We are pleased to offer this 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista finished in Blue Elettrico over a Nero Alcantara interior. Influenced by the 488 GTE and Challenge race cars, the Ferrari 488 Pista derives its namesake from the Italian word for track and features a twin-turbocharged V8 producing over 700 HP. This 2019 example was ordered through Ferrari of San Francisco at an original sticker price over $544k, personalized with special colored stitching, yellow seatbelts, carbon-fiber racing seats, carbon fiber wheels, titanium exhaust pipes, bespoke interior accents, and extensive carbon-fiber trim. Cared for by its original owner, this one-of-a-kind 488 Pista is now being offered for auction out of Wisconsin showing just over 2k miles on the odometer.

Using aerodynamic technology borrowed from Ferrari's racing cars, the Pista produces 20% more downforce compared to the standard 488 GTB. This example comes finished in Blue Elettrico (810) with two-tone racing stripes in Argento Nurburgring and Blu America.  Other optional details include carbon-fiber side air splitters, front vents, intake ducts, front flaps, and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser with integrated F1-style brake light as well as Scuderia fender shields, yellow carbon-ceramic brake calipers, and titanium exhaust tips. This Pista rides on optional 20” single-piece carbon-fiber wheels wrapped in Hoosier R7 competition tires showing date codes from 2021. The seller notes the full exterior has been preserved under clear paint protection film, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cockpit is trimmed in Nero Alcantara with Blue Ettrico stripes, Blu America contrast stitching, yellow safety belts, a yellow rev counter, and bespoke Giallo Modena “Dreamline” accents on the steering wheel and shift paddles. The large-sized carbon-fiber racing seats feature manual lifters and embroidered Cavallino emblems in the headrests. Optional matte carbon-fiber trim extends across the upper and lower dashboard to the door panels, center console, steering wheel, shift paddles, instrument binnacle, and door sills. Driver amenities include a high-power JBL sound system, a radio navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity and a parking camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a front suspension lifter.

Housed beneath an optional carbon-fiber engine cover is the Pista’s dry-sump 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 that generates up to 710 HP at 8,000 RPM, using revised camshafts, a larger intercooler, strengthened pistons, titanium connecting rods, and thin-walled Inconel exhaust manifolds borrowed from the 488 Challenge race car. The rear wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission which allows for gear changes in as little as 30 milliseconds with the race mode engaged. The Pista can accelerate to 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 2.8 seconds while reaching a top speed of 225 MPH as claimed by Ferrari. The Pista incorporates Formula One-inspired race technology like the Side-Slip Angle Control system, an E-Diff electronic differential, Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer traction control, and a magnetorheological active suspension that allows the driver to make the most of the Pista’s impressive performance. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes come paired with cross-drilled 398mm discs in front and 360mm in the rear. Recent service in December of 2021 at Ferrari of Lake Forest included an oil service, new belts, and new engine and cabin filters. This 488 Pista remains under its original 7-year free maintenance package offered by Ferrari, which includes enclosed trailer pick-up and drop-off service.
