my wife, who considers cars appliances, really likes to drive it and admits it's better than a Honda CRV (low praise indeed).
I struggle to think of a better all around vehicle considering handling, speed and visibility. I even love the stereo. I have had zero mechanical issues with mine although the final service (I'm short of 30k miles) was a bit breathtaking in cost.

    @DanL991TS Dan,

The only body scratch can be seen only when you open the trunk and look at the bottom left. Look at the picture 15th from the end.

There there are no dings whatsoever.

The wheels are mint with no scrapes or road rash. But, you don't need to take my word for it since wheels are fully covered under warranty for any scratches or road rash.

I've asked Dylan at PCAR to add this morning's detailed receipt from Sewickley Car Store to the auction. If he does, great, but this is what it says:

I learned that the original warranty lasts for four years and my extended warranty adds on an additional three years. 4 1/2 warranty years remain.

I learned from a multi-point inspection that the brakes have over 50% left.

The tires have well over 50% left.

The timing cover has a slight oil leak which is very common for Macans and will be fully repaired under warranty.

I paid for the new key fob and had it programed. I will be reimbursed for this cost under warranty.

Should anyone have questions, feel free to call the Sewickley Car Store in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Ask to speak with Duane, the service manager, or Greg, my service coordinator. I've instructed both of them that they can speak freely to anyone about my car.

Does the car have any dings, scratches, or road rash on the rims?

I have a vehicle inspection scheduled at Sewickley Car Store at 8 am tomorrow morning. They will put a 2/02 sticker. I will have my iPhone and will post what was needed and any other comments. One commentor asked about brakes. If new pads are needed, I'll have them replaced. Otherwise, I'll report how many MM remain. As the add reads, I replaced all 4 tires about 4K mile ago. BTW, at inspection, as always, I'll get an oil change with synthetic oil/lube/all fluids.

While looking at the papers last evening, I noticed that the sales date was February 27, 2018. That would be the date when all warranties commence.

  • Artdeckco (seller) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Well, this auction is T-minus about 40 hours, so I thought that I’d add a few real numbers to the mix. The sticker price was $78,340, but since this was my third factory built through the Sewickley Car Store, the sales manager offered a slight discount on the selling price of $76,563.

There are a few additional costs that were added at the dealership. I purchased a XPEL clear bra, $2,140; a 5-year Multi-Shield Protection Plan, gold option that covers one key fob/year, free repair of any wheel damage, and free repair and replacement of damaged tires, $1,698 ($50 transfer fee); a 5-year Polysteel, gold package that covers exterior paint protection and interior fabric and leather protection, $899 ($50 transfer fee); warranty extended for an additional 4 years or 84K miles, whichever comes first, $3,600 ($75 transfer fee). The total at the dealership was $8,337.

So, the out-the-door cost was $84,900, ignoring state tax and misc. doc. fees.

First, I would just like to say thank you to the Carmine red GTS owner. Another sweet color, but I am a bit biased toward the sapphire which "pops". The 1st-in-class trophy was a personal kudos that the blue-on-black works -- no chrome or stainless steel.

As for the warrantees, the factory warranty expires three years from purchase on March 22, 2018. That is when the extended warranty takes over for an additional four years or 84,000 miles, whichever comes first. Both the manufacturer's warranty and the wheel/key fob warranty are transferable.

Strange but true, the key fob warranty has been used most by me. I have lost one key fob and washed the other. I scored two warrantee key fobs for free. I've had no mechanical issues, except I snapped an electric window switch on the driver's door. The dealership replaced the entire switch for free.

  • KitChaos (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Can seller verify what the extended warranty covers as the factory warranty is 4 yr/48k miles, I believe. Is warranty transferrable?

  • riderup (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Beautiful MGTS. While I won't be bidding on the car, I just thought I'd tell folks who are thinking doing so, that I picked up a similarly slightly--used Macan 2-3 years ago (carmine red GTS with a crazy spec) for my wife and while it was exactly what she wanted and I knew she'd love it, I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I love it. They're really incredible vehicles...so very capable in so many ways...including being a real treat to drive spiritedly.

@Artdeckco Oh, and by the way, all pictures were taken on Nov. 28, 2020.

  • Artdeckco (seller) 3 years, 4 monthsago

@Metzmart I have scheduled an inspection at Sewickley Porsche (where purchased) for Monday the 7th. I have a February 2021 sticker, but Pennsylvania allows renewal three months ion advance. The car will come newly inspected. If the mechanic recommends brakes, I will have the pads replaced. The brakes have worked perfectly since purchase with no indication that pads are needed.

This car has never been smoked in. The ashtray is a cool and free option. It is used for holding change. Nor has anything been towed using the hitch except a bicycle carrier.

For what it is worth, this is my third Porsche build. My first was a 2001 Boxster S and my second was a 2004 GT3. I believe that this car benefits from my prior experience with options.

Strange as it may seem, the 3-ply glass option is one of my favorites. While the sport exhaust has a wonderful note, it can be silenced almost entirely by closing the windows. The Porsche Connect with Apple Car Play can be used in silence for calls through the car's sound system, voice responses to email, full Google navigation with voice, Sirius/XM, etc.

  • Artdeckco (seller) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Thanks for the “beautiful” comment. The car won 1st in class at the Hershey concours last year. Nice little trophy. I am an avid biker and use the tow hitch for a bike carrier.

  • Metzmart (registered bidder) 3 years, 4 monthsago

Nice looking vehicle! Was this vehicle ever smoked in? I see it has a towing option, what did you tow with it and how often? Other than needing tires soon any other needs, I.e. brakes?
    Thanks!

Beautiful Macan GTS. I have a Cayenne GTS with nearly the exact spec! Sapphire Blue, black leather/alcantara, only 6k miles. Good luck.
