Up for auction at no reserve is this 2018 Porsche 991.2 Targa 4 GTS finished in Chalk over a black leather interior.  The top-range Targa model of its generation, the 991.2 GTS came standard with the Sport Chrono Package, PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, center-lock Turbo S wheels, revised styling, and a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine rated at 450 HP.  This 2018 example was sold new from Porsche Newport Beach at an original sticker price over $167k with options including a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Rear Axle Steering, Premium Package Plus, and an exclusive heated multifunction steering wheel in carbon fiber.  Acquired as a Porsche Certified Pre Owned vehicle in 2018 and maintained by Beverly Hills Porsche ever since, this Targa 4 GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with approximately 45k miles on the odometer and covered under Porsche CPO extended warranty.

This Targa was ordered in the desirable nonmetallic shade of Chalk and can be identified as a GTS model by its black trim and lettering, tinted taillights, SportDesign mirrors, and SportDesign front and rear fascias.  CARFAX shows a rear-end collision to have occurred in April of 2018 and the seller reports only minor cosmetic damage was sustained with the rear bumper cover replaced as a result.  A corresponding repair invoice is available and additional images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.  This GTS rides on black painted 20” 911 Turbo S center-lock wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires.

The cabin features optional full black leather upholstery in favor of the standard GTS Alcantara trim.  Other optional equipment includes 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the Bose Surround Sound System, and a heated multifunction steering wheel in carbon fiber from Porsche’s Exclusive Department.  A complete list of factory options is provided below:

This 991.2 carries a twin-turbocharged 3.0L flat-six engine that develops up to 450 HP, driving all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission.  Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of 190 MPH.  Standard performance features include PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, and the Sport Chrono Package. This example also benefits from optional Rear Axle Steering and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) which improve handling and maneuverability.  The car has been regularly serviced under CPO warranty by Beverly Hills Porsche since 2018, with the most recent service completed in August of 2021 at 38,948 miles. The Porsche CPO warranty remains in effect until September 24th, 2023, or 100k-miles and scheduled service will be carried out at Beverly Hills Porsche prior to delivery for the next owner.

This sale will include the original owner's manuals, a set of two keys, and a clean title (lien). For any discerning driver in search of a modern Porsche Targa, this stunning 2018 GTS makes an excellent choice.

@Nikojo If the car sells for 130K you can pay the dealer wire funds to Vintage Brokers, and take immediate delivery of the car. If you prefer to payoff the lienholder then 2 wires need to be sent one wire to Amazon Leasing to payoff 92K and the difference in this example 38K needs to be paid to Vintage Brokers. Both wire instructions will be provided to the winner.

  • vintagebrokers (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Nikojo For out of state it will be sold under Vintage Brokers with title still held in personal name of the seller with a dealer reassignment form

  • vintagebrokers (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Nikojo Non Smoker and No Over Revs are possible on PDK is what I've been told.

I still need more clarity on exactly how the transaction would be structured… Who is getting paid what monies and why? I didn’t understand the last comment regarding the Amazon pay off versus paying the dealer in “full quote?

  • Nikojo (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

Is this vehicle still titled in the owners name? I’m asking because an Illinois the tax due on the vehicle is significantly different if I buy it from a private individual versus a dealer

  • Craftsmen 2 years, 3 monthsago

Bid in the amount of $92,500

  • vintagebrokers (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@rgarcia1070 Upon the payment received the payoff will be satisfied and either the buyer can pay amazon leasing (92K) and difference to the dealer here, which will take longer or pay the selling dealer who is a CA Licensed and Bonded dealer in full. Once fully paid off the buyer can pickup the car from Beverly Hills Service with 40K mile complete in the buyers name. Within 21 days the buyer will receive a clean and clear title. California buyers will be subject to Sales Taxes which will also be due and title will be sent out in the buyers name. Out of State buyers must ship the car and title will be mailed to them without any taxes due. Dealers buying must provide dealer license and state board resale permits to avoid paying sales taxes.

Is the lien on the title due to this being a Leased vehicle, and will that be discharged and a clean title be delivered to the new owner? As for the 40k service being performed, will the invoice detailing the work you mentioned also be provided to the new owner?

@carreraman Very Hard to miss intervals when the car has a service light that is irritating to avoid! Given the miles the car has been driven more then most, however the car has been very well cared, and always been in a temp controlled garage. In excellent condition both on the interior and on the outside. Live Inspections are welcome. I can also take additional picture requests should you want to see anything specific. As for Service receipts I will dig further and post what I can find soon! Thanks for looking, and I appreciate the bidding!

Beautiful car, no distractions, just pure porsche at its best. 991.2 the last of the great vintage. Good Luck!

  • carreraman (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

Looks like the vehicle has missed some big service intervals as carfax is showing a 10k service done at 34k. Any additional info on service records would be helpful especially if the vehicle had the 40k service performed.

  • BarryLe (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

I own a 2018 Targa 4 GTS with a manual transmission. This is a nice Targa but the interior could really have benefitted from the deviated stitching package and the carbon fiber interior trim kit. It is very odd to have the carbon fiber steering wheel without the matching interior trim kit.
