Up for auction is a 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Weissach Edition.  The GT3 RS has become the car of choice for those who seek an unmatched driving experience on the street or track.  This example was sold new in Quebec, Canada before eventually making its way to Flint, Michigan where it resides with its current owner.  With only 77 delivery miles and an extensive list of factory options, this GT3 RS presents a great opportunity to own one of the world's most desirable sports cars.

The black exterior paint is stated to be in showroom condition.  Specific to the RS trim, this car features an upgraded front spoiler, altered rear diffuser, and cohesive vents in the front fenders.  These options not only help increase performance, but add an aggressive look to the car.

The black leather interior is stated to be in brand new condition.  Alcantara can be found throughout the cabin including the inserts of the 918-style carbon fiber seats. The interior also features factory ordered yellow stitching and accenting throughout.  With an enormous MSRP of over $266k, this RS was ordered with a handful of desirable options such as:

  • Weissach Package
  • Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB)
  • Front Axle Lift System
  • LED Headlights in Black w/ Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
  • Sport Chrono Package
  • Extended Deviated Interior Stitching in Racing Yellow
  • Seat Belts in Racing Yellow
  • Door Sills Guards in Carbon Fiber
  • Bose Surround Sound System
  • Light Design Package
  • Fire Extinguisher

The Weissach package holds a heavy price of $18k and for good reason.  This package provides increased engine power, reduced body weight, and bespoke design features such as embossed headrests, a carbon fiber front hood, and Gold finished wheels (20” Front / 21” Rear) that are wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup II tires.

This RS houses a normally-aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine that produces 513HP and 347 lb-ft of torque.  Power is sent to the rear wheels through a lightning fast 7-speed PDK transmission.  The suspension is upgraded from a standard GT3, along with a larger rear spoiler, and NACA hood ducts; all helping to increase performance and handling.  The engine is stated to be in perfect running condition.

The sale will include a clean CarFax report, all books, original window sticker, and 2 master keys.  The car is also covered under Porsche's full factory warranty until January 24th 2023 or 50,000 miles.  Don’t miss your opportunity to own what could be one of the most exciting Porsches ever produced.

@mavenplayer All North American 911s are built to the same standards, the only difference between a Canadian and a US model are the analog dials with metric units instead of imperial units (digitally, you can choose which units you want displayed). Everything else on the car is identical.

The car is currently on a clear Colorado title and can be registered anywhere in the United States without a problem. It has already been imported into the United States, there are no additional fees (we have covered all import fees such as duties, etc.). The buyer has no additional fees to pay other than your regular state taxes.

@Zguri sorry about that, just a typo. We corrected the title on the YouTube video. It is a 2019 model (991.2).

I am confused as the video attached to your presentation lists a 2016 vehicle. Please clarify.

@DGAutoClub Thank you for that clarification on the MSRP. Would it be possible to post a copy of the window sticker? Since this is a Canadian spec car that has been imported into the US, it would be useful to see the differences from a regular US imported car. Also, is the car currently titled and registered in the US, with all applicable fees, duties and taxes paid? Or will that be the responsibility of the buyer? Thanks.

@PCARMARKET That is bad marketing copy writing. The engine provides a max 520PS / 516bhp no matter the car's trim level. WP is just a trim package on this car. The potential performance enhancement of the WP is attained entirely through the small weight reductions. I have one of these cars; I'm reasonably aware of the specs. I don't believe you will find a different power output quoted for the car in WP and non WP trim, anywhere. Anyone else parroting the same line is promulgating an error. In your case it is somewhat understandable: you have gone to what ought to be a trusted source. In the case of any journalists, if you have seen them doing that, it is sheer laziness because they know the difference between marketing copy and fact.

@mavenplayer The MRSP on this car is 235,000$ USD

  • PCARMARKET 4 years, 9 monthsago

@Banango we strive to be as accurate as possible and appreciate you pointing that out. We have read numerous articles including this one that says it does. https://www.porsche.com/international/models/911/911-gt3-models/911-gt3-rs/concept/weissach-package/

If you still feel we are incorrect please feel free to respond.

Is the MSRP listed in CDN or US dollars? It would also be helpful to see a copy of the window sticker. Thanks in advance.

Since when did the Weissach Package offer increased engine power on a 991.2 GT3 RS? It doesn’t. It’s just a collection of carbon fiber pieces and some cosmetics, and the right to purchase magnesium wheels at a premium. Who fact checks these descriptions? Anyone bidding on this would be wise to review the BAT comments when this car was listed there and failed to sell.
