The BMW R nineT is a classically styled café racer offered as part of BMW’s Heritage line. Equipped with a 1,170cc 4-stroke flat-twin and a single-sided swingarm, this 2019 example was selected with Option 719, a program dating back to 1923 that allows customers to personalize their motorcycles with unique, high-quality enhancements. Offered with a unique ‘Option 719’ Mars Red, Cosmic Blue, and white color scheme, this R nineT is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 70 miles on the odometer.

The 2019 R nineT embodies a blend of classic and contemporary design elements, enhanced with a gold-finished front suspension fork, a lightweight aluminum engine cover & tail section, and 17” wire-spoke steel wheels. This example is fitted with Option 719, BMW’s ex-works customization program, and is finished in Mars Red/Cosmic Blue, with the ‘719’ moniker in white across the fuel tank. Additional features included with Option 719 are a line of milled parts produced by the BMW Motorrad Spezial customization department. It rides on Metzeler tires and the driver is provided with a black leather single seat with white contrast stitching along with dual instrumentation ahead of the handlebars which support dual rearview mirrors. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

An air-cooled 1,170cc flat-twin DOHC engine provides up to 110 HP and 86 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheel by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The steel frame features an inverted front fork with adjustable suspension, a single-sided rear swingarm, and Brembo brakes. Standard equipment includes a multifunction display with a tachometer and an onboard computer, a power socket, an LED taillight, and antilock braking.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals and a clean title.

@Ram3k thank you. Yes, I can assure you nothing is wrong with the bike. I ride it around once or twice a month in order for the bike not to go stale. Bike has never been registered. Everything works on the bike and it starts right up.

@305Trader - cool bike, interesting story. Can you confirm for interested bidders like myself that there is nothing wrong with the bike and that everything works properly, which should be the case given such low mileage and recent vintage ?

    Many thx

@mibi I like the vtwin engine instead of the flat twin. No complaints on the smoothness of the BMW ride. It’s a preference of the engine build. I do not like the bulkiness of the BMW engine and I was not aware of this until the bike arrived because when I purchased the bike it was an out of state purchase.

@305trader i have always liked my boxers and I agree the color scheme is outrageous! but what is it you like about the Duke compared with the boxer--- the high reving scream? I always felt my BMW was smooth, balanced and one of my favorite to ride!

@TubeGuy I purchased the bike because I fell in love with the color. Because this is the first BMW bike I ever purchased I was not aware of the engine build. I am not a fan of the flat twin or boxer engine. This is why I chose to never ride it. I prefer riding the Ducati monster that does not have the boxer engine. But the color is what got me to purchase the bike and the 70 miles it currently has is just me riding it around as you know a bike will go stale if not used for long periods of time.
