Introduced in 2014 as the successor to the E92 M3, the F82 M4 is the high-performance version of BMW's 4-Series coupe. The M4 Competition was announced in 2016 and features a redesigned adaptive M suspension, retuned Dynamic Stability control, 20” forged wheels, lightweight seats, and a power increase to 444 HP. This 2019 example was ordered in Austin Yellow Metallic over an Individual Amaro Brown Extended Merino Leather interior and was optioned with the Competition Package, the Executive Package, the Driver Assistance Plus Package, and the Lighting Package, as well as a 7-speed M DCT automatic transmission, a moon roof, and Aluminum Blade interior trim with Black Chrome highlights. The exterior is finished in Austin Yellow Metallic (B67) accented by high-gloss black Shadowline trim. Equipment includes M4-specific front and rear bumper covers, aerodynamic mirrors, quad black exhaust tips, fender vents, black M4 badging, full LED adaptive headlights with automatic high beams as equipped by the Lighting Package, LED tail lights, and blue M-branded brake calipers. The M4 Competition is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbocharged S55 inline-six engine, rated at 444 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 7-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission and an electronically-controlled Active M limited-slip differential. From a standstill, the M4 can reach 60 MPH in as little as 4 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The Competition Package equips specially tuned springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars as well as revised programming for the electronic differential and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system. The optional M Adaptive suspension system allows for the driver to select from multiple dampening modes. The seller reports this M4 to have received all routine maintenance, and a full maintenance inspection was performed by Lamborghini Paramus in March of 2022.
